The Voice: Season 7, The Finals

Coach's Choice:

Team Adam: Damien sang A Song for You by Donny Hathaway-- There was a lot of heart in that performance. I don't know if it was his best performance but it was sincere. Blake said he hit everything full volume and full force; incredible and great. Pharrell said the way that you sang that song takes me to church, and I'm so proud of you. Gwen said that song was amazing and it feels like your record. Adam said you were so comfortable and this was one of your best performances.

Original Song:

Team Blake: Craig Wayne Boyd sang My Baby's Got a Smile on Her Face-- I loved the authenticity of Craig's vocals and Blake is right, it seemed like the song found its way to him and was meant to be recorded by him. Pharrell congratulated him and said welcome to your future. Gwen said Craig is going to be touring for a long time. Blake said that song was meant for you.

Duets:

Team Adam: Chris and Adam sang Lost Without You by Robin Thicke-- One of the hottest performances I have ever witnessed, seen, heard on The Voice. Amazing choice, crazy vocals, sexy performance. I loved this, can I buy it? Please. The coaches are on their feet!

Original Song:

Team Adam: Matt McAndrew sang Wasted Love-- This seemed like a song that Matt would legit sing. It was his style, the message was clear, and it was a solid performance. Gwen thought it was a great song for him and it was really inspiring. Adam said that he and Matt have been working together 24/ 7 on that song, and he said you were amazing. You're so special, I'm so proud of you, I'm on the verge of tears, I love you.

Duets:

Team Blake: Craig and Blake sang Boots On by Randy Houser-- That was such a country rock and roll forever performance.

Duets:

Team Adam: Damien and Adam sang Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me by Elton John and George Michael-- Adam's song choices are spot on tonight, this is another great choice. The vocals were solid, passionate, and original. The runs were awesome.

Original Song:

Team Adam: Chris Jamison sang Velvet-- I don't love this song, but I like the vibe of the song. The song, once again, was in the style of the artist. I am reminded of how American Idol has done a not good job with original songs. I could see Chris recording this. Pharrell said a star was born on this show, this year. You have changed and you have grown, I cannot wait to see what happens with you. Adam said I love all three of you so equally, and so much, you make me so proud.

Duets:

Team Adam: Matt and Adam sang Lost Stars by Adam Levine from the movie Begin Again-- Another amazing performance. I loved the sincerity and heart in this performance. It was very vulnerable and thought provoking. Adam and Matt's voices sounded good together.

Coach's Choice:

Team Blake: In Pictures by Alabama-- I agree with Blake, this was a great choice for Craig because it's so honest. Gwen said Blake's going to take you on tour. You're going to make an album, and it's going to be incredible. Pharrell said you picked the right song for him. Blake said this song is a perfect statement for where you are in your life.

Original Song:

Team Adam: Damien sang Solider-- This is an awesome original song for Damien. It truly fits him so well, and he dressed it up so well with his vocals. All the coaches were on their feet. Adam said I am bursting with pride. You have stayed strong and true to who you are.

Coach's Choice:

Team Adam: Chris sang Cry Me a River by Justin Timberlake-- Wow, Justin Timberlake cleared this song for Chris to sing it. I've been wanting him to sing it since week one. He killed it, it was exciting, haunting, and he is my pick to win this. The coaches are all on their feet. Adam said, Chris my young Jedi, welcome and congratulations.

Coach's Choice:

Team Adam: Matt McAndrew sang Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Judy Garland-- That performance was so majestic. What a great song choice and Matt's voice came through so pure on that. Gwen said she loves seeing him grow. Pharrell said you're so magical, you walk through walls and classifications. The world cannot get enough of artists like you. Adam said that was so bittersweet and perfect.

The Voice Season 7: The Top 5 Sing for the Finals

Songs Chosen by The Coach

Damien sang She's Out Of My Life by Michael Jackson-- That was a sick vocal. Damien just had so much control, emotion, and skill. Pharrell said your story never gets old. Gwen said, doing Michael Jackson is super dangerous, but your emotion was gorgeous. Adam said you are the most coachable guy and thank you for your trust in me. You did an unbelievable job with that song. Thank you so much.

Craig Wayne Boyd sang Workin Man's Blues by Merle Haggard-- I can't wait to see what happens with Craig Wayne Boyd. I just think he has so much star power. It's beautiful to see. Pharrell said that's the kind of performance you see from someone who knows who they are. Gwen liked how he worked the stage and it was great. Adam said it's hard for you to know who you are at times, and I think it's great that you know that and no one else does anything like what you do. Blake said you're one of the best singers I've ever heard in my life.

Taylor John Williams sang Falling Slowly by Once-- I could hear people cheering and I really wanted to like it cause I like that song, but it didn't sit in his sweet spot. It was like the lows were uncomfortably low, and the highs were too high and it wasn't balanced well. Adam liked it. Blake liked the range he displayed; I felt like it wasn't quite there. Pharrell liked the creative license he took when performing.

Matt McAndrew sang Make It Rain by Ed Sheeran-- Another unreal vocal with all the coaches on their feet this time around. The vocal was just so strong, and it literally gave me goosebumps when he went into his full voice. His full voice is literally SICK; there are so few people that have that strong of a full voice. Blake called his performance Grammy worthy. Pharrell called him a star. Adam said you astound me all the time. You can literally do anything,

Chris Jamison sang Sugar by Maroon 5-- The falsetto got away from him a tiny bit but he reigned it back in. His vocal was strong. I loved how the crowd lit up as he performed. Blake loved Adam's new song. He said your falsetto is so good Chris, the party starts and the room changes. Adam said that he is so proud of Chris, he said he continues to rise to the occasion.

---------------------------------------------

Damien sang I Don't Wanna Wait by Paula Cole-- Damien still performed that song well but for some reason I didn't love that song uptempo with that arrangement. I feel like he made it work. Pharrell said your voice is second to none and I loved the message you communicated. Gwen thought it had a Peter Gabriel vibe to it. Adam said he is so glad to be a small part of his journey.

Matt McAndrew sang I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For by U2-- I loved that performance. U2 is always a beast to sing cause Bono is legendary, and Matt just slayed it. It was so good, that particular song is an anthem. Blake said what you do throughout the whole song is what some people hope to do in a certain part of it. Pharrell said Bono would be so happy and so proud and so congratulatory. You killed it. Gwen said she was sobbing and called his voice rich and magic. Adam said I don't know what to say, but I don't need to say anything. Wow.

Craig Wayne Boyd sang Old Rugged Cross by Alan Jackson-- Coaches were all on their feet again. What a sincere and heartfelt performance that Craig gave. Pharrell said going through everything you've gone through what does it feel like to be at the top of your game. Gwen said she was crying again, you're always looking up and always seem so grateful. Adam said it was awesome, and it was a brilliant idea to show them the scope of who you are. It was special and we felt that. Blake said I'm so happy for you, you gave such a passionate and epic vocal tonight.

Taylor John Williams sang Blank Space by Taylor Swift-- I liked it, and he did display nice artistry, but I almost felt it veered too much from the original. I do want to give him props for his vocals though. Adam said great job, and he liked how he reworked the song. Gwen said it was a case of Taylor being Taylor and she felt like he had a great night.

Chris Jamison sang When I Was Your Man by Bruno Mars-- Goodness gracious, I am impressed and that vocal was so genuine that it made me cry. There was just so much emotion and his vocals were spot on. Gwen said that was my favorite performance and I can tell that you love singing. Adam said I am so proud of you and the amazing progress you continue to make. I always hesitate to do a Bruno tune cause he's so amazing but tonight it was all about your version of that song.

Top Three-- My Prediction:

Chris Jamison
Craig Wayne Boyd
Matt McAndrew

Wild Card-- My Prediction:

Gotta be-- Damien

The Voice Season 7: The Top 8 Rise to the Challenge and Then Some

Team Gwen: Ryan Sill sang Open Arms by Journey-- I like Ryan, and I admire his fight. The runs were strong, but the performance overall was a little bit sleepy. It was almost like he didn't know what to do with the middle of the song. Adam thought he killed it and hasn't deserved to be in the bottom three. Blake thought it was his best performance yet. Pharrell said he continues to improve. Gwen said she is so proud of him and he deserves to be here.

Team Blake: Craig Wayne Boyd sang Take it Easy by The Eagles-- Craig is a seasoned performer; he got the crowd going like a pro. The performance was not lazy by any means, the vocal was strong, and it's like this was his song, and he's been performing it his whole life. All the coaches were on their feet. Pharrell said this is your show, people love you for being you. Gwen said I felt like I was at the country music awards, and you were a professional there. Adam said hell yea man, you have a great coach.

Team Pharrell: DaNica Shirey sang These Dreams by Heart-- For me, this performance was not a good one, look for DaNica to possibly go home. Gwen liked the song choice for her. I actually didn't like it, her voice cracked at one spot and I didn't like it for her. Adam thought it was amazing. What is this love fest that's going on here?

Team Adam: Damien sang Someone Like You by Adele-- All the coaches are on their feet once again. Damien continues to surprise me, he was so emotional singing that yet he was so in control. It's amazing. Blake said I'd swear you were a machine if you didn't have so much passion. Pharrell said you do it every week, you paint the air with those notes. Gwen said that was so beautiful. Adam said you put so much faith and trust in me, he wanted to do this song for years, and this was his best performance yet.

Team Adam: Chris Jamison sang Sexual Healing by Marvin Gaye-- Loved this performance. He was so natural up there on the stage, his vocals were right on. The crowd was cheering like no one's business. Adam was on his feet, Gwen was blushing. Pharrell said that was your best performance on the show, you got lost in the intention of Marvin Gaye. Adam said you're like Luke Skywalker. You did Marvin Gaye's song with so much love and so much respect, and you just crushed this audience.

Team Pharrell: Luke Wade sang Holding Back the Years by Simply Red-- I thought this was a great song choice for Luke, but I didn't care for the arrangement of the song. It did not allow Luke to showcase his voice. Adam said I'm a Luke Wade fan since day one. He said I want you to stop thinking. Blake thought it was vibey and really good, but there weren't a lot of big moments. Pharrell said I love you being on my team, and I just want to keep going with you.

Team Gwen: Taylor John Williams sang Royals by Lorde-- I loved that performance, it was so smart, so original, and he really brought more meaning to the song. Blake said he respects how he puts his stamp on every song, and called him 150% pure artist. Pharrell said you are an original, super soulful hippie, you're something else. Gwen said I really enjoyed that, it was amazing.

Team Adam: Matt McAndrew sang The Blowers Daughter by Damien Rice-- Matt McAndrew has continued to give strong performances throughout this entire competition and just when you think he can't take it to another level and elevate things even more, he does. His vocals and his originality are something else. All the coaches were standing once again. Blake said I have never heard that song before and I want that to be my introduction to that song, it was so good, freakin brilliant. Adam said that he adores Matt and was proud of him that he was able to exude the pain of being in a relationship in a song.

My Top 5 Prediction (in no order): Craig Wayne Boyd, Damien, Chris Jamison, Taylor John Williams, and Matt McAndrew

The Voice Season 7: The Top Ten Sing and Rock It

Team Adam-- Advisor: Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy
Team Gwen-- Advisor: Christina Aguilera
Team Blake-- Advisor: Colbie Caillat
Team Pharrell-- Advisor: Diana Ross

Team Adam: Matt McAndrew sang Fix You by Coldplay-- Matt has such serious rock star qualities, and I loved how he brought the audience into his performance. His voice was powerful at points, but then he got quiet and the dynamics were unreal. Blake said you're so good, you have drama, range, and stage presence. Pharrell said I know you're a star. Gwen thought the last note was amazing. Adam said you can do everything, but you're so humble and talented.

Team Gwen: Anita Antoinette sang Let Her Go by Passenger-- Little bit of a weird song choice, I thought it was weird how they played up a reggae vibe with this. It was too bouncy. Pharrell said the way to shine is to just have fun. I can agree with Gwen that she did make the song her own, I just feel like it took away from the meaning of the song.

Team Adam: Damien sang You and I by Stevie Wonder-- This was another solid Damien performance. My only critique at this point in the game is that I would like to see Damien change it up because I know he can sing this kind of song. Stevie is a great choice for him because Damien can keep up with that. All the coaches were on their feet and Adam said he felt the audience get on board with this performance.

Team Blake: Reagan James sang Fancy by Iggy Azalea-- Adam liked Reagan's commitment to her song, and he thought it was her best performance to date. Blake said the breathing techniques, the pocket, you were doing two people's job. I appreciate the difficult of this song, but at the same time, it wasn't one hundred percent the right choice for her. I found it messy because what she was doing was so hard.

Team Pharrell: Luke Wade sang Try a Little Tenderness-- This wasn't his best performance, but I liked what he did with this song. I like how Luke is someone who is soulful but you don't expect it. Pharrell was on his feet at the end of the performance. Gwen liked how he worked the stage, and liked how Pharrell arranged the song for Luke.

Team Blake: Craig Wayne Boyd sang I Walk the Line by Johnny Cash-- I absolutely adore Craig as a performer. He is so true to country music, and he's just genuine and authentic in his delivery. This was an amazing take on a classic with killer vocals. Pharrell said you know who you are and you're not afraid to represent that. Gwen said you're a star and you're gonna have a whole career after this. Adam said you're so crazy good, amazing. Blake said that was magic, you deserve this moment.

Team Gwen: Ryan Sill sang Starlight by Muse-- Ryan continues to impress me, this was another impressive performance. The song choice was so right for him, and his vocals were strong. Adam said you were in the bottom three last week, I don't think you deserved it. I feel like you're figuring out who you are, and you're going to continue to have a career after this. Blake felt like it might have been his best performance yet. Pharrell called him the most improved performer. Gwen felt like he is blossoming as an artist before our eyes, and she's so proud of him.

Team Pharrell: DaNica Shirey sang I Have Nothing by Whitney Houston-- DaNica seemed so passionate about singing this song, but some reason it seemed like the music was off when she entered the song. She might have entered a shade too early. It's almost like she was so eager to start that it wasn't spot on. Blake and Pharrell were on their feet. Gwen said it was fun to watch. Blake said this is the best live show I've ever seen, the performances are unbelievable. That's a big song and you just killed it. Pharrell said every week she continues to ascend and he is so happy for her.

Team Gwen: Taylor John Williams sang Come Together by The Beatles-- Everything about this performance was genius. I could not take my eyes off him. His style and attitude, the way he styled his vocals and made the verses characters was so perfect. This is the optimal example of picking a song that fits you. Adam said nice to see the beastly dude come out, and I love that song. Blake said I loved seeing another side of you tonight. Pharrell said, bro, one of the craziest performances we've seen, rock-star. Gwen said I was so worried and I didn't want you to do that song, but you just have such an instinct about yourself. If I was 15 right now, you'd be all over my locker. You're not even wearing socks right now, that's how cute you are.

Team Adam: Chris Jamison sang Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson-- The performance was energetic, it was a strong vocal. There were lots of vocal acrobats in there, the dips into his falsetto were awesome. Blake said the atmosphere was great and you did a great job of staying up to that energy level, he thought he sounded great. Pharrell said he shows that he wants this, and he took it higher than before. Gwen liked how he worked the whole stage and felt he had good rhythm. Adam said Bruno is incredible and the song hearkens to a different time, and he thought Chris did awesome.

Look for DaNica, Damien, Anita, and Reagan to be in the bottom-- the rest are moving on for sure.

The Voice Season 7: The Top 12 Live and Impressive

Team Pharrell: Sugar Joans sang Take Me to the River by Al Green-- I didn't love this performance, it just didn't feel authentic to me. Gwen thought she was incredible. Blake liked the edge to her voice and that it kept him on the edge of his seat. Pharrell is proud of how she followed through. This just wasn't memorable for me, and at the end of the night, that's not a good thing when you're up first.

Team Gwen: Ryan Sill sang Ordinary World by Duran Duran--  Breakout performance for Ryan, loved the song choice, loved the vocal. All the coaches are on their feet. This was a deal breaker. Adam said, cool song choice for you. I said from the beginning that you are such an amazing singer. The big notes were ridiculous, rock and roll is the way to go, you just killed it. Pharrell said, you have it, rock for sure. Gwen said I was so excited to hear you sing that and you have come so far in such a short time. I seriously give him, on a scale of one to ten, an 11.

Team Blake: Jessie Pitts sang Don't You Worry Child by Swedish House Mafia-- I liked how she made this song her own. The lyrics really took on a different meaning, and you could tell that she was connected to the song. Gwen liked hearing that song broken down like that, and loves her voice. Adam liked it a lot, he said, keep exploring the big part of your voice. Blake said Jessie works harder than anyone else I have ever worked with on my teams. She's an artist and an inventor, she takes stuff and makes it her own, and you can't teach that.

Team Adam: Damien sang He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother by Donny Hathaway-- Wow, another amazing performance by Damien. I think every single person in the audience was on their feet. Damien just sings with so much emotion and sincerity, it is so easy to love and appreciate an artist and vocalist like him. Blake said congratulations, great performance, great song choice. Pharrell said that performance was Southern church. Adam said, I told you to trust me. You blew the audience away with that song, I could not be any prouder.

Team Pharrell: DaNica Shirey sang Creep by Radiohead-- I think her voice sounded great, however, I didn't care for the arrangement of the song. It was a little too bouncy for such a depressing song. Gwen said she loves watching her sing. Adam said you're so good that everything you sing is gonna be amazing. Pharrell said it moved me to hear you sing this song.

Team Gwen: Taylor John Williams sang If by Bread-- As an artist, I love Taylor. I thought I heard his voice crack in one spot, but I do love him, and I think he does his this very original thing about him that's amazing. Adam loved hearing the purity of his voice. Blake thinks that dark thing that he has is to his advantage; you always sound great. Pharrell loved the vocal. Gwen thought it was beautiful, and it was so emotional and so you.

Team Blake: Reagan James sang It Ain't Over Til It's Over by Lenny Kravitz-- Not loving this song choice for her, the vocal is a little bit lazy. Blake said the way you navigate a melody blows my mind. You showed everyone out there that you don't just copy everything, you put your stamp on everything.

Team Pharrell: Luke Wade sang -- Another amazing Luke performance. I love him, I cannot figure out who he sounds like, but his vibe is awesome. Apparently he came in early when the song started. Adam said he handled it like a professional. Gwen felt that the mistake made him more human. Pharrell thought he rose to the occasion.

Team Adam: Matt McAndrew sang Take Me to Church by Hosier-- Adam and Pharrell were on their feet. I loved that, another solid performance from a Team Adam peep. This was awesome, I loved the grit in his voice. Blake said he couldn't hear him well, but thought it was awesome. Pharrell said I cannot wait to hear the album you're gonna make after this show. Gwen said this seems like the type of song that you would do.  Adam said the way you finished that song, that's someone who wins this show.

Team Blake: Craig Wayne Boyd sang You Look So Good in Love by George Strait-- I enjoy watching this Southern gentleman work the crowd every single week, and just impressing people with his gift. Gwen said it was so good, and he's such a professional, really good. Pharrell is glad to have someone like Craig on the show with southern rock roots. Blake is excited, and thinks that this is another break out moment on the show.

Team Adam: Chris Jamison sang Jealous by Nick Jonas-- Woah! I loved that performance, that was another break out performance tonight. The falsetto was amazing, the crowd was screaming the whole time. He was just really made to sing that song. Pharrell said it was his best performance, and he said the falsetto was effortless. Gwen said it seemed like it was his song, and she is so happy for him. Adam said you're cute, but you're also a talented singer.

Team Gwen: Anita Antoinette sang Redemption Song by Bob Marley-- Anita's vocal and the feeling behind her performance literally gave me chills. That was ridiculously inspiring. Adam said you have to feel really good tonight Anita, I feel like that is one of the most important songs ever written. Blake said sister, there is something about your voice that is so beautiful, calming, and relaxing. Gwen said I feel blessed to be a part of what you did.

Who is moving on?

Team Pharrell-- Luke Wade and DaNica Shirey
Team Gwen-- Anita Antoinette and Ryan Sill
Team Blake-- Craig Wayne Boyd and Jessie Pitts
Team Adam-- do you think all of them could go through please? This is unjust.

Team Gwen, all is well, this is who I expected to move on
I actually agree with Adam's team despite the fact that the public thought Taylor Phelan should move on instead of Chris Jamison

The Voice Season 7: Disappointing Night for Team Gwen and Team Pharrell

From Team Gwen: Ryan Sill sang I Lived by One Republic-- Adam says Ryan has always been one of his favorites. Pharrell enjoyed watching Ryan come out of his shell. Gwen said she feels so emotional about him as an artist. I like Ryan because he clearly wants to be there and he shows it every week. You can't ask for more than that. He is positive, and every week he grows and becomes better.

From Team Pharrell: Jean Kelley sang Piano in the Dark by Brenda Russell-- Gwen and Adam both mentioned how dramatic and theatrical it was. Pharrell tried to be positive because Jean is on his team. This performance was a mess for me, it was way too over the top. I also think that the song choice was wrong for her. It sounded like she was pushing all the way through the performance. She may have just bought her ticket home.

From Team Pharrell: Elyjuh Rene sang Latch by Disclosure featuring Sam Smith-- Gwen loves how in control he is.  I love all the different things that Elyjuh did with the melody. He hit the high note and then the band kicked in and he came alive, it was full force. I've always loved his ad libs because they seem so natural. Adam says it's unbelievable how good that was and he calls Elyjuh and front Sy flat performance for me. I am unsure why this song was chosen for her. Blake feels like she grew as a singer and in the performance. Gwen says you're so adorable which means she did not do very well.

From Team Pharrell: Luke Wade sang Let's Get it On by Marvin Gaye-- Strongest Team Pharrell performance of the night. This was a great song choice for Luke, but then again, he sounds amazing in almost every song he sings. I loved the timing throughout the performance, the injections of soul were amazing. Gwen thought Luke was incredible. Adam called him ridiculous. Blake told Luke that he chased the melody of that song like a cat and mouse game. He said that some people in the audience got it on.

From Team Gwen: Anita Antoinette sang All About That Bass by Meghan Trainor-- I enjoyed that Anita brought a different flavor to the song and she continues to be a strong and confident performer despite the fact that she struggled with this. Adam liked how confident she continues to be. Blake said that she owned the moment. Gwen loves her natural personality.

From Team Pharrell: DaNica Shirey sang Help Me by Joni Mitchell-- I didn't get song choice for DaNica. However, I do believe she has one of the best voices in the competition. Adam says she turned Joni Mitchell into Chaka Khan. Blake noticed her amazing breath control. Pharrell said she showed the world what she can do with her voice.

From Team Pharrell: Sugar Joans sang I Say a Little Prayer by Aretha Franklin-- I love Sugar and I love her voice. Unfortunately, with this performance, there were a lot of points where she sounded like she was screaming. I love that song but she almost went sharp singing it. Gwen called it church. Blake called it the best performance of the night. Pharrell is so proud of her and felt every moment.

From Team Gwen: Ricky Manning sang Lay Me Down by Sam Smith-- I agree with Adam, I think that at this point in the competition, Ricky is the most improved. I do think this song was a little bit of a reach, that being said, he pulled it off with passion. Blake thought his voice was in control, and he called it a solid and beautiful performance. Pharrell said he deserves his place on the show.

From Team Gwen: Taylor John Williams sang Stuck in the Middle with You by Stealers Wheel-- This young man is the real deal. I loved how he completely reinvented a song that I actually found annoying, until I heard his version. The song had a bluesy feel and his vocal was extremely smooth. Adam liked the way he changed up the song and able to show his artistry. Blake thought that the half time thing he did really worked.

My predictions on who I think it going forward.

on

Team Gwen:
Top 2: Anita Antoinette and Taylor John Williams
Gwen will save-- this is a toss up between Ryan Sill and Ricky Manning

Team Pharrell:
Top 2: Luke Wade and Elyjuh Rene
Pharrell will save-- DaNica Shirey

The Voice Season 7: The Live Shows Team Adam and Team Blake

From Team Blake: Taylor Brashears sang Long Time Gone by The Dixie Chicks-- Adam liked her confidence that is so cool to watch. Pharrell likes that she is a nostalgic throw back style to her, and Gwen talked about her effortlessness. Blake said her personality comes together with her voice and her sound, I actually really liked this. I found Taylor a little bit weak in past rounds but she came out and proved why she deserves to be in the lives.

From Team Adam: Chris Jamison sang Don't by Ed Sheeran-- Blake thought he did a great job. Pharrell liked his performance. Gwen likes the way he performs and uses his body up on the stage. Adam liked the way he contained the song and how controlled and balanced that it was. I loved Chris because I can recognize just from listening to that song on the radio how difficult it is to sing; he did it justice. Chris also has his own style which is refreshing, I can hear him on the radio now.

From Team Blake: Jessie Pitts sang Holding Out for a Hero by Bonnie Tyler-- Adam said she has a lot to be proud of. I wasn't too thrilled about this performance, it was a little bit old fashioned for me

From Team Blake: James David Carter sang Two of a Kind by Garth Brooks-- Pharrell said you owned the performance, I loved it. Gwen said your voice is so beautiful you already sound like you recorded. Your face is working the room, you're natural and professional. Adam said congratulations, another great one, Blake's an idiot but you're awesome. Blake said I can always count on you to be my rock, you always do great. I loved this song choice for James, and agreed with Gwen's comment, he does sound like he has already recorded. His voice is so perfect.

From Team Adam: Matt McAndrew sang God Only Knows by The Beach Boys-- Blake said that was sung perfectly. Pharrell said that was awesome, Brian Wilson fans and Matt McAndrew fans are super pleased. Gwen said it's a risky song and you have so much personality and uniqueness. Adam said you're fearless, unique, sincere, and you blow me away every time, you're just incredible. Again, another great song choice. Matt's voice was so clear in this performance. I loved what he did with the song, he stayed try to the style but put his own signature on it.

From Team Blake: Reagan James sang Try by Colbie Caillat-- Gwen said it touched her that Reagan listened to her, and she loved how she sang and played the guitar effortlessly. Blake said you're one of the most important artists we've ever had on The Voice. Thank you for bringing that type of emotion to this show. I thought it was a heart felt and sincere performance. I thought that it could have been her song, the lyrics fit her well, nice song choice Blake!

From Team Adam: Taylor Phelan sand Cool Kids by Echosmith-- Pharrell said he is so proud of Taylor. Adam said you keep impressing everybody and I cannot even believe that you were available for me to steal. This song was Taylor's wheelhouse, it expressed who he is as an artist.

From Team Adam: Mia Pffirrman sang Young and Beautiful by Lana Del Ray-- Blake said your voice is perfect for that type of performance. You held it together. Pharrell said you were the star of that performance and it was your essence. Adam said Mia was so receptive to what he told her. He could hear the tone of her voice and is super amazed with what she did. You should be super confident and happy about what happened. I loved the way that Mia made this a very sweeping version of the song. It was totally gorgeous.

From Team Adam: Damien sang I'm Not the Only One by Sam Smith-- Blake said you can combine a soft smooth voice with power and range. He said great song choice. Pharrell said your voice goes up and down, it's amazing. Gwen said you have truth in you that is speaking to everyone, you're amazing. I'm blessed to sit and watch that. Adam said the whole country felt that performance. Damien took it to a whole other level, everyone should honestly be on their feet. This guy has such emotion every time he comes out and performs, it's just not real.

From Team Blake: Craig Wayne Boyd sang Some Kind of Wonderful by Gerry Goffin-- Pharrell said I told you when I met you stay on your path, keep going. Gwen said you look awesome, you sounded amazing. Blake thought it was the performance of the night, there was so much power, muscle, and stage presence. I can't believe I got the chance to have you back, you beat the odds every time. I love how Craig is so original and he marches to his own beat, it's truly awesome. His voice does have just so much power in it.

Predictions:

Team Adam:
Top 2: Matt McAndrew and Damien
Adam will save-- Wowza, toss up between Chris and Mia. I'd go with Chris

Team Blake:
Top 2: Reagan James and James David Carter
Blake will save-- Craig Wayne Boyd, he's not losing him twice

The Final Knock Out Rounds Take Place on The Voice: Season 7

Team Blake's Allison Bray singing Sin Wagon by The Dixie Chicks versus Taylor Brashears singing Landslide by Fleetwood Mac-- Gwen thought that they were equally talented but she would lean toward Taylor because of her tender tone. Adam said he would lean toward Allison because she made him believe in a song that he had never heard before. I wasn't completely sold on either lady, although I would give it to Allison because she had more conviction.

My opinion: Allison
Winner: Taylor

Team Gwen's Ryan Sill singing Miss Independent by Neyo versus Beth Spangler singing Too Little Too Late by Jojo-- I was so impressed with Ryan, he really listened to Gwen and Taylor Swift. He also sounded really good, I loved the falsetto notes he was hitting towards the end of the song, it was so masculine. I thought that Beth's song choice was excellent, she had some great runs, but she didn't beat Ryan. Adam liked Ryan's ease, rhythm, and tone. Blake said dead tie, and Pharrell agreed. He said that Ryan needs to emote more and emphasize how tough what he is doing is, and he said that Beth is less of an R&B artist and more of a country artist.

My opinion: Ryan
Winner: Ryan

Team Pharrell's Jean Kelly singing Chandlier by Sia versus Menlik Zergabachew singing Could You Be Loved by Bob Marley-- Menlik completely committed to that performance, he sang like he really had something to say, and I believed him. Jean's performance had so much sheer emotion, there was so much passion behind her words. It was gorgeous. Gwen thought Jean's performance was haunting and intense. She thought Menlik showed growth and his personality came out and she heard things that she never knew he had. Adam said he feels anxiety and relief when Jean sings, and felt that Jean and Menlik both have something special. Blake said he loves when Menlik performs and loves how dramatic Jean is when she performs but he would choose Menlik.

My opinion: I cannot choose, I really want both of them to go through for completely different reasons.
Winner: Jean (I think Menlik will get signed, amazing reggae artist)

Team Adam's Blessing Offor singing Your Body is a Wonderland by John Mayer versus Chris Jamison singing Sitting on the Dock of the Bay by Otis Redding-- I loved Blessing's performance because he did change the song a great deal, but for me Chris won this with the power behind his performance. He continues to impress me each time he sings. He continues to grow which is important to do in a competition like this. Blake said there is something special about Blessing. Pharrell thought Blessing had the crowd going, but he would give it to Chris because he didn't expect that out of him. Gwen loved the way he changed the song, and was impressed with how Chris modernized the song he did. Adam said Blessing can sing anything. He said Chris's song choice was courageous, and he would almost expect their song choices to be flipped.

My opinion: Chris
Winner: Chris

Adam chose Matt McAndrew singing Drops of Jupiter by Train. He competed against Rebekah Samarin.

Team Blake's Grant Ganzer singing Apologize by One Republic versus Reagan James singing Hit Em' Up Style by Blu Cantrell-- Gwen thought that what Grant did was so tough going from high to low. She cautioned Reagan to be herself. Adam said he really liked Grant and thought he was very much like him at that age. Blake said Grant doesn't sound like anyone else. Blake said Reagan is artistic and he wishes he were more like that. I actually leaned more towards Grant in this because I liked that sheer rock power that he showed, and I think that's who he wants to be. Reagan is beyond her years and obviously ready to take it to the next level.

My opinion: Grant
Winner: Reagan

Team Gwen's Anita Antoinette singing Rude by Magic versus Craig Wayne Boyd singing Can't You See by The Marshall Tucker Band-- Adam loved how masculine the song was and he wrestled it to the ground. He loved seeing Anita's growth from the previous season. Blake thought that both Craig and Anita did a great job. I loved the flavor that Anita injected into the performance, she just had so much sass and attitude. The song suited her well, but the way she changed it made it amazing. Craig's performance was so strong, I love the authenticity behind his musical style, the control in his voice and the rock runs, wow! Love both of them and hope Craig gets stolen back by Blake.

My opinion: both
Winner: Anita, and Craig gets stolen back by Blake

The Voice Season 7: The Knockouts Continue to Amaze

Team Gwen's Taylor John Williams singing Mad World by Tears for Fears versus Troy Ritchie singing Hey Ya by Outkast-- I absolutely loved Troy's performance, that was ridiculous, his vocals were right on. I liked how it started slow and then exploded into a party anthem. I agree with Blake that Troy won that. I think technically Taylor knows more who he is as an artist but that doesn't take away from the degree of difficulty that Troy put forth.  Adam said Troy you were amazing, funny, and cold; it was bold. Taylor, my mind was blown. Blake said, Troy you were so much fun and technically is was a harder song, I give it to you. Pharrell said that Troy showed character, and Taylor your performance was so hypnotic, the runs seemed like they were part of the song.
My opinion: Troy with a steal for Taylor
Winner: Taylor, so sad Troy didn't move on :-(

Team Adam's Alessandra Castronovo singing Next to Me by Emili Sande versus Mia Pffierrman singing Human by Christina Perry-- For me, Mia won this hands down. I felt like she was more connected with her song and she took all Taylor Swift's notes in rehearsal well. Blake liked Mia's song selection, and I was shocked Blake would go with Alessandra. Adam said he is proud of Alessandra, and Mia is more polished and comfortable and further along in knowing who she wants to be.
My opinion: Mia
Winner: Mia

Team Pharrell's Elyjuh Rene singing With You by Chris Brown versus Ricky Manning singing Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus-- I loved Elyjuh's performance, his tone is just amazing. What he did with the song was give a masterclass in singing and tone. His signature was all over it with the scatting and flourishes that he added in throughout the performance. Ricky's performance was powerful, I wasn't expecting all that from him, pleasantly surprised. I want both to move on! Adam said a star is bring born about Ricky. Pharrell said because there is more work to be done, I am going with Elyjuh. Someone steal Ricky! Gwen stole Ricky and said, I feel like I might have just won The Voice.
My opinion: Both
Winner: Elyjuh, with a steal from Gwen for Ricky....... Nice!

The Voice Season 7: The Knockouts Provide Some Knock Out Performances

Team Gwen's Bryana Salaz singing Heart Attack by Demi Lovato versus Sugar Jones singing Love on Top by Beyonce-- Bryana took Taylor's notes well and allowed the performance to be understated til the end. Then she belted it at the end and it sounded amazing. Sugar sounded so on point throughout the entire performance and Love on Top is not by any means an easy song to sing. The key change was seamless. I was surprised because Gwen ended up choosing Bryana because of how she grew in the competition. Pharrell lives up to his promise and stole Sugar. Pharrell, I agree with you my friend, she's old school soul.
My opinion: Sugar with a steal for Bryana
Winner: Bryana with Pharrell stealing Sugar

Team Blake's James David Carter singing You've Got a Friend by James Taylor versus Grffin singing As Long As You Love Me by Justin Bieber-- I liked Griffin singing this song but I expected him to do even more with it than he did (even though he did more than Bieber). I expected him to pull out a big note and he didn't. Like Blake, I was skeptical of James' choice but he proved to me that he could take a classic song and bring it to the present. Gwen called James' performance believable and said it gave her goosebumps. Adam said Griffin's performance was a man's version of that song. Blake said he was wrong about doubting James on choosing that song.
My opinion: James
Winner: James

Team Pharrell's Danica Shirley singing Saving All My Love For You by Whitney Houston versus Katriz Trinidad singing Superwoman by Alicia Keys-- Taylor said Danica's insecurity fuels her talent. Taylor said Katriz's voice is effortless and powerful. Blake said Katriz you stepped up and Danica, you are a perfect singer. Pharrell said Katriz has grown in every performance, and Danica, you're like a unicorn, you've had an incredible transformation.
My opinion: Danica broke through and Adam thinks she has a chance of winning
Winner: Danica

Team Adam's Damien singing How Do I Live by Leann Rimes versus Toia Jones singing Crazy in Love by Beyonce-- Taylor said Damien really got her and he is so vulnerable and so strong. Taylor said play on the "crazy" part of the song. Wow, Damien's performance was so genuine and heartfelt. I absolutely loved how he breathed so much R&B influence into the song, almost personalizing it to himself. Toia's runs were amazing, and she just full out performed the song. Blake, Pharrell, and Gwen said they would go with Toia. Adam said that both of them made great song choices and were fantastic.
My opinion: Damien with a steal for Toia
Winner: Damien (no steal for Toia :-( )

Team Blake's Jessie Pitts singing Your Song by Elton John (Ellie Goulding version) versus Tanner Linford singing Calling All Angels by Train-- Jessie had such a beautiful performance. Tanner is impressive for a young man his age, but Jessie's purity in vocal makes her my choice. Pharrell said both of them have bright futures but he would give it to Jessie. Gwen thought Tanner gave a great performance, and Jessie was off the charts. Adam said Jessie is only going to get better. Blake said Tanner you're a good singer and a presence, I'm proud of you. Jessie you sound like you've already been produced when you sing into the microphone.
My opinion: Jessie
Winner: Jessie

Team Pharrell's Luke Wade Rich Girl by Hall & Oates singing versus Taylor Phelan singing Rather Be by Clean Bandit-- Taylor said I want to hear Luke on the radio, I want to buy his album, I can't even describe his tone to you. T-Swift urged Taylor to put down the guitar and he performed much better. Wowza! Luke's performance was so kick--ass! I loved every single moment, there was so much soul and Luke's signature was all over the performance. I love Taylor's song choice and I do like how he put his own spin on a song that is popular right now. I enjoyed both performances, I give the edge to Luke but I think Taylor is going to get stolen. Adam said I don't think there's a winner, it's apples and oranges and you two are the best apples and oranges this show has.
My opinion: edge to Luke, Taylor gets stolen
Winner: Luke, and there's a 3 way steal for Taylor. Taylor chose Adam because he has wanted to get him on his team every single round.

The Final Battles of Season 7.... Bring on the Knockouts

First battle of the night was Team Pharrell's Brittany Butler versus Ricky Manning singing On Broadway by George Benson-- I felt like this was one of the most awful song choices that they have ever had during a battle round. Pharrell ended up choosing Ricky because he connected with the song more.
My opinion: Don't care
Winner: Ricky Manning

Team Blakes's Kensington Moore versus Reagan James singing Team by Lorde-- This was a battle that I loved. I loved Reagan, she sounded amazing. Gwen liked Kensington's dynamics and thought Reagan was even better than before. Adam liked how Kensington's voice cut and felt like Reagan acted like a popstar.
My opinion: Reagan James
Winner: Reagan James

*Montaged Battles*
Winner: Anita Antoinette from Team Gwen
Winner: Bryana Salaz from Team Gwen
Winner: Allison Bray from Team Blake
Team Adam's Beth Spangler versus Mia Pfirrman singing I Turn to You by Christina Aguilera-- Blake said that they were both divas. He loved Mia's raspyness and liked the country in Beth's heart. Blake would go with Mia and Pharrell would go with Beth. Adam felt they both delivered on a tough Christina Aguilera song. Gwen Stafani ended up stealing Beth as she hugged her goodbye.
My opinion: can both move on?
Winner: Mia and Gwen stole Beth with the final steal of the battle rounds.

The Voice Season 7: The Battles Are Fierce

Team Adam's Damien versus Kelli Douglas singing Knock on Wood by Eddie Floyd-- This is a tough one, I like both of them. I think Kelli took her notes from advisor Stevie Nicks. Damien sounded like an old school rhythm and blues singer. I loved his confidence and how he threw in  little embellishments along the way. Adam said he was proud of both contestants and commented on how the whole song is pocket and that's where they were.
My opinion: Damien but someone should steal Kelli
Winner: Damien

Team Gwen's Jessie Pitts versus Ryan Sill singing I Need Your Love by Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris-- Blake said Ryan, your pitch is perfect, and Jessie you did a hell of a job. Adam said I think this was a better song for Jessie, and I think Ryan prevailed because it was tougher for him. Gwen said you were both a pleasure to work with, your attitudes were both wonderful and you touched me in my life. I agree with Adam, I think Jessie went in as the front runner, and Ryan really showed himself. He stepped up, and the song was tougher for him. I don't think it discounts Jessie's talent though.
My opinion: Ryan with a steal for Jessie
Winner: Ryan, and Blake stole Jessie

Team Pharrell's Blessing Offor versus Katriz Trinidad singing Do I Do by Stevie Wonder-- Hearing that song, there was lots of interesting stuff going on. It made me want to listen to the original. Adam told Katriz she rose to the challenge. Blake said it says a lot that Pharrell handed you both that piece of music. Pharrell thought they were both winners but he went with Katriz.
My opinion: Katriz, and another steal
Winner: Katriz, Adam and Gwen both went for the steal with Blessing, Blessing chose Adam

Team Adam's Ethan Butler versus Matt McAndrew singing Yellow by Coldplay-- These two sound like a dream in rehearsal. I almost wish that they were not going up against each other cause I'd like to see both of them come out of this. I can tell that both of these guys are giving this performance everything they have because they truly love their craft. It was one of my favorite battles, I don't care what the coaches say. Blake said you guys could be a duo, you work that well together. Pharrell said Matt, it's your wheelhouse but Ethan, you surprised verme. The way you approached the top note was different for both of you, but equally beautiful. Gwen said, Matt you're magical and Ethan you took it like a man considering it was so out of your zone.
My opinion: Can they become a duo?
Winner: Matt

Team Blake's Bree Fondacaro versus Taylor Brashears singing You're No Good by Linda Ronstadt-- Blake said Bree's lower register is hypnotic and Taylor's higher voice is impressive. Blake chose Taylor to move forward. I think I agree. I was unsure who I would choose but I think Taylor could turn into a solid country singer. Pharrell liked Taylor's confidence and old soul.
My opinion: Taylor
Winner: Taylor

Team Pharrell's Danica Shirley versus Toia Jones singing Halo by Beyonce-- Blake said Toia was incredible. Adam said it was like they slayed a dragon and then they knocked it out. Pharrell said both of them let go, and put everything out there. He said he wishes he could choose both of them. I would choose Toia because I felt like her voice was so expressive.
My opinion: Toia
Winner: Danica, Adam and Gwen got in on the steal for Toia, and she chose Adam because he turned for her in the blinds.

Battles Continue on Season 7 of The Voice

Team Pharrell's Jordy Searcy versus Taylor Phelan singing Break Even by The Script-- For some reason, I do not remember Jordy. I like Taylor's voice a lot. They're a well matched team but Taylor's voice is so impactful. Blake said there is something special about Taylor. Adam admires how much Jordy has improved but likes Taylor's stage presence.
My opinion: Taylor
Winner: Taylor

Team Adam's Alessandra Castronovo versus Joe Kirk singing Stay by Rihanna-- I love Joe! He is so good and so talented. Alessandra has some weird inflections in her voice that make it sound like her voice is going to crack. It just makes her sound a little bit off. In rehearsals, Joe is the stronger and better singer. I will admit that in the battle they are both excellent. I would still choose Joe though. Blake said Joe gave the most beautiful vocal he has ever heard. Pharrell commented on Alessandra's beautiful voice and the fact that Joe has a great career ahead of him. Someone should have stole Joe!
My opinion: Joe over Alessandra with a steal for Alessandra
Winner: Alessandra

Team Blake's Grant Ganzer versus John Martin-- Grant wins.
Team Adam's Rebekah Samarin versus Clara Hong-- Rebekah wins.
Team Blake's Tanner Linford versus Justin Johnes-- Tanner wins

Team Gwen's Menlik Zergabachew versus Troy Ritchie singing Maneater by Hall & Oates-- For me, Troy wins this battle because his style is great on this battle. However, I need to say that Menlik definitely deserves a steal! I love the rhythm that these guys brought to the song. Adam says he is a moron for not turning for Troy and says these two have made the biggest leap of the blinds thus far. Blake says it was the best battle of the day. Pharrell says he didn't realize that Troy is as great as he is. He says Menlik shined in that battle. Gwen said it was a hard decision and she wishes she could put them in a blender and make one of them and Adam said, that sounds horrible, don't you dare hurt them!
My opinion: Troy wins, Menlik gets the steal
Winner: Troy wins and Adam and Pharrell go for the steal on Menlik who ends up choosing Pharrell

The Voice Season 7: Let the Battles Begin

Team Pharrell's Elyjuh Rene versus Maiya Sykes singing If I Ain't Got You by Alicia Keys-- I must say that I loved both of these contestants and I was upset that they ended up competing against each other because to me, they should both go through to the next round. Elyjuh is more what Adam called ethereal, and it's so true. He showed so much emotion in that performance and really went for it. He took risks and it paid off.
My opinion: Pharrell picks Elyjuh, Maiya gets stolen

Team Adam's Chris Jamison versus Jonathan Wyndham singing Young Girls by Bruno Mars-- Blake said either one of you is the winner of this battle. Pharrell felt Jonathan is sure of who he is and thought that Chris was killing it and would lean towards him. Gwen felt they worked together well and liked Chris's stage presence. Adam feels like Chris is more of a superstar and went with him. I agree there is something really impressive about Chris.
My opinion: Chris
Winner: Chris

Team Gwen's Jean Kelly versus Sugar Jones singing Survivor by Destiny's Child-- I think Jean won this battle for me because her voice was strong. Sugar got a little too low and growly for me, and I didn't like that. Adam is trying to steal Jean, and said he loves that break in her voice, and blah, blah, blah, "you're on my team". Pharrell said, "you're awesome, I wanna see you in this til the end".
My opinion: Jean
Winner: Sugar, Adam and Pharrell stole Jean and she chose Pharrell

Team Blake's Craig Wayne Boyd versus James David Carter singing Wave on Wave by Pat Green-- Wow, both of these guys were amazing. I loved them both, I honestly wish both go through to the next round. Pharrell called it a draw and knows where each of them would go in their career. Gwen and Adam both said that they couldn't decide who they would choose. Blake said your voice projects with such ease and James your runs are from another planet.
My opinion: Both please, Craig and James
Winner: James. Yay! Right as Craig was about to walk out, Gwen stole him. OMG! So happy.

Team Gwen's Amanda Lee Peers versus Taylor John Williams singing Jolene by Dolly Parton-- Adam said Amanda made him believe it but he is a huge fan of Taylor and nearly cried when he didn't pick him to be on his team. Blake said he would pick Amanda cause of the feeling behind it. Pharrell said Taylor knows what it takes. I agree that in terms of performing, Amanda had Taylor. The passion behind her voice and the words was so evident. Taylor is a talent and a star though so who wins?
My opinion: Amanda for one reason, but Taylor for another
Winner: Taylor

Team Pharrell's Griffin versus Luke Wade singing Maybe I'm Amazed by Paul McCartney-- Those two guys fought it out til the end. I liked how they flipped it slightly but it didn't take away from the melody at all. For me, Luke won this battle. Agree with Adam, Luke has it in this competition, the voice, rasp, everything. Blake said it's one of the best battles that they've ever had on the show, and he picked Griffin to win.
My opinion: Luke wins this, and if he doesn't someone is stealing him
Winner: Luke, Blake and Gwen tried to steal Griffin and he chose Blake (Blake to Adam: You're mean, Blake to Gwen: You shouldn't have done that, Blake to Pharrell: You screwed up.)

The Voice Season 7: The Final Night of Blind Auditions

Matt McAndrew sang A Thousand Years-- Adam said his voice is genre--less. Adam said it's about not being afraid to collaborate. Pharrell said you're the subject of the painting my friend. We're going to do the songs that you want to do. Blake said you're a solo artist, I'm a solo artist, who else can you relate to more than me? Gwen Stefani, you should be ashamed of yourself for not turning around and making that a four chair turn. Matt had a phenomenal voice, and he picked a song that was right in that comfy part of his voice.
Team Adam

Brittany Butler sang The Girl from Ipanema-- Pharrell liked the way she embraced the jazz tune. Gwen said that she turned around quickly and benefited from seeing the whole performance. I liked that Brittany stood out and she was so different from other people on the show.
Team Pharrell

Evan Watson sang The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down-- No chair turns, too bad, hope he comes back.

Ryan Sill sang Secrets-- Blake said there is something laid back and powerful about your voice, you would make my team perfect. Gwen's excuse was that she only has three guys on her team. Blake said, well that goes to show you what she thinks about guys. I definitely thought Ryan would go with Blake. He had a strong voice but it was a little shaky when he went for the high note. Ryan says he chose Gwen because she turned first and saw something in his voice.
Team Gwen

Fernanda Bosch sang I Try-- I liked her version of this song, it had lots of soul, and the key changes were on point. Gwen said they were both teaching swimming at the age of 17 so they have that in coming. Blake said if you wanna swim with each other then pick Gwen but if you wanna win then pick Team Blake.
Team Blake

Beth Spangler sang Best Thing I Never Had-- Adam said I only have one more spot on my team and I pushed my button for you; I want you on my team so badly. Gwen said you have a crazy range, and I can hook you up with clothes. Blake said I fell in love with your voice instantly, and that light you have comes through in your voice. Pharrell talked about how crazy her voice was, and said he knows what to do with her. I was pretty impressed with Beth and I definitely understand why she got the four chair turn. It was a great song choice as well. Adam's team is full.
Team Adam

Erin Kim sang Latch-- Gwen though this voice was pretty but it was too far away from the original. No one turned.

Griffin sang It's a Beautiful Day-- To tell you the truth, I did not love Griffin's voice. It was a little too karaoke and it sounded like he was trying to copy Michael Buble. Very strange indeed, but he turned the chairs of the three remaining coaches. Blake said I like Michael Buble, he is one of my heroes, I think I stalk him, he probably had a restraining order against me. You have so many of the same elements that he has. Pharrell said I'm pretty versatile and I would love to have you on my team. Gwen said your voice is so different and I would love to work with you. Team Pharrell is full.
Team Pharrell

Chandra Knudsen sang Hard to Love-- I love this girl's voice! She is awesome, if no one turns, I am going to be unhappy. Oh man! No one pushed their button.

Mayra Alvarez sang Human Nature-- I love this song, and it's nice to hear a woman sing it, because it's such a classically male song. She has a strong voice, and I love all the vocal acrobats she added to it. Once again, Blake and Gwen both turned. And Gwen won out once again, so it is like the sisterhood of the travelling pants. Team Gwen is full.
Team Gwen

Justin Johnes sang Let Her Go-- So we all know Blake has one more spot, and if he turns, Justin is on his team. Justin doesn't have the best voice, but he does have originality and a lot of potential. Blake made a "Blake's Boo" t shirt for his last contestant. Too funny. Blake says he loves the cracks in his voice and his lower register.
Team Blake

Performance of the Night! Matt McAndrew: Amazing!

The Voice Season 7: Night 4 As the Blind Auditions Continue

Katriz Trinidad sang At Last-- This girl is mature beyond her years, to be 15 and have a voice like that is unreal. I loved the control of hers and the runs were so point. She should have been a four chair turn for sure. Adam what were you thinking? Pharrell says he has been dreaming of a singer like Katriz for his whole career. Blake wants Katriz to pick him because she's going to be a star and they can win this thing.
Team Pharrell

Ethan Butler sang Beneath Your Beautiful-- I liked Ethan's voice but I didn't necessarily like the song choice for him, and I didn't like the arrangement of the song. His voice was really smooth, and I liked how he would every once and a while add little jazz nuances. Blake and Adam turned. Adam claimed that he acted cool and collected so that Gwen and Pharrell wouldn't turn around.
Team Adam

Tanner Linford sang When You Say Nothing At All-- I actually remember Tanner from last year. I wish he had picked a different song, this is a technically tough song to sing. I do see the improvement though. Blake has a lot of work to do, but Blake is the perfect coach for him. Blake being the only one who turned means that it was meant to be. He told Tanner that he believes she shakiness in his lower register was due to nerves.
Team Blake

Roem Baur sang Pretty Woman-- no chair turns

Jean Kelly sang Already Gone-- What I liked about Jean is that her voice is distinct, and she added so much drama to the performance. I love what she did with this already awesome Kelly Clarkson song. She hit some great notes at the end of the song. Blake and Gwen turned at the last minute. The two of them turning for a contestant this season is a pattern. Blake said he felt like she was a real singer when he heard that note at the end. Gwen liked her range, style, and vibe. Jean said growing up she was inspired by Gwen and when she got older she was inspired by the way Blake coaches.
Team Gwen

Chris Jamison sang Gravity-- Very well deserved four chair turn! Chris is so talented. I love how he changed up this song, and to me, made it even better than the original. Blake and Pharrell were on their feet after the performance was over. Adam said he could tone down some of the technical stuff. Pharrell said he got lost in the moment. Blake said he would give Chris the spotlight on his team.
Team Adam

Craig Wayne Boyd sang The Whiskey Ain't Working-- Craig is a full out country rocker. I enjoyed his voice. Blake and Pharrell turned. Blake said he liked how Craig brings an edge to country music. Pharrell liked the growl in his voice.
Team Blake

Tini Grey sang Sara Smile-- no chair turns, this was a little disappointing. I am not going to lie.

Toia Jones sang One and Only--Wow, what a powerful performance. Toia has a big voice, no lie. I love how she looked up to the heavens and God when she finished her performance. Pharrell and Adam turned, and Pharrell loved how she sang from the heart, and how he felt her spirit.
Team Pharrell

Amanda Lee Peers sang Put the Gun Down-- Amanda doesn't have a great voice, but what sells it is her attitude and personality. That sells her performance. No one turns around except Gwen, but this is a match made in heaven.
Team Gwen

Montage...
Gianna Salvato sang Glitter in the Air-- Team Gwen
Rebekah Samarin sang A Case of You-- Team Adam
Grant Ganzer sang Unaware-- Team Blake

Jonathan Wyndham sang Say Something-- The song I will never get sick of hearing, so beautiful. Jonathan's voice is incredibly smooth, another awesome four chair turn. Gwen loved how sincere he sounded, and how as the song went on he became stronger and stronger. Adam said he liked his vulnerability but wanted him to get control of his nerves. Pharrell thinks he should be so proud of himself. Blake felt like Jonathan was telling a story with that song.
Team Adam

The Voice Season Seven : Week Two, Night Three

John Martin sang Sweet Pea-- Little bit of a lame song choice, but he's original. He got everyone minus Adam to turn with Blake turning quite early on. I loved the tone in his voice, his falsetto is lovely. Adam said Blake would be good for you, and that's the first time I've ever said that in the history of The Voice. John actually went with Adam and Blake.
Team Blake

Jessie Pitts sang The Story-- Jessie's voice was sweet, but I feel like Blake chose her for the sentimental value to the song rather than her vocal abilities. I have a feeling she is going to be cannon fodder. Gwen thought Jessie's voice was like an angel. Blake said that was his wedding song and her voice is like a box of lucky charms. I noticed this a long time ago, but Gwen and Blake like similar voices.
Team Gwen, very predictable.

Michael Stein sang The Devil Went Down to Georgia-- It's a shame that no one turned for him because he is talented, particularly as a fiddler.

Ricky Manning sang Love Me Again-- Ricky's voice is boss. I loved it, and his runs were solid and consistent every time which is why Pharrell said he turned for him. I think that they are going to be a great match. Props to Blake for having the knowledge and smarts to turn around for Ricky. Adam admitted that he should have turned, and Gwen probably knows inside that she should have too. This was definitely deserving of four chairs.
Team Pharrell

**
No's....
Mistee Merritt sang You Gotta Be
Jeremy Cole sang I Can Dream About You
**

Kelli Douglas sang Danny's Song-- I am pretty excited that Pharrell passed on her. She seemed nice enough but I did not like the song choice at all. Adam turned almost immediately. Blake told Adam to stop flirting with her. Blake said your voice is haunting and there are some Texas things in your voice as well like those quick breaks in your voice. Kelli said she had to go with her heart so she picked Adam.
Team Adam

Blessing Offor sang Just the Two of Us-- Wow, a four chair turn, a blessing for Blessing! I could feel his emotion as he was singing and I loved the soul in his voice. Adam told him that they all turned around. Gwen said that Blessing's voice had that same great tone that Pharrell's does. Blake said, I think I'm gonna throw up. Adam said I could feel the electricity in this room. You recovered from being a half step off and that gave me so much confidence in you. Pharrell said he loved that he took a country song and sang it in the style that he did.
Team Pharrell

Troy Ritchie sang Out of my League-- I am super surprised that no one else turned around because Troy had a great voice, and I love the song, it's so fun and free sounding. Gwen liked his voice and how seamless it was. She said we're stuck together, you don't even get a choice. Pharrell said you have such a strong voice, and you're perfect with Gwen.
Team Gwen

Cole Wilkinson sang Classic-- Cole was so sweet. I understand why the coaches didn't turn, and I do hope that he comes back next year and tries out again. Pharrell was right, he has rhythm.

Mia Pffirrman sang Unconditionally-- Yay! Four chair turn! Adam and Blake turned first and then Gwen and Pharrell. Blake said it's incredible that you were able to do a performance of that song like that.  Gwen said I want to see who you want to become with a different song. Pharrell said she took chances vocally and she sang like it was her only moment. Mia said she chose Adam because he was persistent and complimentary.
Team Adam

Lightning Round.... so fast I didn't even get it all.....
Alessandra Castronovo sang When Love Takes Over-- Team Adam
Jordy Cercy sang ???-- Team Pharrell
Kensington Moore sang Til the Love Runs Out-- Team Blake

Bree Fondacaro sang It Ain't Me Babe -- Wow, Blake, what a find my man! I thought her voice was haunting and flawless. Gwen said I am looking forward to watching you sing some more. Adam said he always wants to push but he didn't push. Blake said your voice has a rawness to it like Bonnie Tyler, you fit perfectly into my team.

Anita Antoinette sang Turn Your Lights Down Low-- Amazing, back from season three, four chair turn. She was the performance of the night. Gwen said it was so heartfelt and you owned the song. Adam brought up that Tessanne Chin was on my team. Gwen said what have you been doing since Adam and Blake didn't choose you? Pharrell said you're definitely a different artist. Adam said when she picks me I am not giving you up; your head and your heart are in the right place. Wow, I am really shocked that she picked Gwen.
Team Gwen

Standouts tonight? I wish I could choose almost everyone but for me it was Bree and Anita. Wow.

The Voice Season 7: Night 2

Overall, this was another underwhelming night. I don't feel the contestants are as talented as in years past.

Danica Shirley sang Big White Room-- I was underwhelmed with this performance, there
was nothing that stood out for me, nothing special, and therefore, I have to give big props to
Blake for being the only judge with enough guts not to turn around. Danica, prove me
wrong, but this was mediocre.
Team Pharrell because she wanted to make him "happy"

Joe Kirk sang Lego House-- A very deserving four chair turn! I loved this, great phrasing on the lyrics and a sweet voice. He could be Adam's little bro. Adam liked his confidence, Pharrell thought he was a beast, and Gwen liked his tone but told him to loosen up on stage.
Team Adam

Menlik Zergabachew sang Santeria-- I loved the creative liberties he took with this performance. The style of the song suited him well, and then he dropped all these other little nuances into it. It was really nice. Blake turned around very early in the song and Gwen came in at the very last minute. I actually would have picked Blake. He asked Gwen if he would let him do reggae and Blake said he would let him too. Blake offered to make him a drink rather than getting a Team Gwen t shirt. I would have taken the drink personally. Blake called the performance "technically perfect".
Team Gwen

Jimi Milligan sang Get Ready-- No chair turns this time around.

Reagan James sang Give Me Love-- Another Blake verse Gwen battle. Love her voice, she reminds me a little bit of early Gwen with the pitch of her voice. Gwen begs for Reagan to be on her team. Blake says he knows what it takes to win the competition. He loves Reagan's mix of falsetto and full voice. She says R&B is her favorite music but she does right and picks Blake. They are going to be a major threat as a team.
Team Blake

Taylor Phelan sang Sweater Weather-- A four chair turn. I am unsure whether or not this warranted four chairs. I liked the performance and certainly liked how in the zone he was but I would have liked to see another song on him. The judges even gave him a standing ovation. I am obviously a little bit confused this season. Adam pitches that he turned around first. Gwen felt like she was at a rock concert. Pharrell said Taylor's guitar was like part of his body, and Blake said he's never seen someone so locked into stage presence.
Team Pharrell

Caitlin Lucia sang You're the One That I Want-- No chair turns for the lackluster performance.

Sugar Jones sang Chain of Fools-- I wonder if Sugar Jones is her real name? Anyhow, I did like her voice, she has to learn to control the growling because too much of that can be annoying. Gwen and Blake both turned at the last minute, Gwen calling her voice "perfect" and Blake saying that he wants to sing "Me and Mrs. Jones" with her desperately.
Team Gwen

Taylor Brashears sang You Ain't Woman Enough to Take My Man-- Taylor has tons of attitude in her voice and obviously her style would suit a partnership with Blake. Adam and Pharrell turned fairly quickly while Blake said that he wanted to hear the whole song because it's one that is close to his heart.
Team Blake

Andy Cherry sang Everybody Want to Rule the World-- I think he tried to make this too different from the original and that's why no one turned.

Maiya Sykes sang Stay with Me-- I liked Maiya, she seems like an experienced vocalist, and she has a powerful voice. This was a four chair turn with Pharrell on his feet almost the entire time. Blake thinks she can win the show. Pharrell tells her to follow her ambitions. Gwen welcomes Maiya to her team, and Adam reminds Maiya that he has won three trophies. Maiya decides to go with Pharrell because he stood up for her. I am not sure that's a good reason to choose him but I do think this is a good match.
Team Pharrell

The Voice Season 7 Begins Tonight!

Luke Wade sang That's How Strong My Love Is-- Wow, this was a four chair turn? I was not feeling him that much, but way to go to Pharrell. He scored the first contestant.
Team Pharrell

Clara Hong sang Chuck E's in Love-- Again, wasn't wowed with this contestant either but Adam, Gwen, and Pharrell all turned around. Adam spoke in Korean and wrote a poem for her. Pharrell called her voice silk. Ooohhh good luck with this one Adam.
Team Adam

Bryana Salaz sang Problem by Ariana Grande-- This was pitchy all over the place, I am glad you're excited Gwen cause I am not.
Team Gwen

Dennis Bell sang She Used to Be Mine-- I am puzzled, this was the best contestant so far, and no one turned around for him, but turned around for all the other people above. Blake said he had a true country sound. Adam said he felt his pain through his voice.

Damien sang It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday-- Now this guy deserved the four chair turn, amazing. I love this song and loved how emotional he was as he sang. Can you tell this is the first person I am genuinely excited about this season. Gwen gave Damien an embrace as he broke down. Pharrell said he deserved the four chairs. Damien said he chose Adam cause he seemed the most sincere.
Team Adam

Allison Bray sang Merry Go Round-- three out of four (minus Pharrell), and Adam is on his feet. Blake gave her good advice last season to come back and work on her pitch. He said she was a breath of fresh air and she was great, most excited he has been in a long time. Pharrell endorsed Blake. Adam said stay in your lane and let me drive for a little bit. I liked this girl, she sounded almost like a country rocker. She would be really good with Blake. Allison said she came back for Blake, and now she got him.
Team Blake

Megg sang Celebrity Skin-- She has a husky voice, and no one turned around. She actually conjured up Gwen Stefani a little bit. Blake found it dramatic and thought some words needed to be more enunciated. Pharrell thought her pitch was spot on. Gwen liked the aggressiveness in her voice and said that's a tough quality for a woman to have in her voice. Megg confessed that Gwen is one of her biggest inspirations and Pharrell said come back, try again, and Gwen will have you on her team.

Taylor John Williams sang Heartless-- Loved this performance, I can tell that he is an artist and not just a singer. Taylor said he loves lyrics and songwriting. Gwen said she needs to write a new album and being around him could inspire her. Adam said he turned around way before everyone else. Gwen said she is so moved and was so in the moment that that's why she didn't turn around until later. Pharrell said Adam understands your voice, but Gwen understands his future. He said he picked Gwen cause she understood him. Final question-- why didn't Blake and Pharrell turn around?
Team Gwen

Elyjuh Rene sang XO-- Adam turned right away and then Pharrell. I love the purity in his voice and how he added his own little flares and embellishments to the vocal. This was a pleasure to listen to. Adam said he sang with such joy and passion, it was blissful. Pharrell called him anointed. Blake said no one is more competitive than Adam, perhaps a vote of confidence. Elyjuh chose Pharrell, wow, I would have gone with Adam.
Team Pharrell

Bianca Espinal sang Foolish Games-- Disappointing that no one turned around, but I think it was the wrong song for her. Pharrell said what you didn't feel, we didn't feel.

James David Carter sang Nobody Knows-- A well deserved four chair turn. This guy is a the real deal. I really hope Blake gets him cause I think that they could be good together. Standing ovation from all four judges. Pharrell said there wasn't a nervous second in that performance. Gwen said there is no one on my team like you, and Blake is going to have all country singers on his team and then he's going to knock them out one by one. Blake said it was the best country audition he has ever heard. Adam said you can win this thing no problem. James said he had to go with this gut, Blake Shelton.
Team Blake

Lea Thompson and Artem Chignitsev danced a Foxtrot-- Lea impressed me with her first move. Julianne thought it was beautiful and said her lines were spectacular.  Bruno said she needs to maintain her posture and hold. Carrie Ann thought it was one of the best first Foxtrots she ever seen. Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy danced a Jive-- Ooohh, this was fun! She went for it. Bruno said it was spicy hot, naughty, naughty! He felt she went out full energy and he loves sexy. He told her to polish the Jive side. Carrie Ann agreed and said polish the kicks and flicks, but you have great potential. Len liked how it was sharp and clean. Lolo Jones and Keo Motsepe danced a Cha Cha Cha-- This was a little rough, she looked scared and rehearsed. Keo kept trying to bring her out and it wasn't happening. Carrie Ann said uhh ohh. Len told her not to give up because she does have personality. Julianne told her to work on the fluidity with her legs. Bruno said we've all messed it up, he said you messed up, you're gorgeous, come back next week and try again. Scores: 6, 6, 5, 5= 22 out of 40

Betsey Johnson and Tony Dovolani danced a Cha Cha Cha-- Betsey is totally hilarious and she has such a great personality. Len and Julianne said they were sad that it got messed up at the end. Bruno likes that she's a spunky rebel with gusto. Scores: 5, 5, 5, 5= 20 out of 40

Tavis Smiley and Sharna Burgess danced a Foxtrot-- Wow, Tavis Smiley, that was so unexpected. He came out with so much flair. Julianne thought it was awesome and he came out with a different side of him. Bruno said the joyful side bursts out of you, and said it was a great performance. Carrie Ann said you're a natural mover, well done. Len said work on your footwork, but for fun and enjoyment, it was great. Tavis said he has already lost 20 pounds doing the show. Scores: 7, 7, 8, 7= 29 out of 40 .... I liked his, people get the "some" of us, but not the "sum" of us. ;-) ....... then Erin said, some more, and Tom said he wants dim sum.

Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas danced a Cha Cha Cha-- Sadie was so cute and fun. Bruno called her a bird of paradise, and her leg placement was so fantastic.Carrie Ann said she is a star. Len loved her hand placement. Julianne thought she was the entire package. Scores: 8, 8, 9, 9= 34 out of 40

Michael Waltrip and Emma Slater danced a Cha Cha Cha-- Carrie Ann said she wanted to see more steps. Len said the engine was running but he never got out of first gear. He said it was too tight. I have to say I agree with Len, I didn't like it either. Julianne said, I wanna dance with you, it looked so fun. I don't know what Julianne is thinking. Bruno said it needed fine tuning. Scores: 7, 6, 6, 6=25 out of 40

Jonathan Bennett and Allison Holker danced a Jive-- I loved that, I can tell Allison is an awesome teacher, and I can see that they were having a ton of fun. Len said work on the details but great potential. Julianne said he was a natural performer. Carrie Ann said you're a polished performer, everything was so precise. Scores: 8, 7, 7, 8= 30 out of 40

Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd danced a Cha Cha Cha-- Seriously loved everything about that performance. It was so fun and entertaining and not too serious. Julianne thought he looked sexy, she said he was rico suave. Bruno said he was cool grandpa and he can get down. Carrie Ann said fantastic, you were funkier than Bruno. Len said painless, fun; I enjoyed it. Chong said I am really good at doing what beautiful women tell me what to do. Scores: 7, 6, 7, 7= 27 out of 30

Randy Couture and Karina Smirnoff danced a Foxtrot-- Bruno found him light on his feet and told him to keep his shoulders down. Carrie Ann said you are so sexy out there and I loved the way you handled Karina. Len said it was dandy Randy, lovely, well done. Julianne said you are the epitome of a man. Karina looked amazing and Randy looked great with her, so dashing and light on his feet. Scores: 8, 7, 8, 8= 31 out of 40

Bethany Mota and Derek Hough danced a Jive-- Carrie Ann found Bethany effervescent. Len said it was terrific. Carrie Ann and Bruno agree that she has to work on having consistent energy. I was a little bit underwhelmed by her performance, but maybe I have high expectations because it's Derek. Scores: 8, 8, 8, 8= 32 out of 40

Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carson danced a Jive-- It was so fun, thought I was watching Carlton Banks but with more polish. Len said best dance of the night without question. Julianne said he has so much style and musicality and complimented Witney on her choreography. Bruno said, Prince of Bel Aire, you're the King of the Night. Carrie Ann said, you just raised the stakes my friend. Scores: 9, 9, 9, 9= 36 out of 40

Who is going home? Bottom three prediction....... Michael Waltrip, Betsey Johnson, Lolo Jones. Lolo should go because she just had such a bad attitude, and I am surprised at that behavior coming from someone who is such a champion. If she is deserving of a second chance, Michael should go because Betsey is way too fun.

Fall TV 2014

What you should be watching?

Sunday

A new drama with some laughs on CBS or the longest running comedy? I'm recording one and watching the other.

At 8 pm on CBS:

NEW! Madame Secretary-- premieres September 21st at 8:30 pm, Tea Leoni stars as Elizabeth McCord, a former CIA Analyst turned college professor who is whisked back into the political stage when the President taps her to become the new Secretary of State following the mysterious death of the prior one. Tim Daly plays Leoni's husband and although it may be a bit of a stretch that the show features a political issue every week, it fits in perfectly with the CBS demographic. People are going to like this show and what makes it better is that Leoni and Daly are such likable actors and characters. Bebe Neuwirth also stars.

At 8 pm on FOX:

The Simpsons-- returns with it's 26th Season, premieres September 26th at 8 pm, There will be a Family Guy and The Simpsons crossover episode. The two families will become friends. A major character is also scheduled to die in this episode, who it is, is being kept under wraps.

Check out a clip HERE

What I am even more excited about is that The Simpsons is going to have it's own MAC Cosmetics Collection!

I cannot wait to see the new developments in the wake of Will's death, and what will become of Peter and Alicia's relationship on The Good Wife.

At 9 pm on CBS:

The Good Wife-- premieres September 21st, is back for it's sixth season, fresh off Julianna Margulies' Emmy Win for Season 5. What's missing this season? Josh Charles as Will Gardner who was killed off towards the end of last season. What's happening in season six? Alicia (Margulies) may run for State Attorney. Taye Diggs has been cast as a "talented and meticulous" lawyer. Steven Pasquale has been cast as a campaign manager, supposedly for Alicia. Alicia and Peter's marriage is basically just for show at this point, in public they're happily married. Behind closed doors is another story.

Revenge returned to it's amazing roots in season three; I cannot wait for season four to knock my socks off!

At 10 pm on ABC:

Revenge-- premieres September 28th, finished season three in grand fashion. Victoria killed Emily's true love, Aiden. Conrad went to jail, got out, and he was stabbed and left for dead by none other than David Clarke! Emily's father is alive. Emily finally got the best of Victoria who ended up in a mental health facility, and Emily committed her. Emily is going to do a lot of self reflecting this season. She is going to see the havoc she's wreaked on the lives of those who care about her, they've put their lives on the line all so Emily can avenge David's supposed death. Jack will be at the center of her reflection, especially now that her love Aiden is gone. David will not be who Emily or Victoria think he is. Because Aiden is gone, Emily has a whole new reason for revenge.

Monday

Take your pick on Monday night at 8 pm because there are a lot of good choices....

At 8 pm on ABC:

Alfonso Ribiero and Whitney Carson

Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas
Michael Waltrip and Emma Slater
Lolo Jones and Keo Motsepe
Jonathan Bennett and Allison Holker
Lea Thompson and Artem Chigvintsev
Antonio Sabato Jr. and Cheryl Burke
Randy Couture and Karina Smirnoff
Janel Parrish and Val Chmerkovskiy
Tommy Chong and Peta Murgatroyd
Betsey Johnson and Tony Dovolani
Bethany Mota and Derek Hough
Tavis Smiley and Sharna Burgess

Ehhh this is kind of a disappointing cast. I will be looking at Alfonso, Lolo, Antonio, Sadie, Randy, and Janel.

At 8 pm on CBS:

2 Broke Girls-- premieres October 27th, Kim Kradashian West will guest star as herself, she's lend her social media expertise to Max and Caroline's cupcake shop. Jesse Metcalfe will also guest as Max's booty call, hopefully he will stick around for more than one episode.

At 8 pm on NBC:

The Voice-- premieres September 22nd, Adam and Blake are back for Season 7 of the hit show, and are joined this time around by Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams. Adam is back to his real hair color by the way, just one more reason I am excited for this season. ;-)

At 9, you can watch a new drama on CBS or a dramedy on The CW,

At 9 pm on CBS:

NEW! Scorpion-- premieres September 22nd but you can watch the preview online now http://www.cbs.com/shows/scorpion/ .The series, written by Nick Santora (Prison Break, Breakout Kings) follows an eccentric genius named Walter (played by Elyes Gabel, Person of Interest) and his international network of super-geniuses as they form the last line of defense against the complex threats of the modern age. Katherine McPhee plays a diner waitress and also genius named Paige.

At 9 pm on The CW:

NEW! Jane the Virgin-- premieres October 13th, love the premise of this show based on a Venezuelan telenovela; Jane, a 23 year old virgin raised by her mom and grandmother is an aspiring writer studying to be a teacher and currently working at a Miami hotel. Jane is engaged to a great guy named Michael who is a detective. Her life and plans are forever turned upside down when she goes to the doctor for a routine physical and is accidentally artificially inseminated. What does she do next? Well, you'll have to watch to find out.

This is what I will be watching at 10 pm on Monday night, amazing premise, great cast, what more could I ask for?

At 10 pm on NBC:

NEW! State of Affairs-- premieres November 17th, Katherine Heigl and Alfre Woodard return to TV in roles that they seem born to play. Charlestown works hard to balance her tough job, personal life, and getting to the bottom of her fiance's death which she discovers is a lot more than meets the eye.

Eliza Dooley (Karen Gillan) has hundreds of thousands of Twitter followers, but discovers that social media friends are not the same as having real friends. She enlists the help of her coworker Henry (John Cho) to help her change her image and form real connections with others.

At 8:30 pm on ABC:

NEW! Manhattan Love Story-- premieres September 30th, Another comedy, and another vote of confidence from me. This is out of the ordinary, but I loved the preview for Manhattan Love Story. This is a fun little romantic comedy (we need more of those right now; we're living in a cynical world!) What I liked about this preview is that it gives you insight to what the opposite sex is thinking. The series stars the adorable Analeigh Tipton, who finished in third place on Cycle 11 of America's Next Top Model. Jake McDorman is her love interest from the ABC family show Greek.

At 8 pm on NBC-- More of The Voice, see Monday

At 8 pm on The CW:

She got a job offer in NYC. So Will decided to move there with her which hurt Marcus, and secretly hurt Fiona too. Will and Marcus made up before he made the move. The end of the episode is Will and Marcus skyping and us wondering when Will is going to move back because we all know he will.

At 10 pm on NBC:

At 10 on CBS:

NEW! Stalker-- premieres October 1st, I think what attracted me to putting this on my list was how absolutely scary the previews were. It literally creeped me out; I have no idea whether or not I will be able to consistently watch the show without getting nightmares, but I am willing to try. The series, starring Dylan McDermott and Maggie Q are detectives who investigate a variety of different stalking incidents for the Threat Assessment Unit of the LAPD. Their job is to assess threat level and catch the stalkers before their obsessions get out of control without allowing it to interfere with their personal demons.

At 10 pm on ABC:

Nashville-- premieres September 24th, there were lots of cliffhangers at the end of last season. Is Juliette pregnant and with who's baby? Scarlett battled depression and decided that her career had to be put on hold. Rumor has it Juliette's pregnancy will be written into the show. Avery will do his very best to move on from Juliette. Deacon will might to be the man Rayna and Maddie need him to be. And will Will come out to his wife?

Up in the air is the status of The Vampire Diaries after this season is in the books because everyone's contract is up. Will Nina Dobrev and the clan resign? Or is it time for them to move forward?

NEW! Gracepoint-- premieres October 2nd, this is a 10 part miniseries, and FOX has been talking about it since the summer started. I have been so excited for this series. The series centers around the investigation of a young boys murder, and who did it. Just about everyone in the town takes their turn at being a suspect.

At 10 pm on NBC:

Parenthood-- premieres September 25th, this will be the last season of the well written, beloved, family drama that can make just about anyone, no matter where their place is in life, laugh or cry. Jason Katims has 13 episodes to wrap everything up and tie a pretty little bow on it. Is Amber pregnant? Ryan will return. Will Julia and Joel get back together? Who will die? Katims revealed that a member of the Braverman family will die. So sad, I don't even want to think about who it is. Will Sarah finally be happy with Hank?
