The Voice Season 15: The Finale Brings Me Home

Team Blake: Chris Kroeze sang Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd-- I loved this performance! This is the song that I have been wanting him to do all season and he did not disappoint. The coaches were all on their feet and I think each of them brought up his rad guitar playing skills.

Team Kelly: Chevel Shepherd sang It's A Little Too Late by Tanya Tucker-- Adam said he has always thought that she has a special and classic voice.

Team Blake: Kirk Jay sang Defenseless-- J Hud said you belong in this industry. I want to buy every album. Blake said Kirk I love you dude. The most important thing I heard from Jennifer is that you made her a country fan. Kirk is the real deal. I totally agree, he has a special voice.

Team Jennifer: Kennedy Holmes sang Love is Free-- The song was really cool, it seemed a little old for someone so young, but she sounded great. Kelly said she loved the 90s vibe. J Hud liked that she came into her own as an artist.

Blake and Kirk sang You Look So Good in Love by George Strait

Jennifer and Kennedy sang Home from The Wiz

Team Blake: Chris sang Human-- Many called it the performance of the night and the perfect song for him. Chris has been the most streamed artist numerous times this season on the voice and performances like that prove why.

Kelly and Chevel sang Rockin with the Rhythm of the Rain by the Judds

Blake and Chris sang Two More Bottles of Wine by Emmylou Harris

Team Blake: Kirk sang I Won't Let Go by Rascal Flatts-- Adam said your voice stands out and that is one of the most valuable things as a singer. Blake said I believe in my heart that you are going to change country music. I personally am obsessed with that song, and love it. It is tough to sing and he navigated it perfectly.

Team Kelly: Chevel sang Broken Hearts-- Adam said he cannot believe how young Chevel is. Kelly was crying because she was so touched by Chevel's performance.

Team Jennifer: Kennedy sang Confident by Demi Lovato-- Jennifer said Kennedy just turned 14, you were a true professional . I thought Beyonce was up there. This was a performance that I like to call an exclamation point performance.

Performances of the night-- Home the duet between Kennedy and J. Hud, Chris Kroeze singing Human, Kirk singing I Won't Let Go by his Idols Rascal Flatts, and Chevel Shepherd singing some Tanya Tucker.

I think Chris is a safe bet to win, but I could honestly see any of the country artists taking this. I think Kennedy finishes in 4th place.

The Voice Season 15: The Top 8 Are a Vision

Team Kelly: Sarah Grace sang Sign of the Times by Harry Styles-- Not my favorite song but well thought out. It was a solid vocal, I don't think it was her best performance, so whether or not she will make it to the finals is based on how things go for the remainder of the night. Kelly emphasized how young Sarah is.

Duet with Reagan and Kennedy

Team Jennifer: MaKenzie Thomas sang Vision of Love by Mariah Carey-- Kelly said I cannot stand it, you are so good. She said this show is called The Voice and that performance is what this is all about. Blake said that is one of the best performances I have ever seen. J Hud said you are a coach's dream. MaKenzie has been by far the most consistent contestant this season. If there is such thing as a shoe in for the Finale, it must be her. The vocals are in a different class than everyone else.

Duet with Chevel and Kirk

Team Kelly: Kymberli Joye sang Never Alone by Tori Kelly-- Jennifer said I felt like I was at a gospel musical concert. Kelly said I love you, and I think you are so talented. I was inspired by Kymberli's performance. Her vocals were so genuine.

Team Blake: Chris Kroeze sang Can't You See by The Marshall Tucker Band-- Kelly said Chris is a storyteller and so nostalgic. You represent an important part of music which is nostalgia. Blake said thank you for giving the beer drinking, back road driving viewers someone to route for. I notice that they are not going to Adam at all tonight. Chris has been a favorite of mine since the beginning and I do hope that he makes it to the finale because I agree with Kelly in terms of what he represents.

Duet with MaKenzie and Kymberli

Team Jennifer: Kennedy Holmes sang This Is Me from The Greatest Showman-- This song was so appropriate for her. She was shining throughout the performance. Jennifer talked about just how proud she is of Kennedy.

Team Adam: Reagan Strange sang You Are the Reason by Calum Scott-- Blake said I always love your performances. Yours tonight was a breath of fresh air. Adam said she commanded the stage and he said I believe in you. It's been an honor being your coach. It was a nice performance, with that being said, I have questions about why she couldn't sing last week.

Duet with Sarah and Chris

Team Kelly: Chevel Shepherd sang Blue by LeAnn Rimes-- Chevel is another contestant on the show who has a certain nostalgia about her. She did LeAnn's song so perfectly, it's a deceptively hard song to sing and she did it justice. Kelly said you are pure country and you're the kind of country that I love. You are so talented.

Team Blake: Kirk Jay sang I Swear by John Michael Montgomery--J Hud said I am your biggest fan. One of the things I will miss most when this is over is hearing you sing.  Adam praised his "identifiability" in terms of the uniqueness of his voice. Blake reiterated how proud he is of Kirk. It's really cool watching Kirk sing every week because you know when he gets up on stage that he is doing something that is different.

My Final Four (in no particular order)--- Kirk, Chris, MaKenzie, and Kymberli

The Voice Season 15: The Top 10 Are What I Like

Team Jennifer: Kennedy Holmes sang Me Too by Meghan Trainor-- All the coaches were on their feet. She was incredible, her vocals were on point; she's the total package. Kelly said the moonwalk was crazy, singing this was a great move for you tonight. Adam said if that's 13, I sucked at being 13. J Hud said you never disappoint.

Team Adam: Reagan Strange sang Cry by Faith Hill-- Reagan is special, that song covers a lot of ground vocally and she sang it so effortlessly. Blake said I wanna cry since you didn't pick me as your coach, I'm still upset about that. That's a hard song to sing. Kelly said what I love about you most is how you express emotion. Adam said she raised the song a half step higher than the original. When you get up there and sing, you command the attention of everyone in the room, I am nothing but proud of you.

Team Kelly: Sarah Grace sang Amazing Grace-- At first I wasn't feeling this version, but I thought she did a great job of keeping with the meaning of the song, but totally flipping it. It was so smoldering and bluesy. Jennifer said this showed your confidence to be able to take something like that and make it your own. Kelly said it is her favorite version of Amazing Grace.

Team Kelly: Kymberli Joye sang Oceans by Hillsong United-- That song was so beautiful. She moved me with that performance. Blake said I feel like that is your most powerful performance so far. You were finally able to reign in everything and give us a controlled, tasteful performance. Jennifer said there is nothing you can't sing. Kelly said your capability to touch other people is insane.

Team Blake: Chris Kroeze sang Callin' Baton Rouge by The Oak Ridge Boys-- I love Chris's authenticity. He performs with such love for what he does. Blake said he is proud of him as a coach and as a fellow country singer and musician.

Team Blake: Dave Fenley sang When You Say Nothing at All by Alison Krauss-- I liked the statement that Blake made when he said Dave has paid his dues. That's very clear. I didn't love this song for him, but Blake said it was different than anything he has done before.

Team Adam: DeAndre Nico sang That's What I Like by Bruno Mars-- To me, this is much more in DeAndre's wheelhouse than anything he has sang in the past. This suited his voice and style so much. J Hud said you sang that song down, you showed a more performance side of yourself. Kelly said I loved how you ended the song, you left them wanting more. Adam said it's so special to be here and experience that, you stepped it up.

Team Kelly: Chevel Shepherd sang You're Looking at Country by Loretta Lynn-- This song was old school but Chevel managed to pull it off. Blake said, Chevel you found a way to make the song even more country than it was originally. J Hud said you're adorable and I love every single thing you say and do. Adam said you're so cute and so talented, I can't stand it. Kelly said I am so blessed that you picked me, I can't wait to hear your record.

Team Blake: Kirk Jay sang Tomorrow by Chris Young-- Great song choice for him! I completely agree with all the coaches comments. This was so unique. J Hud and Blake were on their feet. J Hud said I am your co-coach, this boy needs to make a country album. Adam said I am a big fan of yours as well. It feels like when you perform, something new is happening for country music, I am transfixed by what you do.

Team Jennifer: MaKenzie Thomas sang Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion-- This MaKenzie can sing! Wow, she did Celine proud! I loved this. Jennifer compared her to all the powerful female singers out there.

Tough call on who is going home tomorrow night!

The Voice Season 15: The Top 11 Bring the Emotion!

Team Blake: Dave Fenley sang Use Me by Bill Withers-- Blake said Dave just threw himself into that performance. I like Dave so much and his charisma sold the song for me. I just didn't think it was the right song choice for him.

Team Kelly: Chevel Shepherd sang Space Cowboy by Kacey Musgraves-- I loved this song choice for her. Kelly complimented her vocal tone and her storytelling quality.

Team Adam: Reagan Strange sang Complicated by Avril Lavigne-- Blake said I am such a fan of yours. There is something special about you, a ton of charisma and you sing perfectly. Adam continues to be impressed by her and believes she could win the competition. Reagan is one of my personal favorites. She is so young and her potential is limitless.

Team Kelly: Kymberli Joye sang Break Every Chain by Tasha Cobbs-- Another odd song choice, I didn't love the repetition of the chorus and towards the end it sounded like shouting. Jennifer said it sounded like being at the Voice baptist church.

Team Blake: Kirk Jay sang Body Like a Back Road by Sam Hunt-- I like that this was the song choice because Sam Hunt is contemporary country which is what I could see Kirk doing. Blake said what the hell are you doing up there? You are George Strait fixed with Rascal Flatts. You're one of a kind.

Team Blake: Chris Kroeze sang Long Train Runnin' by The Doobie Brothers-- My hands down fave performance of the night! Chris is truly bringing back this 70's rock style sound. His guitar solo was really strong. Blake called his performance incredible.

Team Kelly: Lynnae Moorer sang Consequences by Camila Cabello-- I think it was so smart to have her doing a current song. Jennifer said you surprise me every time, you look like a star. You continue to raise the bar and you should be proud of yourself. Kelly said you are making each moment count.

Team Jennifer: MaKenzie Thomas sang Emotion by The Bee Gees--Stunning vocal! It was different than the Bee Gees and different than Destiny's Child. I loved this! She needs to make the finals. Jennifer and Kelly were on their feet. Jennifer said you are so skilled.

Team Kelly: Sarah Grace sang The Dog Days Are Over by Florence and the Machine-- Blake said I have been a fan of yours from the beginning. That is my favorite performance of yours so far. I did not realize she was 16. I actually heard her for the first time tonight. Blake was right, this was by far her best performance. Kelly praised her for being a smart singer.

Team Adam: DeAndre Nico sang Cry for You by Jodeci-- Wow! I mean that performance was so him, he is bringing back the classic 90's R&B. Jennifer said you took me back DeAndre. Adam said it was the song everyone wanted him to do but they didn't know that they wanted him to do that. That song does take you back and it was an amazing time in music. DeAndre commands the stage.

Team Jennifer: Kennedy Holmes sang The Greatest Love of All by Whitney Houston-- Blake, Kelly, and Jenn were on their feet. Jennifer said we will vote for you, you were wonderful, we will see your name in lights. She was incredible. She truly channeled Whitney in that performance.

Chevel, Kymberli, and Dave are my bottom three prediction.

The Voice Season 15: You Say it's The Top 13

Team Blake: Chris Kroeze sang Let it Be by The Beatles-- What a great tribute.  Chris is dedicating this to a young girl from his hometown who was abducted. Chris is one of my favorites, the tone of his voice is so unique. Hopefully being up first is not going to hurt him.

Team Adam: Tyke James sang Everything I Do I Do it For You by Bryan Adams-- He is creative and original, but I was not crazy about his version of the song. Kelly said this is my favorite thing you have done. You stand apart, you're so creative.

Team Adam: DeAndre Nico sang I Can Only Imagine by MercyMe--- DeAndre is probably the most talented vocalist this season. He needs to be a finalist for sure, and anything less would be unfair. Jennifer said that must be a mighty girlfriend for you to dedicate that to her. I love the spirit you brought to the song. Adam calls his voice identifiable! So true Adam!

Team Kelly: Kymberli  Joye sang Diamonds by Rihanna--  Her voice was sharp and affected at points. Her tone overall was warm. I liked this, but didn't love it. Kelly said you sing it different every time.

Team Jennifer: Kennedy Holmes sang Wind Beneath My Wings by Bette Midler-- I think this song is way too old for her. I find her extremely talented for her age, and I hope despite this mistake in singing this, she gets through.

Team Jennifer: SandyRedd sang It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday by Boyz II Men-- I liked the moments when she came away from her low voice. Her voice was emotional and it really soared. This was a great song choice for her. Beautiful! Blake said I love seeing an emotional side. He said the low register of your voice is amazing.

Team Kelly: Chevel Shepherd sang Little White Church by Little Big Town-- Probably the most energetic performance of the night. Chevel was fierce, did not show her young age at all! She was so experienced and so poised on the stage. I hope this young lady gets through. Kelly talked about how awesome she is at 16.

Team Jennifer: MaKenzie Thomas sang I am Changing by Dreamgirls-- Perfect song for her, first night that I really took notice of her and heard her. What a stunning performance! I was surprised that more of a big deal was not made about her performance!

Team Kelly: Sarah Grace sang Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John-- I wanted to hear a more contemporary song from her. I am not sure how many people are going to vote for her or remember this performance. She might be in danger tonight.

Team Blake: Dave Finley sang Hard to Love by Lee Brice-- Not my fave song but Dave is so genuine and authentic. I loved this. Adam said Dave is one of his favorites in the competition. Blake said that what Dave is doing right now is so important.

Team Kelly: Lynnea Moorer sang Wolves by Selena Gomez-- Lynnea is so inspiring, I loved her! Wolves is not a fave song of mine, but I loved the way she sang it. She made it her own and her voice is beautiful.

Team  Blake: Kirk Jay sang I'm Already There by Lonestar-- Whether or not Kirk wins this competition, he is going to be a HUGE star! Jennifer said I don't care whose team you are on, you are bad, bad, bad.

Team Adam: Reagan Strange sang You Say by Lauren Daigle-- Adam said Reagan you epitomize what this show stands for. You are a truly amazing artist! Wow, I completely agree, Reagan is well beyond her years. I think she is going to be in the finals too.

Sarah, Kymberli, and Tyke are my bottom three.

The Voice: Season 15 My Predictions on Who Will Make it to the Top 12

Team Blake:

Kirk Jay and Funsho were the strongest performances by far! I think Natasia Greycloud and Chris Kroeze will duke it out for the final spot.

Michael Lee and Dave Finely are going home.

Team Kelly:

Zaxai, Chevel, and Kymberli are moving on.

The three other member's of Team Kelly had weak performances in comparison.
Abby and Sarah had pitch issues and Keith chose the wrong song-- it's like he wasn't himself.

Team Adam:

DeAndre is as close to a sure thing in this competition that we can get. Reagan and Kameron are moving on.

Steven, Radha, and Tyke are going home.

Team Jennifer:

SandyRedd and Franc are moving on, Colton and Kennedy are fighting it out for the final spot.

I am going to say Patrique and MaKenzie are going home.

The Voice Season 15: The Knockouts Are The Best Thing

Sorry, so last week, I was busy but I did watch all the performances.

Team Adam: Keith Paluso singing You Are the Best Thing by Ray LaMontagne vs. Tyke James singing Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash-- I am usually right in line with how Adam feels about contestants but I honestly thought he should have chosen Keith here, but maybe it's because what he did was so expected and what Tyke did was so unexpected.
Adam chose Tyke, tried to save Keith but Kelly stepped up too and he chose her!

Team Kelly: Kymberli Joye singing The Middle by Zedd and Maren Morris vs. Zaxai singing Cruisin' by Smokey Robinson vs. Natasia Greycloud singing Tennessee Whiskey-- Natasia was the best in this, she was vocally the strongest and had the strongest performance. Zaxai, I would advance based on that stunning falsetto. I was not feeling Kymberli's performance.
Kelly chose Kymberli and Zaxai to move forward. Thank goodness, Blake saved Natasia!

Team Jennifer: MaKenzie Thomas singing How Deep is Your Love by The Bee Gees vs. Mike Parker singing Breakeven by The Script-- I wasn't crazy about either performance.
Jennifer chose MaKenzie

Team Adam: Radha singing I'll Be There by The Jackson 5/ Mariah Carey vs. Reagan Strange singing Dancing on my Own by Robyn-- Reagan won this knockout for me. At points, I didn't like Radha's tone. Adam thought Reagan made a gutsy song choice! I agree! She was so so good. Her voice is mature beyond years.
Adam chose Reagan and saved Radha, a little surprising on the save cause she had some pitch issues for me.

Team Blake: Katrina Cain singing Don't Let Me Down by The Chainsmokers vs. Funsho singing Earned It by The Weeknd-- Funsho by far won this vocal knockout. He sang Earned It so effortlessly. Kelly called Funsho a beast and Adam said he was an exciting performer.
Blake chose Funsho

Team Jennifer: Patrique Fortson singing I Don't Want to Miss a Thing by Aerosmith vs. SandyRedd singing Dangerous Woman by Ariana Grande-- Performance wise, Patrique made the better song choice! Dangerous Woman was an odd song choice for SandyRedd, although she can do no wrong in terms of her vocal ability.
Jennifer chose Patrique and saved SandyRedd

Team Jennifer: Franc West singing Call Out My Name by The Weeknd vs. Tyshawn Colquitt singing Pillowtalk by Zayn-- I actually liked both of these guys. They each offered something different to me yet they are both classic R&B singers. Kelly and Jennifer both commented on Tyshawn's range! Adam said that they are pretty even but Franc might be a little further ahead in artistry. Jennifer said that Franc's voice cuts like a knife.
Jennifer chose Franc

Team Kelly: Claire DeJean singing There's Nothing Holding Me Back by Shawn Mendes vs. Abby Cates singing Because of You by Kelly Clarkson-- Claire has a gorgeous round tone but she was way too breathy throughout this song. This song is hard to sing because there's a lot of words, and it was like she just ran out of air. Abby is not my fave by a long shot but she out-sang Claire.
Kelly chose Abby and comforted a crying Claire

Team Blake: Dave Fenley singing Stuck on You by Lionel Ritchie vs. Kameron Marlowe singing I Shot the Sheriff by Bob Marley-- I thought both of these guys were so creative and original, so dynamic. They definitely both deserved to win. I felt like both of their song choices were not songs I would have expected them to sing.
Blake chose Dave and Adam saved Kameron

Team Kelly: Chevel Shepherd singing Travelin' Soldier vs. Sarah Grace singing I'd Rather Go Blind-- I loved Chevel here, I would definitely go with her. Adam agreed and leaned toward Chevel. Blake felt Sarah hit it out of the park and he would go with her. Kelly liked that they both picked bold and fearless songs.
Kelly chose Chevel and saved Sarah! Kelly kept both of them!

Team Adam: DeAndre Nico singing Wanted by Hunter Hayes vs. Jake Wells singing Yellow by Coldplay-- Jake was so willing to go outside the box on this song. Wow! DeAndre was amazing, I loved his soulful take on Wanted. Blake said his performance was brilliant. Kelly said Jake, I loved how you took a classic and did something rad with it. DeAndre your voice is so powerful. I wish Jake could have stayed also, he is such an artist.
Adam chose DeAndre

Team Jennifer: Anthony Arya singing Operator by Jim Croce vs. Kennedy Holmes singing What About Us by Pink-- Actually loved both of these contestants. Both artist clearly know who they are. Anthony is so defined at such a young age, and Kennedy is so vulnerable. I love that about her. Jennifer had very similar sentiments.
Jennifer chose Kennedy

Team Blake: Kirk Jay singing In Case You Didn't Know vs. Colton Smith singing Lady Marmalade by Patti LaBelle-- These two guys could not be more different than each other. They both are passionate about what they do. Blake said Kirk is so special and to embrace this moment and not be afraid of it.
Blake chose Kirk and Jennifer saved Colton

Team Adam: Delaney Silvernell singing Praying by Kesha vs. Steve Memmolo singing Unaware by Allen Stone-- I liked both of them but I think I would have to give the edge to Steve and I was not even initially a Steve fan. Blake said this is very evenly matched-- Delaney you're one of my favorites, and Steve your overall presence fills the room, vocally you had the edge. Jennifer enjoyed listening to Delaney and it was intriguing watching you Steve, maybe Steve. Kelly thought this was Delaney's best performance so far, and thought Steve's performance was incredible. Adam said he had a tough choice and he said I am going to pick who is ready right now.
Adam chose Steve

Team Blake: Chris Kroeze singing Burning House by Kam vs. Michael Lee singing Whipping Post by The Allman Brothers--  Loved Chris's performance, his vocal was so unique and beautiful. I felt his heart in that. Michael was a beast, his performance was emphatic. Kelly said Michael your tone was incredible. Adam said he would go with Chris. Blake said Chris your voice is ridiculous, your voice is so high and has so much power. Michael, I look a you, and I don't think you're gonna sound like that.
Blake chose Michael and saved Chris! They both deserved to move forward.

The Voice Season 15: Can You Stand the Rain? The Battles Come to a Close

Team Kelly: Sarah Grace vs. Erika Zade singing No Roots by Alice Merton-- I did not like the song choice at all. Blake said Erika you have a softer voice whereas Sarah has that attack. Kelly said they both have such different approaches.
Kelly chose Sarah Grace

Team Blake: Kayley Hill vs. Kameron Marlowe singing I Only Wanna Be With You by Hootie and the Blowfish-- J. Hud finds Kameron so sincere when he sings. Kelly would have chosen Kayley. Adam said Kayley you're mega talented but Kameron you were free-er. I'd go with Kameron. I actually agree with J. Hud and Adam--- Kayley came across as a little bit superficial to me. Kameron was genuine and he sings with meaning which is somewhat absent from music today.

Team Kelly: Claire DeJean vs. Josh Davis singing All This Love by JP Cooper-- Kelly chose Claire
Team Blake: Caeland Garner vs. Kirk Jay singing Let it Rain by David Niall-- Blake chose Kirk
Team Jennifer: Kennedy Holmes vs. Lela singing Battlefield by Jordin Sparks-- Jennifer chose Kennedy

Team Adam: Deandre Nico vs. Funsho singing Can You Stand the Rain by New Edition-- Cee Lo said that the song should not lose the integrity of the original. OMG! These two took me way back. Best battle EVER! Enough said. I love how they were so passionate and so supportive of each other. Adam said it looks like you became friends, and that makes the best music. You stepped up and we made one of the best battles of the season.
Adam chose Deandre, OMG someone steal Funsho!Yes, Blake saved Funsho!!! :)

Going into the Knockouts my front-runners from tonight are obviously DeAndre and Funsho but I am interested to see how Kameron holds up in this and not really getting to see Kennedy and Kirk who I considered front-runners going into the battles will be interesting.

The Voice Season 15: The Battles... Too Close in Some Cases

Team Blake: Keith Paluso vs. Dave Finley singing I'm A One Woman Man by George Jones-- They are well matched. I honestly cannot choose-- Dave and Keith both brought it! Wow, I loved their range, their sheer talent, the vocals had so much swagger. J. Hud said you took us on a journey and you made it work. Kelly said it felt raw and organic, it's just who you are. Adam said I am not gonna say who won because it goes against the spirit of what that was. Keith the fact that you're not country and Kelly thought you were is a testament to you, and Dave you're a badass. No one could choose!
Blake chose Dave! Keith needs to get saved! Yes! Adam saved Keith!

Team Adam: Emily Hough vs. Reagan Strange singing Photograph by Ed Sheeran-- I would give the edge to Reagan. I just loved her tone and intonation. Blake praised both young ladies. J. Hud said Reagan embraced the moment, and Emily you have such a big voice. You sounded amazing together. Kelly said Reagan's voice is like poetry, and she was captivated by Emily. Adam said I am such a big fan of the both of you and this is going to break my heart.
Adam chose Reagan, he said she has this thing about her, I can't explain it, she's just special.

Team Jennifer: Franc West vs. Matt Johnson singing Too Close by Alex Clare--  I was okay with this, I didn't love the song. Matt was smoother, but Franc definitely had a swagger. Adam said he loved both of them but liked Matt's game face. Blake said he would go with Franc. Jennifer said she loved both of them, they each bring something different. She said something about Franc's swagger and how his voice cuts through her like a knife. I knew she was going to pick him.
Jennifer chose Franc

Team Kelly: Abby Cates vs. Delaney Silvernell singing Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding-- Delaney won this by a mile. Her tone is warm and smooth. By contrast, Abby sounded inexperienced, her phrasing was odd. Adam noted Delaney's experience but said he wouldn't choose between them and J. Hud echoed his sentiment. Blake said he would go with Delaney because you can hear the experience in her voice.
Kelly chose Abby and Adam immediately stole Delaney

Team Adam: Foushee vs. Radha singing Growing Pains by Aleesia Cara-- Adam chose Radha
Team Kelly: Mikele Buck vs. Chevel Shepherd singing You Look So Good In Love by George Strait-- Kelly chose Chevel
Team Jennifer: Audri Bartholomew vs. Makenzie Thomas singing Always Be My Baby by Mariah Carey-- Jennifer chose Makenzie

Team Adam: Jake Wells vs. Natalie Brady singing Closing Time by Semisonic-- OMG! Jake is my absolute fave! I love how he performs, I love his voice. He made Natalie better. Their voices blended so well! Blake said Jake, you were a one chair turn, clearly you got away from us. He said he would maybe go with Natalie. Kelly said Jake you look like Brad Pitt meets Kurt Cobain and you're a good singer. Adam thought the version of the song was so special, it seemed like a finale performance.
Adam said I need to choose who spoke to me the  most.
Adam chose Jake

Team Jennifer: Tyshawn Colquitt vs. Zaxai singing Love Lies by Khalid and Normani-- I love both of these artists, they are both very different, but both true R&B artists. I love how they took this song and had two guys singing it. The dynamics were incredible! I could not see parting with either one of these guys, too close to call for me. Kelly said she would lean towards Zaxai. Blake said you should go with whoever you blocked Kelly to get.
Jennifer chose Tyshawn, and Kelly needs to steal Zaxai! Yes!!! Kelly saved Zaxai!

Who stood out to me tonight? Jake Wells, Zaxai, Delaney, Tyshawn, Keith and Dave! There were so many great performances tonight. Who did you love? Leave some LOVE in the comments. ;-)

The Voice Season 15: The Battles --- Mercy, Not Good!

Team Kelly: Kimberli Joye vs. One Up sang Mercy by Shawn Mendes-- I loved how the guys voices blended together. Kimberli's voice at points seemed too strong. It's always odd when it's a duo versus one singer because at times the due can come across like a backup singer for the other vocalist. I would go with One Up. Jennifer said you wore me out.
Kelly chose Kimberli..... ehhh no!

So excited! Cee Lo is back as Adam's advisor!

Team Adam: Anthony Arya vs. Steve Memmolo sang Amie by Pure Prairie League-- I don't love the song choice. The performance was kind of forgettable to be honest. I wasn't feeling it. Blake said Steve stepped up on a song that was very much Anthony's wheelhouse. Adam feels Anthony has shown more growth but Steve is very seasoned. Why did J. Hud use a save?
Adam chose Steve, J. Hud saved Anthony

Team Adam: Jarred vs. Tyke sang Always a Woman-- Again, indifferent, who are these people? I didn't like either.
Adam chose Tyke

Team Blake: Mercedes Ferreira Dias vs. Chris Kroeze sang Back in The High Life by Steve Windwood-- Well, that was an abbreviated performance but I thought Chris won that. Mercedes sounded great with him, but I don't see her having as much star quality as Chris. I'd go with him. Adam praises Mercedes for being a returning contestant and turning a chair. Blake said Chris has a Chris Stapleton vibe.
Blake chose Chris

Team Blake: Rachel Messer vs. Katrina Cain sang Angel by Sara McLachlan-- This song was disposable for me. I felt it was too sleepy. I had a hard time figuring out who was the better vocalist. That being said, I would go with Katrina, I just think she had a stronger Blind Audition.
Blake chose Katrina

Team Jennifer: Mike Parker vs. Natasia Greycloud sang Gravity by John Mayer-- Mike improved so much since his blind audition. Kelly said you all sound unbelievable. Adam said Mike you were really good. You guys both made the song come to life. Jennifer had a hard time choosing, she said Jesus answers prayers.
Jennifer chose Mike, that was the right decision J. Hud! Kelly chose Natasia

The only ones I am looking forward to are Chris and Mike, maybe Natasia sneaks in there. Overall unimpressed with tonight, I don't think I have ever said that before.

The Voice Season 15: The Blinds End and The Battles Begin

Emily Hough sang Big Yellow Taxi by Joni Mitchell-- I was not blown away. I actually thought she was out of tune several times. The coaches liked her though. Adam turned, then Blake, and Jennifer.
It just seemed like despite the coaches thinking that her voice was angelic she probably needs a few more years. That being said, here we are.
Emily chose Adam

Josh Davis sang Too Good at Goodbye by Sam Smith-- Another boring performance for me! I thought the song was wrong for him. Kelly and Jennifer turned. Kelly said she wants a male power voice on her team to hang with the females.
Josh chose Kelly

Lisa Ramey sang Beautiful Trauma by Pink-- Was not good, didn't connect with the song. No one turned. Kelly and Adam didn't think she chose the right song. Blake felt there were pitch issues.

Katrina Cain sang Rhiannon by Fleetwood Mac-- I loved how she didn't change the feeling of the song too much. She was definitely the strongest of the night so far. Her voice is pretty. Jennifer and Blake both hit their buttons. Blake liked the mysterious of the version of the song that she did. Jennifer liked her versatility. I was honestly thinking she was going to go with Jennifer.
Katrina chose Blake

Matt Johnson sang Never Too Much by Luther Vandross-- I liked it but I was waiting for him to go to that falsetto note that Luther does and it never happened. I wanted to see more range from him. Matt said he has been auditioning his season one. Jennifer was the only one to turn so she scored Matt.
Jennifer chose Matt

OMG! The Battles are starting tonight?!

Team Kelly: Sandyredd vs. Cody Ray Raymond sang Cry to Me by Solomon Burke-- Thomas Rhett is the advisor, I love him! Oh WOW! I love this performance, the song was perfect for them; they're a good match and compliment each other so well. Cody is much improved from the Blinds and he is better than I thought he would be. Sandy is so strong, she is a force of nature. Without question, both of them are moving on, and someone is getting saved. Adam says he will save whoever doesn't move on cause he's no dummy. Blake said you guys are superheroes individually and avengers together. He called Cody vintage and Sandy like no one in this world. Kelly said Cody is like Chris Stapleton and she said Sandy is one of the best singers she has ever heard in her life.
Kelly chose Cody and Sandy was saved by all three coaches and she chose Jennifer

Team Blake: Michael Lee vs. Joey Green sang A Thing Called Love by Bonnie Raitt-- Keith Urban is Blake's advisor. Michael to me is the more seasoned vocalist, he's stronger, and more skilled. Jennifer thought Michael had more presence and would go with him.
Blake chose Michael

Team Jennifer: Patrique Fortson vs. Colton Smith sang God Gave Me You by Blake Shelton-- I forgot this was a Blake Shelton song. I love how they turned it into a gospel song in a way. Patrique's range is incredible, and Colton has a gorgeous tone to his voice.
Jennifer chose Patrique and Blake saved Colton!

Katrina out of the blinds is going to be good in this competition.

With the battles, Cody impressed me and SandyRedd is continuing to be amazing.

I also cannot deny Michael, there's something special about him.

The Voice Season 15: The Blinds Are Drippin' In Finesse

Caeland Garner sang Dancing in the Moonlight by King Harvest-- This was a toned down performance of Dancing in the Moonlight. I definitely would have liked to see more dynamics. Blake is right when he said your voice sounds like it comes from a different time. He does seem like a 70s throwback artist. Jennifer thought he had a beautiful instrument. Jen and Blake were the only ones to turn. Caeland knows Red Marlowe who was Team Blake not too long ago, so of course.....
Caeland chose Blake

Madison Cain sang You Oughta Know by Alanis Morrissette-- She grew up in a musical family; her dad was the keyboarder for Journey! I love this song choice but this needed to be sung like Kelly said, with some abandon. It needed to be dirtied up a little bit. This song is angry and reckless!
Madison didn't get a chair turn but she did make it to the comeback stage!

Lela sang Miami by Camilla Cabello-- Lela, she is young, it's impressive that she has such a good tone. Being bilingual in music is so essential right now and she did that effortlessly. She definitely has some work to do if she wants to keep up with some of the experienced artists but the has the goods. Kelly and J. Hud turned for her. Jenn asked if she dances and she said she does. Kelly encouraged her to keep singing in Spanish.
Lela chose Jennifer

Cody Ray Raymond sang Born Under a Bad Sign by Albert King-- Okay, so I will say I was not crazy about it. Jennifer liked how soulful he was. Kelly liked his runs and how effortless he sounded. He says his musical taste is Seattle bands from the 90s, and Adam says he regrets not turning. I think he and Adam would have been a great match. Cody also says he is influenced a lot by Boyz II Men.
Cody chose Kelly

Jake Wells sang When the Stars Go Blue by Ryan Adams-- This was my performance of the night! Jake's voice is just pretty! He has vulnerability, emotion when he sings; there is something special about him. He sings gospel music and sings in church with his family. I low key panicked a little bit cause the end of his performance came up and no one was turning, but of course, Adam saved the day and turned. Adam said you're so different and to not reward that is the antithesis of what The Voice is all about. J. Hud talked about the layers in his voice. She said good on Adam for turning around and not missing that, not letting his voice slip through the cracks. I love how humble she is!
Adam chose Jake

Abby Cates sang Scars to Your Beautiful by Alessia Cara-- Abby has a gorgeous tone to her voice, she does sound like Tori Kelly like Kelly said. Kelly was the only one who turned for her. I am actually surprised she was only a one chair turn, she might be a surprise in this competition.
Kelly chose Abby

Funsho sang Finesse by Bruno Mars-- This definitely should have been a 4 chair turn! Blake didn't turn. Adam was first out, then Jenn, and Kelly. Funsho made this song his own which is so hard because Bruno Mars is such a stylized artist, and it is not easy to sing anything he does. I loved his big notes, I loved his falsetto. This was so good! Adam said Bruno is one of the greatest singers, your vocal is so complete, you literally have it all. Adam said I led and they followed. Kelly said I loved that you did such a good job making that song your own. Jenn said your voice did not get lost in the music, that's what made me turn my chair.
Funsho chose Adam because he is a HUGE fan

Funsho is going to go far in this and Jake Wells and Abby Cates are HUGE dark horses in this! <3 nbsp="" p="">

The Voice Season 15: God Bless the Blinds!

One Up sang Could It Be I'm Falling In Love The Spinners-- Adam and Jerome are good together. Adam is definitely the better singer, he's more consistent. Jerome does the highs and lows but he has some pitch issues. Kelly, Jenn, and Blake turn--- all last minute. Kelly is emotional and says love is limitless. Jenn joins them on stage to hug. Blake talks about coaching the Swan Brothers, and Adam endorses Blake.
One Up chose Kelly

Natalie Brady sang Barracuda by Heart--Her voice is killer, she has a genuine rock voice. Adam turned immediately and J. Hud turned towards the end. Adam said you are a phenomenal rock and roll singer, shame on you two for not turning, she is a 4 chair performance. If the Wilson sisters didn't like each other anymore and they needed a singer for Heart they'd call you.  J. Hud said your voice is like an oncoming train. Natalie said she has sung on Broadway and she's from Nashville, and has two kids. Blake said shame on Kelly for not turning.
Natalie chose Adam

Hannah Blaylock sang Baby Now That I've Found You by The Foundations -- Wow, she must be nervous because she is super pitchy. No one turned! She was good and she does have tons of potential. Hopefully she will get chosen for the comeback stage.

Mike Parker sang So Sick by Neyo-- I love how Mike persevered, he did not give up in his performance and as a result Jennifer turned at the last minute. She was the only one to turn. Kelly said you have a really great solid voice. Adam said that was one of my favorite moments of today. I have never seen anyone get so excited.
Jennifer chose Mike

Joey Green sang Baba O'Reily by The Who-- Loved his voice and loved his performance. He reminded me of a Billy Joe Armstrong from Green Day. Adam said there was a fearlessness in your voice. Joey said he is a country Americana artist. Blake and Jennifer turned. Blake said I would be honored to be your coach. Jenn said as long as you're passionate about what you're doing that's what matters. I would love to be your coach honey.
Joey chose Blake

Zaxai sang Come and Get Your Love by Redbone-- He has a clear voice, you can hear every word. The other thing I enjoyed about him is that his style is so throwback, he sounds like an old school R&B singer. So good! Kelly said your voice and your runs were so clear and beautiful. Jennifer said you seem like such a performer. He said you guys are my idols and my inspirations. Jennifer and Kelly turned and Jennifer blocked Kelly.
Jennifer chose Zakai

Erika Zade sang New Rules by Dua Lipa-- Not crazy about that performance at all, but I guess Kelly liked it. I just didn't like her rendition of the song, I felt like it was kind of all over the place. Jennifer said she appreciated her attitude but she was waiting for something else.
Kelly chose Erika

Jarred Matthew sang Tired of Being Alone by Al Green-- Jarred works for NASA and he enjoys singing because it makes him happy. His voice is limited, not a lot of range. Blake and Adam turned. I was okay with this, but wasn't feeling it 100%. Adam tells him his falsetto needs work, and he can help him with that.
Jarred chose Adam

Sam Robbins sang Time in a Bottle by Jim Croce-- He did have a beautiful voice! No one turned for him! I think it was too mellow, it didn't go anywhere. However, Sam did make it on Kelsea's comeback stage.

Edited Performances---
Colton Smith sang Alive by Sia-- Jennifer chose Colton

Kaley Hill sang Gold Dust Woman by Fleetwood Mac-- Blake chose Kaley

Finally.....
Kirk Jay sang God Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts-- His voice is so strong and so clear. I was feeling his dynamics! I liked that when he sang, it very much came across that he was going somewhere with it, telling a story. Blake and Adam turned and then Kelly and Jennifer turned at the end. Adam said it sounded like Cee Lo Green singing a country song. Blake said I never thought of that and he went up and hugged Kirk. Adam said if you don't come to my team, I hope you go to Blake's team. Kirk said he is country til the day he dies. Kelly said he also had a Boyz II Men and Brian McKnight vibe. Adam said for the first time, I wanna see you on Blake's team. Blake said I just kissed Adam Levine. Jennifer said go with your heart honey.
Kirk said he definitely picks Blake

Mike Parker strikes me as a hard worker, he could be a dark horse in this competition.

And I loved Zaxai, Joey Green, and Kirk Jay-- they could all go far in this!

The Voice Season 15: Nights 3 and 4 of the Blinds Got Me Feelin' It Still

Night 3

Dave Finley sang Help Me Hold On by Travis Tritt-- Dave is a seasoned voice and he's a performer. The song choice was perfect for him. Blake and Kelly are fighting it out-- Kelly said you're from Texas, so am I. Blake said he should choose what he is comfortable with, and Kelly said, what's wrong with pop. I love how Dave broke out some beat boxing, he really showed his versatility. Kelly almost got him but in the end....
Dave chose Blake

Steve Memmolo sang Spooky-- I wasn't totally sold with Steve but I feel like he has strong technical skills with his voice that will pay off in the long run. Like Adam said, there is a lot of skills he has that can't be taught. Adam and Jennifer turned. Adam thinks he looks like Ben Affleck. Kelly said I get J. Lo all the time, no worries. Adam said I feel it in my spirit. Jennifer said your vocal approach and maturity was amazing. I want him on my team. Kelly said I think Adam is hitting on you.
Steve chose Adam

Audri Bartholomew sang Never Enough from The Greatest Showman-- Audri reminds me in some ways of Jordin Sparks. J Hud clearly heard that and was the only coach to turn. She had some shaky points, but there's potential there.
Jennifer chose Audri

Rachel Messer sang I Want to be a Cowboy's Sweetheart-- Kelly and Blake again! She was phenomenal, reminded me a lot of LeAnn Rimes. I loved how authentically country she was. Kelly said there is life beyond Blake when it comes to country music. Kelly really wanted Rachel, but her plan all along seemed to go with.....
Rachel chose Blake

Brent Morgan sang Feel it Still by Portugal and the Man-- Cool how he flipped the song. I felt like the performance wasn't that strong but his voice was cool. No one turned.

Chevel Shepherd sang If I Die Young by The Band Perry-- Interesting that she got those turns because she seemed timid but I suppose they saw that potential. Adam said I loved you, and she said, I love you too. He said he should have turned but by the time he did, it was too late. Kelly said she wants a female country artist.  Jennifer said her voice is so pure and she is so sane. Kelly said, Blake I hate you. Adam asked Kelly where her moxie was.
Chevel chose Kelly

Bryan Cherry sang Nothing Can Change This Love by Sam Cooke-- For some reason, the performance wasn't quite right. No one turned.

Delaney Silvernell sang In My Blood by Shawn Mendes-- Kelly felt this performance as she is the only one who turned. There was nice tones in Delaney's voice but I didn't think that the vocal was strong enough for her to advance. Hopefully this will be a case of someone proving me wrong.
Kelly chose Delaney

Anthony Arya sang Danny's Song by Loggins and Messina-- This didn't have the dynamics it needed to. He's so young, so he will definitely have the quality of being able to mold and adapt him to what you want him to be. Adam was the only one to turn and he turned right away.
Adam chose Anthony

Natasia Greycloud sang I'm Not the Only One by Sam Smith-- I was not feeling this performance. There were a lot of pitch issues for me. There was a disconnect, she didn't seem connected to the song. Jennifer and Kelly were fighting over her. Kelly said she heard old school Mariah, totally unsure where she heard that.
Natasia chose Jennifer

Lynnea Moorer sang Location by Khalid-- No one turned but I am so excited she got chosen for the comeback stage.

Kymberli Joye sang Run to You by Whitney Houston-- I don't know if such thing exists, but I felt like this performance was too perfect--- rehearsed, robotic, it did not seem real to me. I will need to see her performances going forward to figure out if this is really good karaoke or if she is the real deal.
Kelly and Jennifer turned and Blake turned at the last minute. Kelly blocked Jennifer. Kymberli wanted Kelly all along, so she probably did not even need to use a block.
Kymberli chose Kelly

Night 4

Reagan Strange said Meant to Be by Bebe Rexa-- Reagan  has a very mature voice and she carries herself like she is older than 13. I think it is amazing that she possesses the poise she does at her age. Adam turned first and Blake turned at the end. Adam said I am going to have tears if you pick him. Adam told her that there was an effortlessness to the power in her voice, and it was very Danielle Bradberry-esque. Blake tells her he has won with people from all genres of music, and he starts doing the pointy thing that Reagan likes. Adam starts begging.
Reagan chose Adam

Foushee sang Redbone by Childish Gambino-- Adam and Jennifer turned. Adam said what I loved most about you is that I couldn't figure you out. I loved your vibe and style. Jennifer said your voice was off the piano. Blake said it is so cool that she's on the show. I love how Adam already referred to himself as her coach.  Adam said she didn't sound like she was imitating any other singer which is tough to do. I agree I found her to be so different.
Foushee chose Adam

Wyatt Rivers sang Take Me to Your River by Leon Bridges-- I actually really liked him. Kelly said you have beautiful low tones. You have the sexiest name ever. Yay! He is getting a chance on the comeback stage.

Chris Kroeze sang Pride & Joy by Stevie Ray Vaughan --I loved the grit and the blues in his voice! That was so old school. He does trips to the Middle East to play for our troops! I love that. Jennifer said you almost caught one of my shoes while you were singing up there like that. I don't care what genre you sing, I want you on my team.  Blake said your singing is electrifying, you could make it to the finals.
Chris chose Blake

MaKenzie Thomas sang Big White Room by Jessie J-- Her voice is beautiful! She definitely did a lot of work on her voice. Jennifer said your voice is beautiful and effortless. I felt so emotional listening to her sing. As Adam said, I love when contestants come back and get through and it is so well deserved.
Jennifer chose MaKenzie

SandyRedd sang River by Bishop Briggs-- There is literally no way to describe what Sandy did because it was in another class. Her performance, her vocal, her whole vibe was fire. Blake said he hit his button, it's a long shot, but she deserved that. Jennifer said I gave you both my shoes. She called her two sons and two brothers up on the stage. Kelly is rendered speechless. She said you are like fire. She said I don't know who you are going to pick but I cannot wait to watch you. Adam said I do care who you pick, I did turn first, you can win this, and you should do it on my team. Kelly said you had rock and roll, soul, and country. Jennifer said if I did it, you can do it too.
Sandy chose Kelly.... I am SHOCKED!

The Real Deals from these 2 Nights-- Dave Finley, MaKenzie Thomas, SandyRedd, and the dark horse here is Foushee

The Voice Season 15: The Blinds Night 2 Prove The Thrill Is Not Gone

Claire DeJean sang Hurt Somebody by Noah Kalan and Julia Michaels-- Props to Blake and Kelly for turning. Claire seemed shaky several times during her audition but one thing she does have, is tons of potential. I could really see her growing in this competition with the right coach. To be honest, Blake or Kelly would really suit her.
Claire chose Kelly

Franc West sang Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay by Otis Redding-- Franc's voice is very bluesy and soulful. Blake's thoughts were correct-- he sounds like he has an accomplished and experienced voice. Adam asked Jennifer what was going through her head and why she turned. She said the smokiness and the rasp in his voice, and then when she turned around he had a look of his own. This was definitely a good choice!
Jennifer chose Franc

Michael Lee sang The Thrill is Gone by B.B. King-- Michael is singing one of my personal favorite songs! I am a HUGE B.B. King fan. Him singing that song the way he did, and playing the way he did, is unexpected. He will stand out on this show, and especially if this is the direction he wants to go in. Adam turned first, followed by J. Hud who threw her shoe, and Blake turned at the last minute. Kelly was immediately regretful that she did not turn, especially when she found out he was from Texas. She said, "oh you're bad". Blake said this would be a match made in heaven, you deserved all the button pushes you could get. Adam said the song choice says a lot about what kind of artist you want to be.
Michael chose Blake

Ele Ivory did not get a chair turn but she did get chosen for Kelsea's comeback team

DeAndre Nico sang When I Was Your Man by Bruno Mars-- DeAndre has an undoubtedly strong voice, but then there is a tender part along with an amazing falsetto. I think that's what got Blake to turn at the end. Adam turned first, way before everyone else! J Hud turned, then Blake, and Kelly came in right at the end. Adam said I heard the greatness early, I pressed like a minute before everyone else, you're amazing, and now that they've made it personal, I am going to fight even harder. Kelly said I loved the big beautiful notes you were hitting. J Hud said she loved the range, the way his voice soars, the depth, the soul, and his look. DeAndre said, what you got to say Blake? Blake said you have so much skill, and you could go with any of these other people, or you could go with the winningest coach in Voice History.
DeAndre chose Adam

These 4 contestants are all potential underdogs in this competition. I can see them flying under the radar to the live shows if they all work hard and do their homework.

The Voice Season 15: Night 1 of the Blinds Turn Tables on Previous Seasons

Sarah Grace sang Ball and Chain by Janis Joplin-- It is unreal how nuanced her voice is. For 15 years old, she has poise and grit beyond her years. Kelly called her stank face, J. Hud said she had sass, and Blake said she has grit and passion. Blake said I think I would be a great coach for you. I am surprised Adam didn't turn and make this a well deserved 4 chair turn.
Sarah chose Kelly

Tyshawn Colquitt sang Like I Can by Sam Smith-- Blake said you go into that falsetto, hummingbird whistle, and I know I am out of my league here but I want to be your coach. He told J. Hud he wants to bring real R&B back. I didn't think it was necessarily the best song for him but I loved his old school style. Him wanting to bring classic R&B back is so appealing.
Tyshawn chose Jennifer

Tyke James sang Perfect by Ed Sheeran-- Kelly said she wanted his hair. Adam was the only one who turned for him. His voice was very different. With good development, I could see him moving in the competition.
Adam chose Tyke

Ayanna Joni was passed on by the coaches but she is getting another chance on Kelsea's comeback team.

Mercedes Ferreria Dias sang She Used to Be Mine by Sara Bareilles -- Kelly and Blake turned for this comeback artist! She sounded great. Blake said your voice is so personal, I want to help artists like you, you're unique. Kelly said there is this little sad part in your voice, and that's my favorite part. Mercedes said her mom likes Blake, and Adam said, go give her a hug Blake, and he said, I will, after Mercedes picks me.
Mercedes chose Blake

Radha sang Mama Knows Best by Jessie J-- Adam said I am your guy, he blocked J. Hud. He said that when she started that song, it made him sit up in his chair. Blake said you vocally kicked the door down. Adam, Blake, and Jenn turned. My feeling on Radha is she is somewhat loud; I wanted her to have more dynamics. If she can clean that up, she will do well.
Radha chose Adam

Kameron Marlowe sang One Number Away by Luke Combs -- Kelly and Blake turned. Kameron is the country rocker this season. Adam regrets not turning but Kameron reassures Adam that he most likely would not have chosen him. No surprise, he chooses Blake.
Kameron chose Blake

Mikele Buck sang She Used to Be Mine by Brooks & Dunn-- Such a perfect choice of song for him to display his talent. Blake and Kelly turned which I completely expected. Adam advises Kelly on how to get Mikele on her team. She talks about working with Jason Aldean, and stealing Kaleb Lee from Blake's team last season. She says her husband is Blake's manager.
Mikele chose Kelly

Patrique Fortson sang Get Here by Oleta Adams-- Patrique is soulful, this sounds like the classic R&B we used to hear on the radio in the 80's and 90's. Jenn and Adam turned. Poor Adam basically knew he didn't have a chance.
Patrique chose Jennifer

Kennedy Holmes sang Turning Tables by Adele-- Well deserved four chair turn, this young lady has an unforgettable voice. It's not even believable that she is only 13. She sings I am Changing on stage with J Hud. Adam says she could become the biggest thing ever to come from this show. He could very well be right. Blake was in awe of her poise. Kelly was crying. In the end, Kennedy chose J. Hud, no surprise.
Kennedy chose Jennifer

Sarah Grace and Kennedy Holmes are going deep in the competition, and I won't count out dark horse, Mikele Buck

Fall Network TV 2018-- Lots to be Excited About

There are only a couple of things that excite me about Fall-- fashion and Fall TV.

There are a lot of returning favorites and there are several new shows that I am eager to watch.

Sunday

Sept. 30th @ 8pm on CBS-- God Friended Me-- In an age of political correctness, this dramedy is faith based. Athiest Miles Finer has a podcast where he's free to speak his mind, but that all changes one day when he receives a social media friend request from God. Miles believes this is some type of hoax but when the friend request leads him to struggling journalist Cara Bloom, things start to change. The two find themselves investigating people that the God friend request lead them to, and they begin helping those people. Will his new found faith and belief in helping others lead him to change? I loved Brandon Michael Hall from last season's canceled series, The Mayor. I can't wait to see him take on something more serious in the role of Miles. The premise of the show seemed initially confusing but overall intriguing.

Sept. 30th @ 8pm on FOX-- The Simpsons-- The animated comedy goes where few TV shows have gone before, into season 30! This season, comedian Tracy Morgan will guest star on two episodes. Aslso coming up this season, Gal Gadot and Emily Deschanel guest as themselves. The Treehouse of orror episode features Homer in an oyster eating contest. Homer and Marge also go on popular reality show, The Amazing Race!

Sept. 9th @ 9:30 on FOX-- REL-- A comedy inspired by the stand up of Lil Rel Howery, the premise is that Rel's wife has an affair with his barber, and he basically has to start over. In crisis, his family is there for him, his dad, recently widowed (played by Sinbad), his best friend Brittany (played by Jessica Moore), and his younger, recently out of jail, brother Nat (played by Jordan L. Jones).  I'm not easy to please when it comes to comedies but I will try this one out. The previews have been funny. I'm a sucker for some Sinbad.

Monday

Sept. 24th @ 8pm on NBC-- The Voice-- Season 15 premieres with Adam and Blake this season accompanied by Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson.

Oct. 1st @ 8pm on CBS-- The Neighborhood-- Again, I am not a big comedy person, but the previews were all funny. Cedric the Entertainer stars as Calvin Butler, an overly opinionated next door neighbor living in a predominantly African American neighborhood in Los Angeles. Dave Johnson is a friendly guy who works as a conflict negotiator and moves next door to The Butlers when his wife Gemma gets a new job. Along with their son Grover, the Johnson's try to make the best first impression possible on their new neighbors.

Sept. 24th @ 9pm on CBS-- Magnum P.I.-- A modern take on the classic series that starred Tom Selleck, now with Jay Hernandez (a longtime favorite of mine) in the title role. Thomas Magnum is a former Navy SEAL who has returned home from Afghanistan and now works as a private investigator. To supplement his P.I. business, Magnum works as a security consultant for Juliet Higgins, a former M:16 agent. When he is on the case, Magnum turns to friends TC a former Marine and chopper pilot who now runs a helicopter tour business, and Rick also a former Marine who works in the nightclub business and is one of the most connected men on the island of Oahu. I can't wait to see how similar and different this is from the original.

Sept. 23rd after the NFL on FOX-- 911-- begins season two! 911 was the biggest surprise of all the new series last year for me. I loved the dynamic between the various characters. This is one the most talented ensemble casts on TV-- Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Connie Britton, Oliver Stark, and Aisha Hinds just to name a few. This season Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ryan Guzman join the cast. Connie Britton is still negotiating a deal to come back as Abby Clark in Season 2. I hope that they can make it happen because she is by far my favorite character.

Sept. 24th @ 10pm on NBC-- Manifest-- well, I am not a fan of The Good Doctor and Bull so this may be my show in the 10 o'clock time slot on Mondays. Manifest is a modern day phenomena. A flight leaves the runway in the year 2013, something goes terribly wrong during the flight, and when the flight lands several hours later, five years have passed! The passengers now have to pick up the pieces and reintegrate themselves into their lives that have changed without them.

Tuesday

Oct. 16th @ 8pm on ABC-- The Connors-- Okay, okay, I'll be honest, I am one of those people who believes this show won't be the same without Roseanne Barr. After all, she did create these characters. These characters and the actors behind them are the reasons I will still tune in-- Dan, Becky, Darlene, DJ, Jackie, and now a new generation of Connors. The series supposedly picks up following the death of matriarch Roseanne. The family will face more challenges --- dating, parenthood, financial tough times, and an unexpected pregnancy. It will be interesting to see how the series picks up and moves on without the original title character who has given up all creative rights to the show.

Sept. 25th @ 9pm on CBS-- FBI-- The new Dick Wolf series is a behind the scenes look at the inner workings of the New York office of the FBI. The series is a small look at what this Bureau does to keep our country safe. I am super excited about this series because it stars Missy Peregrym who starred on Rookie Blue which I only watched because of her. She stars as Agent Maggie Bell. Rounding out the cast is Jeremy Sisto as Jubal Valentine, Zeeko Zaki as Omar Adom  "OA" Zidan, and Ebonee Noel as Kristen Chazal.

Sept. 25th @ 9pm on NBC-- This Is Us-- The critically acclaimed darling returns for season three after leaving us hanging in season two at Kate and Toby's wedding. We were also given a glimpse into the past and led to believe that there is turmoil ahead for these characters that we love so much. We'll see Jack in the Vietnam era. We already caught a glimpse of Kevin and new gal Zoe going to Vietnam on a trip to find out more about Jack's past. Randall and Beth will not be killed off, at least not this season. Rebecca and Jack's courtship will be explored. Whoever the "her" is that Tess and Randall are taking about, it's not good and it will be unexpected. Toby's family will be explored, what leads him to depression? What's up with him and the brother who didn't show up to his wedding? Jack's brother will be a part of season three. There will be a Miguel-centric episode. Lastly.... show-runners say that they have already shot the final scenes of the series. They say they always knew where this story would end.

Oct. 16th @ 10pm on ABC-- The Rookie-- Nathan Fillion (Castle) returns to ABC in a drama/comedy series based on true events. This time he's small town guy John Nolan who, following a life altering incident, decides at the age of 40 to pursue his dream of becoming an LAPD officer. He becomes the oldest rookie in the LAPD, and learns how to navigate the world of a "young cop".

Sept. 25th @ 10pm on NBC-- New Amsterdam-- The series is inspired by Bellevue Hospital, the first public hospital in the country. There are a lot of medical dramas on TV, what makes this different is the approach. Creator David Schulner said "the way The West Wing made me feel hopeful about our government is the spirit I wanted to capture here". Ryan Eggold (formerly of 90210 and the Blacklist) plays Dr. Max Goodwin the hospital's new director. I don't think I have ever seen him stronger in a role.

Wednesday

Sept. 26th @ 8pm on CBS-- Survivor: David vs. Goliath-- Season 37 pits those who come from privilege against those who have literally clawed their way through life.

Sept. 26th @ 8pm on NBC-- Chicago Med-- The youngest of the three Chicago series, Med enters season four after ending with some intense cliffhangers. Do Will and Natalie end up getting engaged or ending things for good. Does Connor take the job offer from Mayo Clinic? Sarah observes Dr. Charles stop chest compressions on her father who is a serial killer.

Sept. 26th @ 9pm on NBC-- Chicago Fire-- Season 7 opens with a shocker, Gabby is gone (Monica Raymund)! Matt is not dealing with their long distance marriage well; it obviously affects  him and everyone sees this. Severide confronts him about how it's taking him off his game. Meanwhile, Severide and Kidd's relationship is going strong. Joe Cruz will also begin a relationship. Brett has been rolling through partners since Gabby left, and her most current partner is Emily Foster (Annie Ilonzeh, Person of Interest) joins the cast. She doesn't get off on the right foot with either Brett or Boden. Producers also promise more cast members.

Oct. 10th @ 9pm on The CW-- All American-- Yes, I am a huge Taye Diggs fan, and that's why when I saw that he was starring on a new CW series, I had to take a peek. I'm intrigued by the premise. Yes it is common for a good kid from the wrong side of the tracks to get a great opportunity based on God given talent, and it's a story that never gets old. The series is inspired by NFL player Spencer Paysinger. Diggs play said football player's coach. The series stars some talented up and comers.

Sept. 26th @ 10pm on ABC-- A Million Little Things-- Perhaps the most talked about new series of the season, A Million Little Things is about a group of friends brought together after getting stuck in an elevator. Time passes, and then one day Jon (one of the friends in this group) kills himself. The group is left to pick up the million shattered pieces of their lives after losing the friend who they believed to be the most stable. Jon's death is a wake up call to the rest of them, a sign that they must continue living.

Oct. 3rd @ 10pm on CBS-- Criminal Minds-- The 14th season picks up where season 13 left off; the premiere is also the 300th episode. When we left the team, Garcia had been kidnapped, and Reid figured out what happened, and had to decide whether or not to take a shot that would potentially hit Garcia. Luke Perry will reprise his role as cult leader Benjamin Cyrus in the season opener. The kidnapping and the serial killer cult will be traumatic for Reid.

The Voice Season 14: The Final 4 Perform

Kyla Jade sang With a Little Help from My Friends by The Beatles-- Kyla deserves to be in the finale, she's outstanding. Blake said Kyla if you don't win the Voice, why do we call this show the Voice?

Britton Buchanan sang Where You Come From by Britton Buchanan (original song)-- All the coaches were on their feet. Risky to do your own song but it might work out in his favor.

Brynn and Kelly sang Don't Dream It's Over by Crowded House-- I was mixed on the song choice here.

Spensha Baker sang Merry Go 'Round by Kacey Musgraves-- This was such a clever song choice, I honestly hope it works out for her, she is my pick to win this. Blake said that's why she was my save in the playoffs and that's why she's in the finals.

Britton and Alicia sang Wake Me Up by Avicii and Aloe Blacc-- Side note.... I loved this!

Kyla Jade sang The Last Tear (original song)-- I didn't love this original too much, it was dragging too much. Kelly said that the songwriters must be crying right now.

Spensha and Blake sang Tell Me About It by Tanya Tucker-- This was awesome too! They sound awesome together, they should honestly record a song together.

Brynn sang Walk My Way (original song)-- Didn't love the song but Brynn delivered it to the best of her ability. Adam said I can't believe you're 15, it's impossible. I really don't believe it, it's astounding. It would be impressive for a 30 year old to do what you've done and you're half that age.

Kyla and Blake sang Only Love by Wynonna Judd-- I understand the song choice but didn't love it.

Britton Buchanan sang Good Lovin' by The Rascals-- Wow, all the coaches are on their feet. Performance quality was like times 100! It was crazy, he is a complete performer and artist. Alicia said you set the whole place on fire.

Spensha Baker sang Old Soul (original song)-- Actually liked her original song. This was so cool, I felt Spensha's confidence and heart in this song.

Brynn Cartelli sang Skyfall by Adele-- For some reason I felt like she went sharp throughout that performance. That is my fave Bond song so a little disappointing.

My prediction---
4. Brynn Cartelli
3. Kyla Jade
2. Britton Buchanan
1. Spensha Baker wins The Voice

The Voice Season 14: The Top 8-- Here They Go Again!

Team Kelly: Brynn Cartelli sang What the World Needs Now by Jackie DeShannon-- I still think Brynn is so talented and such a front-runner but I found some weakness in the vocals somehow. Blake said she has mastered the art of performance.

Kaleb and Pryor sang Hillbilly Bone and Hillbilly Deluxe--

Team Alicia: Jackie Foster sang Here I Go Again by Whitesnake-- That is one of my favorite rock songs and I loved Jackie taking that on! Her vocals are awesome; I want to see her make a rock record. Adam liked how tonight she had fun on stage. Jackie said she took his advice because he told her that. Alicia said that performance validated her sense for freedom and abandonment.

Spensha and Kyla sang Rise Up and What's Going On--

Team Adam: Rayshun LaMarr sang Imagine by John Lennon-- Rayshun gave an original performance of Imagine, I loved that although this song is so iconic he made it his own, but honored the melody and legacy of the song. Kelly said you make everyone escape from what they are thinking about when you sing. Adam said you're the last man standing on my team. That was a truly inspired version of that song and I believe John Lennon would be so proud of that performance.

Team Blake: Spensha Baker sang My Church by Maren Morris-- My Church is one of my fave country songs that has come out in recent memory. I always love hearing different interpretations of the song. Spensha made it her own but stayed true to the roots of the song and I think that's the key to success on any singing show like this. Blake said everything she's been holding back this season, the dam just broke on that performance. He said he will be shocked if she is not in the finale.

Team Blake: Kyla Jade sang Let it Be by The Beatles-- Kyla's vocal was so poignant. That song is always touching, but Kyla was so invested and I felt every word. Alicia said Kyla had an iconic superstar performance. Blake said I have never been more honored to be associated with a person and a vocalist in 14 seasons like yourself. You may have just won The Voice with that performance.

Britton and Brynn sang 4-5 Seconds and You Can't Always Get What You Want--

Team Kelly: Kaleb Lee sang It Is Well With My Soul-- Kaleb's performance was pure. It was an emotion filled vocal. Kelly said Kaleb killed it and has dying to sing this song since the beginning of his journey on The Voice.

Jackie and Rayshun sang Believer and Radioactive--

Team Blake: Pryor Baird sang Change the World by Eric Clapton-- The thing I like about Pryor is that no one else sounds like him. He's so unique! Kelly said your ache is so rad, you believe in what you're singing about. Blake said America is in love with you because you're an amazing singer and you're really like the guy next door.

Team Alicia: Britton Buchanan sang The Rising by Bruce Springsteen-- I can tell Britton truly loved singing this song. This was another inspired performance! BIG! He made a huge leap when it mattered, but will it be enough? Alicia said I continuously feel blessed to be working with you. This was a piece out of what you wanted to say to the world. That was so far beyond your years.

My Top 4: Jackie, Spensha, Kyla, and Britton or Pryor

American Idol: Who Will Be in the Finals?

Carrie Underwood Songbook:

Michael J Woodard sang Flat on the Floor by Carrie Underwood-- He was direct in his delivery, I wanted a little more attitude but in general I loved it.

Gabby Barrett sang Last Night by Carrie Underwood-- I loved Gabby singing this, she kept doing something where she was cutting off the ends of phrases. I wanted her to extend that.

Cade Foehner sang Undo It by Carrie Underwood-- I understand why he chose that but I didn't think it was the best performance. I didn't feel he connected with the song at all.

Caleb Lee Hutchinson sang So Small by Carrie Underwood-- I did like this song for him, and he did seem connected to it. My only argument here was that his voice was very nasal.

Maddie Poppe sang I Told You So by Carrie Underwood-- I liked her rendition of this, very similar to Carrie's, clearly her voice is so unique. She continues to be the most consistent contestant

Mother's Day Tributes:

Gabby sang I Have Nothing by Whitney Houston-- Wow! Gabby did that song so well, she made it her own. I was shocked at how amazing she sounded.

Cade sang Simple Man by Lynard Skynard-- Now that was a song that he was connected to. That was real and raw and just perfect.

Michael sang Still I Rise by Yolanda Adams-- Such a moving performance, that was so powerful. His voice, I don't even know how to describe it. Lionel said you are anointed.

Caleb sang Stars in Alabama by Jamey Johnson-- The judges all commented on the uniqueness of his voice. So true, and this song was exactly the type of record he should be recording.

Maddie sang God Only Knows by The Beach Boys-- What a cool song choice! I love this, she made it so special.

Wow! Tough.... I think my top three is Michael, Gabby, and Cade

Well, I was 1 for 3! I have to say I am disappointed because Michael to me was the strongest performer in this competition. He was also the most consistent, never gave one bad or weak performance.

Cade.... with him, there hasn't been an authentic rocker that good on Idol since forever.

The Voice Season 14: The is The Top 10

Team Blake: Kyla Jade sang This is Me from The Greatest Showman-- I could tell that Kyla's performance was so personal to her. The song choice was spectacular. Alicia said you are a goddess who shows everyone what's possible. Blake said I love you, and we not only heard your message, we felt it.

Team Kelly: Kaleb Lee sang Boondocks by Little Big Town-- I think that was his most passionate performance to date. It was authentic, he was feeling it, and so was I. Adam said that was phenomenal, the growth from the beginning to now is incredible. You've really come into your own. Kelly said he is such a good dude, and a solid singer and we're finally getting to see that.

Team Adam: Jackie Verna sang Love Triangle by RaeLynn-- Everyone is stepping it up tonight. This was her best performance to date! I feel like all these songs are so personal to the contestants. Blake said the message of that song and your delivery of it was incredible. That song hits home for me and so did your performance. Adam said you know that I love, sometimes a subtle, refined vocal can get lost, and I hope it doesn't get lost, and it gets rewarded.

Team Adam: Rayshun LaMarr sang Grant Green by Mr. Jukes-- It didn't seem possible for him to give a more energetic performance but he did so tonight. I loved the song choice for him, and Kelly and Adam's comments were right on. Kelly said I have never had so much fun watching anyone. You are such a special spirit, you're pure joy. Adam said you separated yourself from the pack in such a profound way.

Team Blake: Spensha Baker sang Red by Taylor Swift-- O-M-G! I love this, Spensha is a complete star, this was a perfect and amazing choice. Why is she not already a star?! Adam said it's amazing, some people can sing all the notes possible but they don't connect. What you do is exactly what you should be doing, your instincts are amazing, I am a huge fan of yours. Blake said I was thinking that was your best performance so far. You're going to make country music history, you're going to be a star, and I cannot believe I could to be a little bitty part of that.

Team Alicia: Jackie Foster sang Gravity by Sara Bareilles-- Stunning performance by Jackie! Alicia said I thought it was a perfect moment and I know it was hard to hold it together for you. You showed us that you're strong, and I was totally riveted and taken into your world.

Team Alicia: Britton Buchanan sang What's Love Got To Do With It by Tina Turner-- Oh wow! Britton just stepped up his game times ten. I am loving him tonight. He completely transformed the song, amazing! Who will go home tonight because no one deserves to! Adam said Britton my heart has been broken for so long cause you're not on my team. It would be petty of me not to vote for you cause you're not on my team. Alicia said two years from now, you're going to be mind blowing. You smashed that!

Team Alicia: Christiana Danielle sang Ain't No Sunshine by Bill Withers-- I love how she put her own spin on this song. It got a little out of control but overall I liked this. Kelly said your body is like a living and breathing orchestra. Alicia said you're such a unique and special being. Your instincts are spectacular, you own it.

Team Blake: Pryor Baird sang My Town by Montgomery Gentry-- Pryor continues to have such a distinct voice. Adam said I am super into your voice. Blake said I want to see you go beyond number three on iTunes this week. Blake thinks he could win.

Team Kelly: Brynn Cartelli sang Fix You by Coldplay-- Brynn continues to be poised beyond her years. Her performance was actually not her best to date, but I could tell the performance was ethereal for her. Kelly said it's amazing to hear someone as young as you sing and give us that message. You were born to sing.

I thought everyone stepped up their game tonight but look for Jackie V, Rayshun, Pryor, and Christiana to be in some trouble.

The Voice Season 14: The Top 11 Are Perfect! (well nearly)

\Team Blake: Pryor Baird sang Night Moves by Bob Seeger-- This was such an awesome song choice for Pryor. Such a soulful choice! I completely loved this performance! Kelly says you are so comfortable on stage and that's something that cannot be taught. Blake says Pryor has momentum building on the show right now.

Team Adam: Sharane Calister sang Hero by Mariah Carey-- Love Sharane's voice but this was a little flat for me, not much dynamics. There were some pitch issues toward the end of the performance. Alicia said you did this song beautifully and in your way. Adam said I was scared cause this is a big song.

Team Kelly: Kaleb Lee sang T-R-O-U-B-L-E by Travis Tritt-- I think Kaleb could be a country star but definitely needs to work on performance quality here, he's done it in the past. Blake loved what he did with the song. Kelly said Travis Tritt is one of her favorite make country singers and he nailed the song.

Team Alicia: Jackie Foster sang Love Reign O'er Me by The Who-- Jackie's range in this song was crazy. I have always been a big fan of hers. I feel like this performance was a little dark but she made it work. Adam said I'm glad you got that song, it was yours. Alicia said I loved the energy you created, that was sick.

Team Adam: Jackie Verna sang Strawberry Wine by Deana Carter-- I've been a big Jackie V. fan from the beginning because I just love the way she carries herself. I agree with Blake, interesting song choice, but she sounded great. Blake said he never would have thought of that song for her. Adam said she is one of the best singers on this show, and that she is so classy.

Team Blake: Kyla Jade sang Sweet Sweet Baby by Aretha Franklin-- So far, performance of the night for me. This was amazing! Hell-a-good! The coaches were standing. Alicia said Kyla I cannot take it, you're so phenomenal and inspiring. Kelly said you are a lucky man! Blake said you have gone from being afraid to stepping out of the background to being comfortable to standing in front of the stage to dominating the show this season.

Team Alicia: Christiana Danielle sang Umbrella by Rihanna-- I liked how Christiana took creative license. At points it seemed like too much and her voice seemed strained. Alicia called her lovable and unique.

Team Kelly: Brynn Cartelli sang You & I by Lady Gaga-- Gaga is no joke, especially in this song. Brynn, at 15, yes, I have to emphasize her age, was a pro up on that stage. She improvised and was so impactful with her vocal. Kelly said Brynn you're so captivating, confident, and comfortable. You are beautiful and so talented.

Team Adam: Rayshun LaMarr sang Try a Little Tenderness by Otis Redding-- Everyone is on their feet. That was so amazing and energetic. I feel Rayshun through the TV every time he is up on that stage. It's like I am standing there in person watching him. He transports me every time! Adam said last week, this dude was in the bottom 2, tonight he is number 1. Adam said all the coaches stood up before he stopped singing, you're unstoppable!

Team Alicia: Britton Buchanan sang Perfect by Ed Sheeran-- I thought this was one of his strongest performances to date. To me, this is the vibe and style of music he should be doing. The fans chose a good song for him. When you're up on the stage, you're the real deal, it's just you and that voice; congratulations you killed it.

Team Blake: Spensha Baker sang Better Man by Little Big Town-- Spensha is so different. Her originality is just so needed and wanted in country music. Kelly loved her warm, round, and soulful sound. Blake said something that broke my heart was when you said you had given up on music. Blake said you are so important to music and country music. You being here is proof that you are doing what you're supposed to do right now.

Bottom 2: Sharane and Christiana

American Idol: Who Made it to the Top 7?

Top 7 in no order....

Caleb Lee Hutchinson

Gabby Barrett

Michael J. Woodard

Cade Foehner

Maddie Poppe

Catie Turner

Jurnee

Wow, very interesting to me that the judges' choices from last week were the same people in the bottom four! That is kind of sad to me because Ada, Jurnee, Dennis, and Michelle are all phenomenal.

American Idol: It's Disney Night for the Top 10!

Maddie Poppe sang The Bare Necessities from The Jungle Book-- Lionel said I hope you're having a lot of fun. Katy, dressed as Snow White, said I am so proud of you, I loved how you took on all those new notes. Luke said your voice feels timeless to me. I think I most align with Luke. I didn't love the song unfortunately but I do think Maddie's voice is timeless.

Jurnee sang How Far I'll Go from Moana-- I love how Jurnee connected with that song. It came from such an honest place. Katy said she seemed connected and strong. Luke said keep believing and dreaming, stay uplifted and positive. Lionel said you were singing from your heart and not your head.

Cade Foehner sang Kiss the Girl from The Little Mermaid-- I totally loved that! This is a completely different side of Cade. I am so used to hearing him sing big rock songs and this was so controlled. I loved this version of the song. Luke said with everything you're giving, you can bring the rock and roll genre back. Lionel said you have instant identity in spades. I love what you're doing. Katy said I feel like the only person in the room, and whoever she is, she's the luckiest. I didn't even know you had that in you.

Ada Vox sang Circle of Life from The Lion King-- Powerful song and I enjoyed seeing and hearing Ada's spin on the song. It was classy and strong. Lionel said it is so special to have you on this show. Katy said you embodied Ada Vox tonight.

Michelle Sussett sang Remember Me from Coco-- For me, that was her best vocal in this competition thus far. I think Idina's advice really helped her. I loved that she used her heritage and incorporated that into the song.  Katy said the sound was a priority for you tonight. You are a star, and no matter what happens, I am not going to forget you. Luke said you nailed it, you have shown us you are a singer. Lionel said your true identity just came through, I love that you owned who you are.

Gabby Barrett sang Colors of the Wind from Pocahontas-- Lionel said she has star quality! Simple as that, no need to mention anything more. I thought her performance was gentle but strong, heartfelt and technically flawless. This was so beautiful, she deserves to move forward in this competition.

Michael J. Woodard sang Beauty and the Beast from Beauty and the Beast-- So stunning, he had me in tears. This was truly so uplifting and heartfelt to watch. Oh my gosh, my heart feels so full. Lionel said I love you so much. Katy said my angel, you make my heart smile. You fit between a Michael Jackson and Frank Ocean. Luke said you've been magical, just be you buddy.

Caleb Lee Hutchinson sang You've Got a Friend in Me from Toy Story-- This was the perfect song choice for him, exactly what I envisioned when I heard Disney night. I feel like I can definitely see him having a career in country music. Katy said it was the perfect choice for you, and friendly. Luke echoed Katy's sentiment. Lionel said that voice is so identifiable.

Catie Turner sang Once Upon a Dream from Sleeping Beauty-- I feel like Disney night and what it was all about fit Catie perfectly. Lionel said you are clear that dreams do come true. Katy said the growth and evolution has been magical. Luke said they stole my words.

Dennis Lorenzo sang Can You Feel the Love Tonight from The Lion King-- I wasn't sure about him doing this song, but this was so good. The vocal was on point. He was connected to song, the message; he drew from his own life experiences. Luke said you knocked it out of the park, you always do. Did Katy comment on his performance?

I have no idea who is going home or who should? This is crazy!

The Voice Season 14: The Top 12, One Night Only!

Team Adam: Rayshun Lamarr sang When Love Takes Over by David Guetta-- I love Rayhsun's energy! This was such a joyful performance, I want to hear him more, great song for him. Alicia said your passion takes over you and your talent is not to be denied. Adam said Rayshun amps it up more every week. You are the best performer in this group.

Team Kelly: Kaleb Lee sang Amazed by Lonestar-- I do enjoy Kaleb's voice but I thought this was a little bit redundant for me, it's almost like I wanted him to sing something else. I agree with Kelly, he has great tone and texture in his voice. Blake thought it was an amazing performance. Kelly said I have been such a fan of Kaleb since the blinds. I love that you picked this song, people relate to you, you're real.

Team Alicia: Jackie Foster sang Toxic by Britney Spears-- This was not my favorite Jackie Foster performance but what I loved about it is that Jackie stayed 100% true to herself as an artist. I liked the darkness of the arrangement and the way she styled it, I think sometimes though, it leaned too far from the original for me. Kelly said I love you and dream of these moments, sexy and cool. Alicia said I've been so excited about this because this is who you are and what you do.

Team Blake: Spensha Baker sang Down on My Knees by Trisha Yearwood-- That was just so soulful! I loved that, she's kind of like a country Whitney Houston. Adam said she sings with intention and soulfulness; you just have it all. Blake said I swear you're one of the best I have ever worked with. He said you're doing exactly what you're meant to do singing country music, I'm so proud to be associated with you sis.

Team Alicia: Christiana Danielle sang Say Something by A Great Big World-- Her vocals were pretty on point, there were some slip ups but in general a good performance. Again, I am always skeptical when a song deviates too much from the melody. Kelly said the low tones in your voice are magical. Alicia said I am so excited for America to get to continue to vote for you.

Team Kelly: D.R. King sang White Flag by Dido-- I initially thought it was an odd choice, but as he started singing I understood. I stuck with him. I just think he's so different. Blake said there are so many different sounds to your voice, you have such range, and so many layers. You always display all of those every time you're on the stage. Kelly said you're such an amazing vocalist, I need to hear the record you're going to make.

Team Adam: Sharane Calister sang In My Blood by Shawn Mendes-- One of the best performances of the night. This was the perfect song for her and it just came from such an honest place. Alicia said Sharane, there is something so powerful about you, there's a sadness but also a resilience. You're incredible. Adam said you have the ability to make people believe that you're telling the truth, you get us to come with you on the journey that you're on.

Team Blake: Pryor Baird sang Pickin' Wildflowers by Keith Anderson-- Pryor is always so boss on the stage. He brings it every single time, and he is so original and distinct. When I hear him, I'm like I know it's Pryor. Kelly said I feel like every time you sing you have such a great time. Blake said Pryor is to a song like a bulldozer is to trees. He said it's magic every time you're on the stage.

Team Kelly: Brynn Cartelli sang Up to the Mountain by Patti Griffin-- I did not love the way she ended the performance but she did prove to me that she deserves to be here. She really stepped it up this week with her vocals. Alicia said you're not quitting your daydream, it's such a mystery how it all comes together. Kelly said you have such crazy eclectic taste in music and you sing all of it so well, it's so crazy.

Team Adam: Jackie Verna sang I'm With You By Avril Lavigne-- Adam, nice call saving Jackie! She stepped up the game tonight! I loved this, what an amazing song choice and such a strong performance and crazy vocal range. Blake said you come with that country angle with that song. You're a great singer sis. Adam said in a weird way, I had to make this crazy decision and I chose you because of the explosiveness in your growth. That is such a hard song to do live, and you rose to it.

Team Alicia: Britton Buchanan sang Small Town by John Mellencamp-- Britton is another person I initially wasn't crazy about. Once again, major step up, great song choice. Kelly said you're like the coolest person ever, you're so old school. You were born to be on stage. Alicia said you don't need this stage, you don't need anybody, your destiny is to be here.

Team Blake: Kyla Jade sang One Night Only by Jennifer Hudson-- Kyla's performance was worldly and magical. Blake said J Hud was texting me a few minutes ago about how excited she was to be watching this. This is your moment and your time.

Christiana, Kaleb, and Britton might be in some trouble tomorrow. Who do you think is moving forward and who is going home?

American Idol: The Top 14 Perform

Caleb Lee Hutchinson sang Midnight Train to Memphis by Chris Stapleton-- I agree with Luke, I didn't the song was the best for him, but I think this was a good performance. Not great, I think he could do better, but I think as he evolves and settles, he will do better. Katy said I think you can't believe you're here. I'm blown away by your evolution. Luke said he loves him but wasn't crazy about the song. Lionel said the girls started screaming and you forgot about the song, grow into being you, it will come in time.

Michelle Sussett sang Friends by Marshmello and Anne Marie-- Michelle sold this performance, it's on the radio now but she put her own spin on it. I loved her vocals, I think she has actually improved so much. Luke said you became a pop star tonight, you carved out that lane even more. Lionel said its about owning your song and presentation, you owned it! You have us attitude. Katy said your song choice should have played to the at home viewers more. What is she talking about? I completely thought it played to everyone.

Marcio Donaldson sang It's a Miracle by Barry Manilow-- He definitely had fun and owned the performance. I didn't love the song choice for him. I wished he had chosen something that wasn't as dated. Lionel said keep developing, keep growing, you're on fire. Katy said you're inspiring so many people back home. Luke said I wasn't totally sold on the song choice, but good on you for showing us another style.

Mara Justine sang This is Me by Keala Settle-- Wow, she is super emotional throughout the whole performance. Her nerves are very surface tonight. Her voice is strong and I think the vocal was more controlled but she seemed on the verge of tears the whole time. Katy said you didn't arrive vocally til mid song, but you have grown in so many other ways. Luke said I wasn't totally emotionally invested in that performance. Lionel said at 16, what was I doing? You are bringing your inner strength forward in that performance.

Garrett Jacobs sang Raging Fire by Phillip Phillips-- I actually like this song choice for him, and he seemed to enjoy himself on the stage. My only argument with Garrett is that he has to work on his vocals cause he's not the best vocalist on the show which means he has to work extra hard to sell himself in different ways. Luke said he was the first performer to look truly comfortable tonight. Lionel praised his growth and development. Katy said she agrees with Luke.

Ada Vox sang The Show Must Go On by Queen-- I actually didn't love this. I liked the vocal but it was a little too dramatic. Katy's comments are off tonight, she says this is the first performance where she felt like someone showed up.

Catie Turner sang Take me to Church by Hozier-- This is disastrous for me. I don't like the song, her pitch is all over the place. Lionel and Katy are standing. Someone is tone deaf, and it's not me. Luke said you can win this thing. Lionel said you're authentic to yourself, there's nothing else like you. Katy said that she wants to sing with Catie someday.

Cade Foehner sang Black Magic Woman by Santana-- There's something about Cade that oozes authenticity. Loved his song choice, the guitar, the whole bit; he was so comfortable on stage. Lionel said you are the complete package. Luke says my wife loves you. Katy says my mom is really obsessed with you and she goes up on stage and gets a lock of Cade's hair for her.

Dennis Lorenzo sang In My Blood by Shawn Mendes-- I love that he chose a popular contemporary song. I could see Dennis doing this song right now. The beginning was a little slow but when he hit the chorus of the song, he really came alive, and all his passion came out. What a real and raw performance, and it says "raw" on the back of this jacket. Lionel felt that Dennis broke through tonight and now has to take it to the next level. Katy thought it was a shaky start but she became a believer. She also talked about how Dennis has so many sides to him and compared him to Chris Cornell. Luke said that was amazing.

Maddie Poppe sang Homeward Bound by Simon & Garfunkel-- I loved this, her vocal was truly timeless. There was such an attention to detail, the way she phrased and her vocal nuances. The judges hug at the end of her performance. Katy said you have incredible musical taste. Luke said he prays that everyone watching feels what he feels right now. He said she is so seasoned and such a pro, I agree. Lionel said we're not a business of singers, we're a business of stylists. Lionel said you may be a winner on American Idol. Katy said she thought that she was listening to Joni Mitchell.

Jurnee sang Bang Bang by Jesse J, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj-- I don't think this was the best song for her to do, but I do applaud her effortlessness. She truly makes everything seem easy in terms of singing and performing. Luke said thank you for showing us another element and another side of you. Lionel said that Jurnee is really bringing it. Amy said I see you as an artist now.

Jonny Brenns sang This is Gospel by Panic at the Disco-- This song is ambitious. I think it's a little bit bigger than he is, but the performance is still fun, he's enjoying what he's doing and that makes everyone feel that way also. Lionel said when you love what you do, it's infectious. Katy said I want to hear you sing more, you've grown so much. Luke said you came in here as this loungy sultry singer, and you go after it.

Michael J Woodard sang Titanium by Sia-- WOW! All the judges are on their feet, as they should be. That performance was absolutely captivating, gorgeous. Katy said I am going to tell Sia, I met a star today who sang your song incredibly. Luke said I have felt in my heart since day one that people are going to love you. Lionel said I keep waiting to see what you do next, you are a star my friend. He thanked the judges for telling him to stay himself.

Gabby Barrett sang The Climb by Miley Cyrus-- Gabby is my fave female vocalist in this competition. She presents as so confident and strong. She knows exactly who she is as an artist. I love that her singing this was not a karaoke of the original song, she put her own signature on it. Luke said that was my favorite vocal of the night, for the first time, I feel like you're not playing around. Katy said you sounded like a star, I was really impressed. Lionel said there are things in this business that are magical and we are watching one of those moments, a star is born.

The contestants with videos posted are my top 10.

I think unfortunately, Caleb, Garrett, Ada, and Catie are going home.
