The Voice Season 13: Mr. Jones LOVES the Battle Rounds

Team Jennifer: Davon Fleming vs. Maharasyi singing I'm Your Baby Tonight by Whitney Houston-- Both of them put on A+ performances. I would go with Davon, he was sharp, and I loved his attitude and his soul. Adam said, Davon I wanted you on my team and you were fierce. Maharasyi, you have an incredible voice. Blake said although Davon was a 4 chair turn, but Maharasyi you lived up to his level in that performance and that's a credit to you and your coach.
Jen chose Davon

Team Adam: Brandon Showell vs. Hannah Mrozak singing Cold Water by Major Lazer-- Both sang well, they blended together, and complimented each other. I'd lean towards Brandon but I think both of them are great and deserve to move forward. Adam said I have grown to love Brandon as a person and as a talent. Hannah, you're powerful and committed.  Both of you did exactly as you were supposed to do. Blake said that they were well matched and kept one upping each other.
Adam chose Hannah

Battles! Lightning Style!

Team Adam: Dave Crosby vs. Dylan Gerard singing Doctor My Eyes by Jackson Browne-- Adam chose Dylan

Team Blake: Esera Tualo vs. Rebecca Brunner singing This I Promise You by NSYNC-- Blake chose Esera

Team Miley: Chloe Kohanski vs. Illianna Viramontes singing I Am Woman by Helen Reddy-- Miley chose Chloe

Team Blake: Dennis Drummond vs. Mitchell Lee singing Mr. Jones by Counting Crows-- Jen said you guys are so amazing and captivating to watch. I wanna come to your concert. Both of you are stars. Miley said Mitchell your voice is so pitch perfect. Dennis your footwork is crazy and you're a great performer. Adam said you're both so awesome. Mitchell you sound like the original guy who sang this record and you're more in Blake's wheelhouse but Dennis there's something so special about you.
Blake chose Mitchell and Adam stole Dennis

I'm looking out for Mitchell and Dennis, Esera and Davon are dark horses in this competition

The Voice Season 13: These Battles Are Dangerous

Team J. Hud-- Lucas Holliday vs. Meagan McNeal singing My Perogative by Bobby Brown-- Kelly Rowland brought up the fact that both of them are 1 chair turns and that's crazy to me! Lucas is so flashy and soulful and I love it, the range in his voice is incredible. Meagan sings with such authority and her confidence and attitude is so cool when she sings and performs. I loved the way both of them navigated the stage. All the coaches are rightfully on their feet, both of them MUST move forward. If it were my team, I'd pick Lucas because it's more unlikely coming from him, but I think both are unreal. Miley said it was such a gift watching both of you. Adam said what in the hell was that? The happiness was infectious, that was amazing. Meagan, I had no idea how good you were. Lucas, I just wanna come touch you and make sure you exist. Blake said it was as good as it could be, Jennifer, God be with you. Jen said, you both were true to who you are.
Jen chose Lucas

Team Miley-- Moriah Formica vs. Shilo Gold singing American Woman by Lenny Kravitz-- Moriah to me embodied the song more, she bleeds authentic rocker to me. Adam said he'd have to go with Moriah. Blake said Moriah is a born rock star, and Shilo is an entertainer. Jen felt Shilo made it her own and Moriah has a definite presence and would also have to go with Moriah.
Miley chose Moriah

Team Blake-- Keisha Renae vs. Noah Mac singing I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry by Hank Williams-- OMG, I loved both of them. Noah's voice is so mature, he has definitely grown since the blinds. Keisha sang her heart out, her performance was so emotional. Both of them were throwbacks to another time. Jen said Noah you're an old soul, and Keisha your voice was so pure. Miley said your performance reminded me of 50's and 60's country and rock and roll. Adam said what you both do is really special and not of this time. Blake said you're two people that gave it everything you have. Noah there is so much honesty that comes with your voice, and Keisha you fly with your voice.
Blake chose Keisha, and J. Hud stole Noah! YES!!!

Team J. Hud-- Chris Weaver vs. Kathrina Feigh singing Dangerous Woman by Ariana Grande-- Honestly, am not loving or liking either one. They're both over-singing. The fact that the coaches are praising this boggles my mind. Adam said Chris did not overpower Kathrina. Blake said they both had good control. Blake said here at B. Shel productions we don't believe in letting good talent get away.
Jen chose Chris, and Blake stole Kathrina!

Team Miley-- Brooke Simpson vs. Sophia Bollman singing You're a Big Girl Now by Bob Dylan-- Adam said Sophia, you have a lot of power and Brooke you do too, your power is more defined. Jen didn't realize Sophia had the voice she did and Brooke had a lot of presence. She felt a sisterhood. Blake said, Brooke you held the bar, and Sophia you stepped up. I loved both girls and felt that sisterhood that Jen was talking about. This truly was both ladies at their best. I didn't think I would love the song choice but I actually did. Brooke is my choice though because she has a definite maturity.
Miley chose Brooke

Team Adam-- Adam Pearce vs. Whitney Fenimore singing Stop Dragging My Heart Around by Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty-- Whitney is good but a bit too folksy for me. Adam is an authentic rocker and I am so happy he came back to the show. Blake called Adam a true rocker, I'm going for Whitney but no one lost there. Jen liked Adam's edge and Whitney's presence, she'd go with Adam. Miley said Adam I love your presence and Whitney you've had a lot of growth. I'd do with Adam. Miley and Jen, I have to agree with you, I would also go with Adam. Adam said I have fallen in love with both of you and couldn't take my eyes off you guys.
Adam chose Adam, Blake and Miley.... in it to steal Whitney! Blake said here at B. Shel productions.... Whitney chose Miley

Stepped it up.... Noah Mac, Moriah Formica, and Whitney Fenimore..... continued to impress....... Adam Pearce, Keisha Renae, and of course Lucas Holiday

I can't wait to see what the competition brings for these contestants

The Voice Season 13: And it's a Wrap with the Blinds

Kristi Hoopes sang Heaven, Heartache, and the Power of Love by Trisha Yearwood-- Kristi is authentic country hippie, she has a lot of attitude and that sells her as a vocalist. Adam said you would be the only country artist on my team. Jenn and Blake turned as well. Blake sold himself as the real deal country artist. Kristi said in her heart and soul she had to pick Blake.
Kristi chose Blake, his team is full

Michael Kight sang Sugar by Maroon 5-- Adam was the only one who turned, clearly this was meant to be. I thought Michael's falsetto was a little shaky but it's nothing Adam can't fix. His bluesy rendition of the song was cool.
Adam chose Michael

Jeremiah Miller sang Slow Hands by Niall Horan-- I was unimpressed with this. I like this song but the interpretation fell short for me. Adam and Jenn turned and Jenn said she won The Voice U.K. last year.
Jeremiah chose Jenn, her team is full

Megan Rose sang Ode to Billie Joe by Bobbie Gentry-- Megan has a calming voice, I'd like to hear her sing something that tells a better story. Miley and Adam turned, both vying to get Megan on their team. Miley says she could have the first all girl team in Voice history! Adam is no match for this.
Megan chose Miley, her all girl team is full!

Gary Carpentier sang Home by Michael Buble-- Peformance was a little bit ordinary but the passion is definitely there. Gary's fiance breaks down crying backstage when Adam turns and Gary almost loses it on stage. He does have a smooth, full voice.
Adam chose Gary and Team Adam is full

The Blinds Continue: Season 13, Teams Almost Full!

Chloe Kohanski sang The Chain by Fleetwood Mac-- I actually loved her song choice and her voice was killer. She has that thick, raspy voice, it sounded so full. Blake and Miley turned, followed by Jen. Blake said you have a rock and roll voice, you sound unique and I'd love to have you on my team so bad. Miley said you really know who you are. Jenn said this is about owning your own voice. The coaches are really going at it for her!
Chloe chose Miley

Olivia Kay sang Ghost by Ella Henderson-- no one turned, her voice

Dennis Drummond sang She Talks to Angels by The Black Crows-- Adam and Blake turned around, Adam said this knit-wit turned around and now it's an old school battle. Blake said I like the fact that different genres are coming to Nashville. He said you have a deep growly rock and roll voice.. Adam said I think we're dynamic enough to work with anybody.
Dennis chose Blake

Ignatious Carmouche sang Latch by Disclosure and Sam Smith-- I am not digging the arrangement of the song but I think Ignatious has a killer voice. He has a strong range. Jen looked like she was about to cry. Ignatious said he was singing to Jen's heart.
Ignatious chose Jennifer

Rebecca Brunner sang Believer by Imagine Dragons-- Liked her voice, but the song seemed wrong all together. Blake turned at the last minute and she is lucky he saw some potential in her despite a poor song choice. Blake chose Rebecca

Brandon Brown sang Georgia on My Mind by Ray Charles-- Wow, everyone except Miley turned. This seemed 4 chair turn worthy to me. Adam thought the song was sung with subtlety, nuance, and soul. Jenn Hudson said she hear Donny Hathaway in his voice. Jenn said Adam lays across the chair and begs and Blake points to himself. Blake thought he sounded like Willie Nelson. I don't see what Blake is saying. I do love what Adam said about him having that nuance and soul in his voice.
Brandon chose Adam

Nathan Grahan-- no one turned

Whitney Fenimore sang Hold On We're Going Home by Drake-- I could see Adam thinking when she was singing because it reminded him of Christina Grimmie. Miley and Adam ended up turning. Miley made her all girl team pitch. Adam said that it made him smile to hear her singing that song like that. Whitney has a unique voice, it will be interesting to see where she takes this. Inspired by Songs About Jane.....
Whitney chose Adam

Ilianna Viramontes sang New Soul by Yael Naim-- Her voice cracked at a few points, but I think she is definitely coachable and has some good quirks in her voice. Miley and Blake turned. Blake said I love your voice, and I see how excited you were to see Miley. I love how you navigated the melody with perfect pitch. Adam actually thinks she will be popular on the show. Miley said if you were trapped in a box, who would you want to be trapped in a box with?
Ilianna chose Miley

Katrina Rose went to Team Miley
Natalie Stovall went to Team Blake
Ryan Scripps went to Team Blake

Meagan McNeal sang I Can't Feel my Face by The Weeknd-- Jenn was the only one who turned. Meagan is from Chicago, this is a perfect match! Meagan is a unique creature, her voice is different, her look is different. I love her vibe and how she just changed up the whole song.

Jon Mero sang Versace on the Floor by Bruno Mars-- 4 chair turn and this was a worthy one too! Wow, I loved his voice and his performance. His personality came through so well. Jenn said I felt like I was at your show. Miley said are you wearing bedazzled denim? I am too! Adam said you remind me of Prince. This is a step on the never ending staircase of your career. Jenn liked to see people own their moment. Blake said if I would have done some of those moves you did, I would have hyper extended my knee. I hit my button because you're an incredible singer.
Jon chose Adam

Who do I think is going far? Jon, Chloe, and Whitney

The Voice Season 14: Invincible Performers on the Blinds Tonight!

Anthony Alexander sang Redbone by Childish Gambino-- I am so upset Blake didn't push! He deserved 4 chairs. Anthony's voice is so good. His falsetto is so good, and there was a lot of soul and style in his voice. Jenn saw shades of Prince. Miley said that they are not far off from each other. Adam said his vision is so right and he is so sincere. Adam said I want to help you improve your falsetto and I am so passionate about you.
Anthony chose Adam

Sophia Bollman sang Invincible by Kelly Clarkson-- Blake and Miley turned. Interesting! Where was J Hud on this? Blake said you have an incredible pop voice. Miley said there were some moments that weren't as strong but she has definite range. Sophia said Blake would be such a cool dad.
Sophia chose Miley

Karli Webster sang You're So Vain by Carly Simon-- Adam and Miley turned right away. She has a unique sound, and her voice is a little bit old school. I am curious as to what she will sound  like singing a more contemporary song. Adam said the spirit of Carly Simon was in your performance, I believe you could go all the way. Miley said she'd like to take 70s songs and make them current.
Karli chose Miley

Stephan Marcellus sang Take Me to Church by Hozier--This was a hot mess at the beginning, but J Hud turned around and saved the day!
Jenn chose Stephan

Emily Luther sang Summertime by Ella Fitzgerald-- Another should have been 4 chair turn! Where was Miley? She was so authentic and true to who she is. Her voice was so throwback. Adam said he was so mesmerized that he almost forgot to push. Jenn felt like she had a great balance of everything. Blake said he really got into that performance, and he wanted a martini. No one has anyone like you on their team.
Emily chose Adam

Look out for Anthony and Emily, they are gonna be major factors in this competition.

Season 14: The Voice Week 2 of the Blinds Way Down We Go

Adam Cunningham sang Midnight Rider by The Allman Brothers-- Blake turned at the beginning at J Hud at the end. Adam is from Nashville, and his voice is record-able but not as unique. There's some soul in his voice a-la J Hud but he's a country rocker.
Adam chose Blake

Hannah Mrozak sang Starving by Hailee Steinfeld-- Blake, Jenn, and Adam all push quick. I like the tone in Hannah's voice and there's some soul in there as well that is really appealing. I think she is someone who will do well and has a chance to go far in this competition. Adam says Hannah would have an important spot on his team, and she should join him. Jenn questions why Adam is telling her what to do.
Hannah chose Adam

Shilo Gold sang Stay with me Baby by Lorraine Ellison-- Shilo has an interesting voice for sure, I do like her rasp but I almost feel like she needs to take better care of her voice. Vocally, she is more similar to Miley than Jenn, both of whom turn for her.
Shilo chose Miley

Samantha Rios sang Something's Got a Hold on Me by Etta James-- I actually loved this performance, and I am super upset that none of the coaches turned. I hope she comes back.

Noah Mac sang Way Down We Go by Kaleo-- Noah is so special, he will make it to the live shows. He has so much passion when he sings, and it's clear that he feels every note. This is someone who should have been a 4 chair turn. Adam and Miley missed the boat on this one, and they will regret it. Adam called not turning a missed opportunity for him. Miley called him HOT. Blake said his voice is powerful. J Hud called him passionate. And Blake said he has nothing but admiration for him and would love to be his coach.
Noah chose Blake

Davon Fleming sang Me & Mrs Jones by Amy Winehouse-- 4 Chair Turn! J Hud tosses her shoe. Blake says he is going to be in the finale. Jenn sings with him, and Adam thinks he doesn't stand a chance but tries anyway.
Davon chose Jenn

Kathrina Feigh sang Big White Room by Jessie J.-- Jenn and Blake have been going toe to toe all night. In this face off Jenn wins.
Kathrina chose Jenn

Montages.... (will come back to this later)

Addison Agen sang Jolene by Ray Lamontagne-- Adam and Miley go one on one here. It seems that they are squaring off a lot as well. Addison calls herself alternative folk. Adam compares her to Danielle Bradberry.
Addison chose Miley

Adam Pearce sang Hot Blooded by Foreigner-- Despite me not loving the song, I do love Adam's authentic rock voice. Adam and Miley turned, and Blake was team Miley this time around.
Adam chose Adam

Myles Frost sang My Cherie Amor by Stevie Wonder-- He is sounding pretty young and inexperience, he has a decent voice, but there isn't anything about it that would set him apart truly. Adam said we hear the good points, but we also hear the nerves. He invited Myles to come back.

Moriah Formica sang Crazy on You by Heart-- Four chair turn, and well deserved! It is absolutely insane that she is only 16; she has a mature sound. Adam said she is a pint sized powerhouse. J Hud said she wants her to be the best "you" that she can be on her team. Blake said this is all about having someone in your corner who believes in you. People like you keep me coming back to coach. Miley said you're getting to experience this at such a young age, and I think we can relate to each other a lot. Adam said you're an old soul and you have a good knowledge of rock and roll.
Moriah chose Miley

The Voice Season 14: I Can't Stop Loving the Blinds!

Keisha Renae sang I Can't Stop Loving You by Ray Charles-- 4 chair turn, but I didn't think it was justifiable. I want her to prove to me she is worthy of 4 chairs. I found the vocal pitchy and I did not love the song choice for her. I actually found the performance boring. Jennifer said you create your own lane and that's what I wanna help you do. Blake said I love you. Miley said I was raised in Nashville and I can help you blend country and pop.
Keisha chose Blake

Dylan Gerard sang Say You Won't Let Go by James Arthur-- Adam and Jennifer turned for him. I thought this was a strong vocal. I am not a fan of this song, but I tried hard to judge it on his voice. Adam liked his cool vibe, and Jennifer sees a lot of potential with him. She asked him to take the vocal up a half step and it honestly sounded amazing. Despite Jen's coaching .....
Dylan chose Adam

Maharasyi sang Tell Me Something Good by Chaka Kahn-- Jennifer and Miley turned, and Jen did a demo of her coaching skills which sealed the deal for Maharasyi. I think she had a good voice, definitely a soul singer. She needs to work on stage presence and song choice. This song choice was a little strange.
Maharasyi chose Jennifer

Marlo Wells sang Love Me Now by John Legend-- This is someone who actually deserved a chair and didn't get one. I loved the liberties he took with the song. I am not a huge fan of the John Legend version and I found myself liking this version. Jennifer said I am so shamed, I cannot even look at you sir.

Red Marlow sang Swingin' by John Anderson-- Miley and Blake turned, two country coaches. I would go with Blake if I was Red, but that's just me. Red met Blake years ago. Miley said my coaching will be about taking you to the top. Blake said let's not monkey around with this thing, let's do what's right. Red has an old school country style voice like a George Strait or Garth Brooks, I think he will have a strong following on this show because of his authenticity in terms of country music.
Red chose Blake

Ashland Craft sang You Are My Sunshine-- Her vocal is so strong! She is true county, similar to a Trisha Yearwood or Leann Rimes. There was a rasp in her voice that was so controlled. Adam said everything Miley has I have it too. Miley said Blake is the king of country, but I am the queen. Adam said I am not country, but I've been fighting this country fight for years, but I keep fighting. I think you're going to transcend the necessity to go to Blake's team. Blake said it's important to recognize your roots. Adam said this is so wrong that it could be right.
Ashland chose Miley

Ashland could have a big impact on this season..... will Miley keep her on her team?

The Voice Season 14: The Blinds Begin!

Chris Weaver sang Try a Little Tenderness by Otis Redding-- 4 chair turn of course! Adam is first to turn and he turns quick, followed by Jennifer who starts throwing shoes and Adam begins throwing clothes. Blake said I have won with pop, country, R&B artists, but I have never won with a drag queen. Miley said we can make sure that we pick the right songs for you and take you to the top. Jennifer said I feel I have that vision because I've already walked that path. Chris is one of those strong and memorable voices, I loved this rendition of the song.
Chris chose Jennifer

Mitchell Lee sang Hold My Hand by Hootie and the Blowfish-- Blake, Adam, and Jennifer turned. Adam said that singer has traversed a lot of areas with music. I think you can go far in this show. Blake said I love working with country and rock artist, I would love to have you on my team. Jennifer said it's amazing to see how comfortable you are. You have your own lane here. I liked Mitchell, his voice is authentic country rock. The rasp in his voice was great.
Mitchell chose Blake..... Adam congratulated Blake on an excellent acquisition

Janice Freeman sang Radioactive by Imagine Dragons-- Jennifer and Miley both turned. I loved her version of the song, I felt like it expressed to us who she is as an artist. She said cancer tried to hold her back and Jennifer and Miley got up on stage with her. Miley said I know that I am not an amazing  singer as Jennifer Hudson and I am still gonna fight for you. You can bring destiny and hope to the world.
Janice chose Miley

Xaris sang Don't Think Twice it's All Right-- No one turned for her. Adam said she was an old soul. Blake said he wished he could push his button.

Shi'ann Jones sang Drown in My Tears by Ray Charles-- Jennifer and Blake turned around. Jennifer told Blake not to turn around, he said he waited until she turned to turn. Blake said where are you from? He said why would I pick him as my coach? I've been doing this for 13 seasons, and it's all about you having the best performances every time you go on that stage. I think this young lady has potential but I thought her voice needs a lot of training and it will take some hard work.
Shi'ann chose Jennifer

Dave Crosby sang I Will Follow You Into the Dark by -- Adam turned right away, I find his voice too sleepy though. I wish he had picked a different song. I am actually kind of surprised that three people turned for him. His daughter sang on Little Big Shots, I think she is a better singer than him. Dave ended up going with Adam over Blake and Miley, makes sense from a style standpoint.
Dave chose Adam

Odiseas sang Papa's Got a Brand New Bag by James Brown-- Jennifer said it was too overcharacterized. I agree with her, it was too much. He should come back and just give the pure voice. Miley said I'm in love with your voice and you. Blake said it was out of his lane. Adam said third time is a charm, come back.

Esera Tuaolo sang Rise Up by Andra Day-- Adam said I felt your presence as you were singing, and I was like you're a big dude, and I am a total moron for turning around. Jennifer turned first and then Blake. Blake said I am a huge football fan and I am probably gonna drive that man crazy. Blake said if any of you bother me, I'm gonna send Eresa after your ass. I loved Esera's voice, Jennifer was right, I love how he executed those soaring notes, it sounded strong, controlled, it was great. I think he's gonna be a major threat this season.
Esera chose Blake

Brandon Showell sang There's Nothing Holding Me Back by Shawn Mendes-- LOVED, loved, loved Brandon! His voice had so much soul and nuance. He'll do well cause he's a throwback with a modern twist. Adam said whatever she (Jennifer) did I did it too..... cause Jennifer said she sang on cruise ships like Brandon did.
Brandon chose Adam

Lucas Holliday sang This Woman's Work by Maxwell-- Incredible voice and incredible performance. His falsetto was unreal and his full voice wasn't even believable. Shocked that Jennifer was the only person who turned. Where were the other coaches? Adam called him a genius. Jennifer said after that, we need to sing something together.

Brooke Simpson sang Stone Cold by Demi Lovato-- Another well deserved 4 chair turn! I love the emotion Brooke showed in this performance, she truly left it all out there. Her voice is so strong and so impactful. I truly loved it. Adam ran up and hugged her after her performance. Miley said I am a little speechless and Adam said I am not. Jennifer said who do you listen to? And she said all of you. Miley said I am invested and I'm gonna win this season, and I wanna win with you. Adam said most people who try and do what you do, shouldn't do it. He said there was so much soul, passion, and power. Adam said I want to lead you down the right path. Jennifer said you owned the song and meant the song. Blake said every now and then a singer comes across this stage who just needs an opportunity, and that's you.
Brooke chose Miley

I have my eye on Brooke and Lucas, even Brandon a little bit. Mitchell could be a dark horse.

The Voice Season 12: The Finale is Here! I'm Experiencing Deja Vu

Team Blake: Aliyah Moulden singing Never Be Lonely an original song-- For an original, this song sounded like it could be on the radio right now.

Team Adam: Jesse Larsen singing Taking it to the Streets by The Doobie Brothers-- I am unsure if I guy Jesse singing this exact song, but his vocal was strong, and by the end, he made me believe it. Alicia said your voice has never sounded better. I love and respect what you and Adam are doing together. Adam said it was the best he has ever sounded, and that he might be a little biased but he should win this whole thing.

Team Alicia: Chris and Alicia singing Diamonds and Pearls by Prince-- This song felt so perfect for them to sing together. Stylistically it felt so close to who both of them really are. I loved the range in Chris's voice, the low lows and and those BIG notes. He and Alicia never overpowered each other, Chris's voice in particular was tender. Wow on this one.

Team Blake: Lauren Duski singing The Dance by Garth Brooks-- This was a great song for Lauren to do, but I was thinking she could have done something a little more controversial, maybe like Thunder Rolls. Adam said we've all loved your voice from the beginning, you have a familiar comforting voice. Throughout the whole competition, it has been such a pleasure and joy to watch you, and I am still mad you're not on my team. Blake said I can't stop smiling right now. It's one of my favorite songs and you made me feel like I am hearing this for the first time.

Team Blake: Aliyah and Blake singing Dancing in the Street by Martha Reeves and the Vandellas-- I thought this song was really fun for Aliyah to do. It did seem a little redundant to be honest,  I feel like she's done this before, but being that it was a duet, it had a different dimension to it.

Team Alicia: Chris singing Money on You an original song-- I enjoyed the fun and personality Chris brought to this original song. At first I didn't like it but the song had a lot of different twists and turns in it. Alicia said watching you perform, I am already at your show. There's an electricity that happens when you're here.

Team Adam: Jesse and Adam singing Let's Go Crazy by Prince-- This performance was iconic. I loved the vocals, the song choice, the guitar. Everything was amazing, loved this!

Team Blake: Lauren and Blake singing There's a Tear in My Beer by Hank Williams-- I think if I were them I would have done something more serious. I liked the playfulness of the song, but probably not finale material. Lauren is going last so clearly she is the favorite in this.

Team Adam: Jesse Larsen singing Woman an original song-- Chris Stapleton cowrote that song which is so cool. The song sounded so authentically him; he needs to go on tour with Chris Stapleton right now! Adam said I want to give back to that intangible thing called The Voice.

Team Blake: Aliyah Moulden singing Signed Sealed Delivered by Stevie Wonder-- Blake said every time you get on that stage you make people smile and you bring them into this moment.

Team Blake: Lauren Duski singing Deja Vu an original song that she cowrote-- Actually loved this more than any other original song. She needs to actually put this on her first album, it's perfect. The lyrics are amazing. Blake said let me congratulate you for writing your first number one song, that was beautiful and perfect.

Team Alicia: Chris Blue singing Rhythm Nation by Janet Jackson-- Chris brought the house down with that song, it was so relevant, and the performance just bled authenticity. Alicia said you just showed everyone that you are everything and there is nothing you can't do.

The Voice Season 12: The Top 8 Take me to the King

Team Gwen: Hunter Plake sang With or Without You by U2-- I liked this song on Hunter; I liked that for once he didn't change the song dramatically. Blake said that is your best vocal performance on the show. You honored the original, but you don't sound like anyone else. Gwen wants America to realize how talented Hunter is.

Duet: Chris Blue and Vanessa Ferguson sang If I Ain't Got You by Alicia Keys-- Beautiful duet, this song fit both of them so well. All the coaches were on their feet, that was a vocal master class! Yay for being able to vote for that duet and have it count!

Team Blake: T Soul sang Ain't No Way by Aretha Franklin-- I like that T Soul returned to his roots last week and stayed there this week. This song and his whole performance was so throw back and I loved the soulfulness. Alicia said Ain't No Way is one of my all time favorite songs ever, T Soul you have a showmanship that comes from you. Blake said I am so proud of you, you told me about your dream to be on The Voice and here you are in the semi finals.

Team Gwen: Brennley Brown sang Suds in the Bucket by Sara Evans-- Loved Ms. Brennley's attitude in this song. It was a little strange that she did a song so niche like this in the semifinals. I would have done this a couple weeks ago. Blake thought it was the right time for her to do that song. Gwen thinks it is easier to do an emotional song than to do a song like the one Brennley did tonight. Yes, and no Gwen, I don't completely agree with that. Doing an emotional song forces you to be vulnerable if you're doing it correctly. And if you're not, you come across as fake or forced instead of emotional.

Duet: Hunter Plake and Aliyah Moulden sang Let it Go by James Bay-- Liked the song idea, however, the performance itself sounded like there were some pitch issues.

Team Blake: Lauren Duski sang Ghost in this House by Allison Krauss-- This was yet another haunting performance by Lauren. It felt really and she yet again showed us she is a skilled storyteller. Adam said grace and simplicity is going out of style, and it's so great to see you do just that. Blake said that is a pure country song, and I cannot wait to see how country music fans respond to it on iTunes.

Duet: T Soul and Jesse Larsen sang I Wish by Stevie Wonder-- That was the best duet yet! I loved the soul, the beat, the syncopation. It was flawless.

Team Alicia: Chris Blue sang Take me to the King-- The vocal was a tiny bit out of control at times, but when he reigned it in it was thoughtful, real, and passionate. It was a genuine plea, "take me to the king". Alicia said you represent our frustrations, troubles, and pain; you tapped into that. You got out of your way, that was so moving.

Team Alicia: Vanessa Ferguson sang Superstar by Leon Russell-- This song and this performance could not have been more perfect and touching. Vanessa put her own spin on this song and really made it her own. Her phrasing was just beautiful. Alicia begged everyone to vote for Vanessa.

Duet: Lauren Duski and Brennley Brown sang Good Hearted Woman by Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson-- Fun performance, not the best of the night for the duets, but certainly entertaining.

Team Adam: Jesse Larsen sang I Was Wrong by Chris Stapleton-- This performance was Jesse's stamp in the finale. If he doesn't make it, it just won't be right. This vocal and performance absolutely bled authenticity and realness. There was soul for days.

Team Blake: Aliyah Moulden sang I Can Only Imagine by MercyMe-- Aliyah looked like she was soaking this performance in and relishing every moment. She looked so happy and so free, this was a great song choice for her. This young lady may have solidified her spot in the final as well. Blake said I signed up to do this show in Season 11, and I hoped that someday I would get to work with an artist like you. Someone who we can see development and growth, and that is you.

The Voice Season 12: The Top 10 Are Unforgettable

Team Adam: Jesse Larsen sang Jungle Love by The Tyme-- I loved the way this performance came together. Jesse played the crowd, his voice was great, his guitar skills even better. I loved this. I hope going first doesn't hurt him. Alicia said was it your idea to say my name at the end, and Jesse said that was all me. Adam said that song was jazz, sex appeal, funk, it was nasty.

Team Blake: Aliyah Moulden sang Jealous by Labrinth-- Gwen loved the tone in her voice. Blake said I couldn't be more proud of you. You did what you needed to, and you sang that song about your dad. You got lost in the moment. Acknowledging the fact that Aliyah cried, I hope it didn't hurt her. I thought the vocal was sincere, and I hope this isn't the end for her, because she is a strong artist, never mind her age.

Team Alicia: Vanessa Ferguson sang Doo Wop That Thing by Lauryn Hill-- This has been one of the most genuine performances I have ever watched on the voice. It was real, dirtied up, and I loved how Vanessa just really channeled Lauryn. Adam was jamming. He said no one ever does Lauryn Hill and that album is one of his favorites of all time. He said he loved her rapping, and it's cool that Lauryn is proud of her for doing that. Alicia said you're a poet, mc, lyricist, musician, and an artist.

Team Adam: Mark Isaiah sang Sign of the Times by Harry Styles-- Gwen said it sounded so good, and I am glad you got to do that, because we saw a different side of you. Adam said you get better every week and no one works harder than you. I felt like there were some pitch issues at the top of the performance but I think Mark overcame that, and I hope he stays out of the bottom three this week.

Team Alicia: Chris Blue sang 24k Magic by Bruno Mars-- 3 out of 4 coaches were on their feet. I love the song so much, is it 100% Chris Blue's style? No. But, he pulled it off, and made it his own style. Blake said people must be deaf or blind if they don't get how talented you are. You're definitely going to be in the finale. Alicia said he is out here celebrating life, doing his thing. You just showed me and everyone that you're unstoppable.

Team Adam: Lilli Passero sang Unforgettable by Nat King Cole-- Didn't love the performance as much as I thought I would. I didn't enjoy how she was sliding into some of the notes, and scooping into them. It just sounded a little bit sloppy. I think she was trying to sound classic and it didn't have that effect. Of course, Adam and Alicia both loved the performance.

Team Blake: Lauren Duski sang Tell Me Why by Wynonna-- I thought this was a bit of an odd song choice, but Lauren is such a great singer, she may have pulled it off yet again. I feel like she needs to do a contemporary country song. Gwen said she loved hanging out with Lauren and loved it. Blake said you are the missing piece of country music right now. This momentum that's happening right now is so exciting, I am so happy for you.

Team Gwen: Hunter Plake sang Higher Love by Steve Winwood-- Whoever put together the arrangement did a great job. The song was given a cool contemporary feel, I loved it. Adam said you're very connected to music and that's very obvious. Gwen said she is happy to know and watch Hunter. He is so happy and comfortable on stage.

Team Blake: T Soul sang At This Moment by Billy Vera-- Alicia said you are really genuine, and your voice has its own stamp on it. Blake said I believe you bought yourself a ticket in the top 8, that's the best you've sounded so far. T Soul needed a performance like that and he came up big. That was flawless, the vocal was stunning, and he needs to always do songs that keep with this style.

Team Gwen: Brennley Brown sang Anyway by Martina McBride-- Blake said you will continue to defy the odds, your voice keeps getting better and better. Gwen said you're so gifted, beautiful, and talented. Brennley continues to impress me, she improves every week and doesn't flinch at a challenge.

The Voice Season 12: The Top 11 Show Us How to Love Them

Team Alicia: Stephanie Rice sang Behind Blue Eyes by the Who-- It was a cool song choice, and I liked what she did with it. She really breathed herself into the vocal. Alicia said it really came through that Stephanie felt like the song described her life.

Team Blake: Aliyah Moulden sang Take It Back by Reba McEntire-- I didn't love the song choice as much as I thought I would. The growl part I felt like was overdone. The style of the song was all her, and the end of the performance was strong. Which is good because that's what people will remember. Alicia loved the growl in her voice. Blake said I am blown away and America is falling in love with you because how can they not.

Team Blake: T Soul sang Lay Me Down by Sam Smith-- I love this song, it is my favorite Sam Smith song. I found the performance comfortable and in the zone for him. However, I thought his vocal was somewhat pitchy. Blake called T Soul a beast and said his performance was unbelievable.

Team Adam: Lilli Passero sang Town Without Pity by Gene Pitney-- It was a very throwback performance. I felt like the only thing I wanted more from her in terms of her feeling the lyric she is singing. She has the technique down, now she just needs that other part. Alicia said I was so feeling that, it was so relevant. I loved it. Adam said I'm so happy and I felt like we were in another time, and it's hard to do that without feeling contrived or sincere.

Team Gwen: Hunter Plake sang All I Want by Kodaline-- Wow, his range is pretty incredible. I think the song should have been a little bit more mainstream, but the lyric was relevant. I feel like he is the most ready of anyone to make a record. Adam said I love your voice, it's so distinct. Gwen said this a real artist who writes his own music. I can't believe you're on my team and I can't wait to buy your album.

Team Alicia: Vanessa Ferguson sang Diamonds by Rihanna-- Vanessa has been the most consistent performer on the show. She lost her pitch at one point in the song though which was surprising. Blake said I have always been most intimidated by you sis. Alicia said your vocals are so effortless.

Team Blake: Lauren Duski sang Somewhere in my Broken Heart by Randy Travis and Billy Dean-- Liked Lauren in this more than anything she has sung before. She did not lack emotion and her voice just resonated, there was an unmatched sincerity. My only criticism would be that I'd like to see her sing something upbeat. Adam said you're gonna be in the finale, you do it so effortlessly and in a classy way. You're incredible. Blake said your voice is classic but you don't sound like anyone else.

Team Adam: Mark Isaiah sang How to Love by Lil Wayne-- Tell you what, the song was a good idea. Adam said Mark chose it. Christina Grimmie did this song when she was on the show and she left me breathless, Mark was impressive, don't get me wrong. I think it just lacked sparkle. Gwen said you're already in my heart, and that feels like your song. You're so gifted. Adam said I was a little worried, that's a tough song. I just trusted you would come out here and blow me away. He does not deserve to be in the bottom again.

Team Adam: Jesse Larsen sang Human by Rag and Bone Man-- Probably my fave on the show end of story. Jesse is so soulful, and I will say it every week. Loved the song choice, and loved his authenticity. Adam said Jesse is not a popstar, you come out here and you sing your face off, you're an incredible talent and the best singer in this competition.

Team Gwen: Brennley Brown sang River by Joni Mitchell-- Brennley always resonates with me. I feel every note and her feelings are mine when she sings. This was flawless, if this girl is not in the finals, it will be criminal. How can she be that young and that talented? She just has it! Adam said I'm so happy you're with Gwen, it's cool to hear you sing a Joni Mitchell song. I loved your refreshing originality. Gwen said there is no way you're 15 and you can channel a Joni Mitchell song that's so revered and so deep.

Team Alicia: Chris Blue sang When a Man Loves a Woman by Percy Sledge-- It's a classic song that's been overdone, but that wasn't overdone that was perfect. Alicia said I was blessed to hear your voice, I feel like I watching Marvin Gaye, Sam Cook, Nat King Cole, that was so powerful.

Best of the Night: Brennley, Jesse, Chris, toss up between Lauren and Hunter

Bottom 3 Prediciton: Stephanie, T Soul, Vanessa

The Voice Season 12: The Top 12 Sing A Song for You

Team Adam: Jesse Larsen sang To Make You Feel My Love by Bob Dylan-- Is there anything that Jesse cannot sing? He is so authentic, so real, and so soulful. There is a legit richness to his voice that is just so appealing to listen to. Shania said you are just a stunning vocalist, and I was very moved. Adam said you are the most pure vocalist in this competition.

Team Adam: Mark Isaiah sang One Dance by Drake-- This is a cool song choice for him and I love the arrangement. Shania said you have a definite star quality. Adam said he had his doubts but that Mark pulled it together and deserves to be here. He said that people should vote for him because his performance was like he was not a contestant on the show but coming by to promote his new single.

Team Alicia: Stephanie Rice sang White Flag by Dido-- I am not the biggest Stephanie fan but for some reason, I related to this performance. I thought she represented and was strong. Shania said your emotion was pouring out of you. Gwen said she channeled her inner pain and emotion. Alicia said you are the purest artist on this show, and you arranged this. You deserve all the votes to continue being an artist.

Team Gwen: Troy Ramey sang Free Fallin' by Tom Petty-- I am obsessed with Troy and obsessed with his voice and song choice. Shania said I am so blown away, I love all the subtleties of your voice, you're a true stylist, I loved it. Adam said I liked it, I just love listening to you sing. Gwen said your personality came through tonight.

Team Blake: Aliyah Moulden sang Heat Wave by Martha Reeves and The Vandellas-- Aliyah is so bright and so charismatic, her confidence makes her vocals so strong. She is clearly someone to watch in this competition. Shania said Aliyah commanded the stage and is such a professional. Blake has been an incredible influence on you. Blake said you blow me away every time you get on the stage, you take another step towards being a complete artist. Your smile lights up a room and you're becoming a performer.

Team Alicia: Chris Blue sang Love and Happiness by Al Green-- I thought this performance had just so much realness. I loved his energy and just everything about the vocal was so organic. Shania said you can sing anything all day long, you brought it from a cool, collected place to everyone just exploding with you. Alicia said you make things electric. Alicia said America is feeling you.

Team Blake: Lauren Duski sang Lord I Hope This Day is Good by Lee Ann Womack-- Love Lauren's voice, this was a little rough for me in terms of song choice. Shania said you are an honest spirit. Blake said we have been waiting for someone like Lauren on this show.

Team Adam: Lilli Passero sang Man I Feel Like a Woman by Shania Twain-- I feel like Lilli was definitely sick and I could tell. She seemed out of breath about half way through the performance. Shania said you did an amazing job with that song. Adam said I am impressed that you can do whatever you want to do. This is just the beginning.

Team Gwen: Brennley Brown sang Long Long Time by Linda Ronstadt-- Wow, all the ladies were on their feet. This was a beautiful and heartfelt performance. Shania said your technique was great all the way around. This is really as good as it gets. Blake said I don't know if you're still mad at me, but every time you get on stage you blow me away just a little bit more. Gwen said I cannot believe you're on my team.

Team Blake: T Soul sang Always on My Mind by Willie Nelson-- I am a big T Soul fan, my only thing with this song is that it was a little too down, I wanted to hear him do something up, but I think he is going to be around another week. Shania said you have so much soul and heart. Blake said I have never seen anyone get lost in their performance the way you do. T Soul deserves to be here so you have to vote for him.

Team Gwen: Hunter Plake sang Somebody That I Used to Know by Goethe-- This was one of my favorite performances tonight! I loved this, I liked the way he changed it, his vocals were HOT! Shania said she felt like she was at a concert, and she thought the performance was credible. Gwen said it was exciting to see you do something like that.

Team Alicia: Vanessa Ferguson sang A Song for You by Leon Russell-- Vanessa gave just a beautiful and touching performance. The vocals were right on tonight. Shania said Vanessa you are pure class inside and out, you have a sense of style and that really comes out. Alicia said you break down walls inside of all of us.

Bottom 3: Stephanie, Lilli, and Lauren or T Soul

The Voice Season 12: Team Gwen and Team Adam Go LIVE!

Team Gwen:

Johnny Gates sang Hands to Myself by Selena Gomez-- I liked Johnny's different take on this, my only thing with him is that sometimes the performance quality is sloppy. Of course the coaches ate up the performance and praised his return to the show.

Troy Ramey sang A Case of You by Joni Mitchell--  I am feeling Troy's performance. That was absolutely full of tons of emotion. It was so genuine and personal. Adam said you are so intriguing and powerful, your voice is spectacular. Gwen said I saw you in a way I have never seen you before, I think you're incredible.

Quizz Swanigan sang My Girl by The Temptations-- Quizz has a throwback vibe to him, he definitely has that old school voice and quality to him like he's from Motown Records. Alicia appreciated his finesse and grace and confidence. Gwen said he looked adorable, his performance was incredible.

Brennley Brown sang Fly by Maddie & Tae-- Super sleepy song but Brennley is such a talent that she may have just pulled that off. Blake said he made a mistake by letting Brennley go. Gwen said you have so much style, so much personality.

J. Chosen sang Nothing Compares to U by Prince-- King of a strange song choice for J. Chosen but I think he is so good that it doesn't even matter. The comments are redundant tonight.

Hunter Plake sang Elastic Heart by Sia-- Adam said I can see exactly where you're gonna go, you're extremely talented, this is just the beginning for you. I wanted to hear his words more, but the vulnerability that Hunter displays is so consistent.

My predictions to move forward: Troy, Hunter, and either J Chosen or Brennley

Actual Results: Brennley, Hunter, and Gwen saved Troy

Team Adam:

Johnny Hayes sang Ain't Too Proud to Beg by The Temptations-- Adam said I am so proud of how you came out here. I love Johnny's showmanship, he is always entertaining any time he comes out. I think on a normal night he would for sure advance, but tonight will be tough with all the amazing people on Adam's Team.

Hannah Eyre sang Skyscraper by Demi Lovato-- I love Hannah, her vocal was a little bit all over the place, there were some definite pitch issues. Adam kind of said it but in a polite way. He said the more they work together, the more that they will be able to tame the beast that is her voice.

Josh West sang More Than a Feeling by Boston-- Adam said Josh is bad ass. I really like Josh and this is one of my fave classic rock songs. That being said, the vocal was once again very pitchy.

Mark Isaiah sang All Time Low by Jon Bellion-- Probably one of the best vocals of the night, he was one of only a few who didn't have pitch issues during his performance. Gwen said she felt like he did a great job being himself. Adam said give me more time with Mark so I can make him the best version of himself.

Lilli Passero sang It's Too Late by Carole King-- Not loving the song choice but I have actually grown to like Lilli, I wasn't a fan at first. Adam said Lilli is always inside herself when she sings and that is the mark of a great singer.

Jesse Larsen sang Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder-- Loved! That was probably the best performance of the night. It is the best that he is not only a singer but a musician, Jesse is the whole package. Adam said that was soulful, you're like this wizard from another planet, you're white Cee Lo. That was by far the best vocal of the night, no one else sang that good.

My predictions to move forward: Mark, Jesse, and Lilli

Actual Results, Jesse, Lilli, and Adam saved Mark

The Voice Season 12: The LIVES Team Blake and Team Alicia

Team Blake:

Casi Joy sang Parachute by Chris Stapleton-- Blake loved her accuracy and vocal pitch. To me, Casi comes across as a seasoned country artist. I loved that she did Chris Stapleton who is this new age country. I think Casi shows so much versatility, she needs to make it to the final 12. I would be extremely surprised if she didn't.

Felicia Temple, comeback artist! sang Defying Gravity from the musical Wicked-- The song choice was terrible. I did not like this performance at all. I think for her as a comeback artist to be singing this was a risky move. I wouldn't be doing a Broadway musical song, I'd be doing something that truly showcases her big voice.

Aaliyah Rose sang Brass in Pocket by The Pretenders-- Blake thought that this was her best performance. I am unsure what he was hearing but this song was VERY under and off pitch. I also thought that the song somehow came across as too mature for her.

T Soul sang Knock on Wood by Eddie Floyd-- Didn't love the song choice but performance and vocal was stronger in comparison to the past two performances. T Soul stays true to himself as an artist. Blake said that was so much fun, it's what performing is supposed to be all about.

Aliyah Moulden sang Mercy by Duffy-- This was the best of the night so far. Her vocal was strong, she picked a song that suited her voice. Blake called her a real firecracker, and he said it's the best I have seen you sing on this show, and for her, I have to actually agree with his statement there.

Lauren Duski sang Someone Else's Star by Bryan White-- I think if we are having dueling country artist, Lauren wins over Casi tonight. Her vocal really sparkled and it was touching.

Moving on from Team Blake, my predictions: Aliyah Moulden and Lauren Duski, third spot is between Casi Joy and T Soul

The REAL results: Lauren and Aliyah M., Blake saved T Soul

Team Alicia:

Chris Blue sang Love on the Brain by Rihanna-- Gwen said it's unbelievable what you do, mesmerizing, someone as talented as you needs the stage, it's so natural. Alicia was impressed to hear him conquer something new and different. I loved Chris's performance, great song choice for him. It really showed that he has that strong upper register. He has always been one of my favorites, and he truly deserves a top 12 spot.

Anatalia Villaranda sang Stand by Me by Ben E. King-- Alicia said Anatalia has so much personality and feeling. There is nothing stopping her. This was a solid performance, not her best, but depending on how everyone else performs, it could be enough to get her into the final 12.

Jack Cassidy, comeback artist! sang Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me by George Michael and Elton John-- Alicia said I know your family is at home going crazy for this performance. This started out pretty well but once again, there were pitch issues with this performance like so many other pitch issues tonight. He sounded either under pitch or sharp. It just didn't sound go, especially at the end.

Vanessa Ferguson sang Lean On by D,J, Snake and Major Lazer-- I liked how she put her own spin on this song and almost took it from a club song to a classic. Her pitch was pretty on in comparison to almost everyone else. Adam said I am a fan of yours and you're ready for this.

Ashley Levin sang I Can't Stand the Rain by Tina Turner-- Wow, this performance I love, it's sultry, and such a soulful take on the song. Alicia thought she did an incredible job,

Stephanie Rice sang Every Breath You Take by Sting-- I love this song on almost anyone, it's just such an epic lyric. I think Stephanie's story gave the song more power, but do I think she was strong her than three other people on this team, I am unsure.

Moving on from Team Alicia: Chris Blue, Vanessa Ferguson, and Ashley Levin

The REAL results: Chris Blue, Vanessa Ferguson, Alicia saved Stephanie

The Voice Season 12: Cry a Little for the Knockouts

Team Blake: Andrea Thomas singing Cry by Faith Hill vs. Lauren Duski singing When You Say Nothing at All by Allison Krauss-- I like Andrea's voice but I felt like she was trying to mimic Faith rather than singing her own version. Lauren was a little bit more risky in her approach although the song was sleepy.
Blake chose Lauren

Team Alicia: Jack Cassidy singing Unsteady by X Ambassadors vs. Vanessa Ferguson singing If I Were Your Woman by Gladys Knight-- I liked Jack but tonight was not his night, this performance had way too many pitch issues. Vanessa has more experience than Jack and she really rose to the challenge tonight. Adam noted that Jack's performance was off.
Alicia chose Vanessa

Team Adam: Davina Leone sang Toxic by Britney Spears vs. Jesse Larsen singing The Letter by Joe Cocker-- There is something special about Davina and what she does. Jeese knocked it out of the park though. His authentic sound and the rasp in his voice did it for me. Adam compares Jesse to Cee Lo. Gwen likes how Jesse slapped them around.
Adam chose Jesse

Team Adam: Mark Isaiah singing Love Yourself by Justin Bieber vs. Malik Davage--
Adam chose Mark

Team Gwen: Brandon Royal singing Redemption Song by Bob Marley vs. J Chosen singing Without You by Usher-- Adam liked how vulnerable Brandon left himself and J Chosen crushed it. Blake said Brandon is one of his favorites in the competition, but that he would go with J Chosen. Alicia loved how Brandon sang Redemption Song, and when J Chosen sings, it just lets you in. Gwen said Brandon you took that song to a modern place, it was brave. She said J Chosen had such courage tonight, and that both of them are so gifted. I absolutely loved both of these guys. I am sad that Brandon didn't get stolen because his rendition of Redemption Song was so moving. J Chosen definitely deserved to be in the live shows.

Team Blake: Aliyah Moulden singing Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood vs. Caroline Sky singing At Last by Etta James-- Aliyah was great, she really flourished with this song. Caroline on the other hand was quite wobbly and all over the place. Adam said Aliyah it's astonishing that you are this good this quickly, and Caroline your song choice was ambitious. I think I would pick Aliyah.
I agree with Adam, I would too!
Blake chose Aliyah

Team Gwen: Stephanie Rice singing Safe and Sound by Taylor Swift vs. Troy Ramey Chandelier by Sia-- I absolutely loved Stephanie's performance. It was so gentle but strong. Troy is a force, I don't think I could ever see getting rid of him. Adam loved Stephanie but could never part with Troy.
Gwen chose Troy and Alicia stole Stephanie

Loving J Chosen, Aliyah, and Troy

The Voice Season 12: I'd Go Up to the Mountain to Hear these Knockouts

Team Alicia: Anatalia Villaranda singing Two Black Cadillacs vs. Dawson Coyle singing Demons by Imagine Dragons-- Loved both performances. Anatalia's vocal was powerful. her stage presence is a bit much but that can be toned down. Dawson had a real sincerity to his performance.
Alicia chose Anatalia

Team Blake: Enid Ortiz singing When We Were Young by Adele vs. T Soul singing These Arms of Mine by Otis Redding-- Both vocals were impressive. Enid always seems to take performances to the next level, and this was so exception. There was something about T Soul's performance though. It was so throwback, and he really stayed in that whole mindset throughout the performance. The vocal really moved me. Alicia loved T Soul's long notes and was impressed with Enid. Gwen loved T Soul's retro quality. Adam said he would choose T Soul.
Blake chose T Soul

Team Gwen: Aaliyah Rose singing Like I'm Gonna Lose You by Meaghan Trainor and John Legend vs. Brennley Brown singing Up to the Mountain by Kelly Clarkson-- Aaliyah's performance was fun and certainly beyond her 14 years, but Brennley at 15 years of age moved me. Her performance was so genuine and emotional and it got me in my heart. Adam said Brennley gave a Grammy performance. Blake is sorry he let Brennley go. Alicia liked and felt where Aaliyah was coming from but she felt Brennley's performance was impactful.
Gwen chose Brennley and Blake stole Aaliyah

Wow, keep your eye on T Soul and Brennley!

The Voice Season 12: The Knockouts Begin

Team Alicia: Chris Blue singing Superstition by Stevie Wonder vs. Quizz Swanigan singing Chains by Nick Jonas--  Chris has impressed me since day one. With Quizz, I see potential but I wonder if he will get up to where he needs to be now at his age with the time left in the competition. He's definitely talented. Chris is a sure thing though and he already knows who he wants to be. He has to go through. Blake believes Chris could win. Adam thinks Quizz lived up to the challenge of taking Chris on. Gwen thinks Chris is special and can't even believe he is human.
Alicia chose Chris and Gwen stole Quizz

Team Adam: Autumn Turner singing Respect by Aretha Franklin vs. Hannah Eyre singing Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis-- Autumn did a great job being one of the steals from Team Adam. Her vocal was strong on a tough Aretha song but has this song been overdone, possibly. Hannah is just so impressive. Wow, what a vocal. Alicia called Hannah's growth exponential. Gwen loved Hannah's warmth in her vocal. Gwen wanted a better song choice from Autumn. Adam said it was a  tough choice, and he said he is making his decision based on what he can't live without and that's..... Hannah!
Adam chose Hannah

Team Gwen: Hunter Plake singing I Wanna Know What Love is By Foreigner vs. Johnny Gates singing Million Reasons by Lady Gaga-- Hunter's take on the song he chose was original, and it was a sincere take. I could tell he was connected to the song. A part of me thought he would be a one trick pony after his battle performance but this performance made me a believer. Johnny's song choice was spot on like Alicia said. I actually loved both of these guys and I agree with Adam, Johnny is a flat out performer. Adam praised how different Hunter's voice is. Blake said Hunter you're the winner of this knockout.
Gwen chose Hunter

Team Blake: Casi Joy singing My Church by Maren Morris vs. Felicia Temple singing My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion-- I loved Casi's rousing, take me to church rendition, of My Church. It's a great song, obviously catchy. Her vocals were strong, she pushed, and I think both these ladies are going to do their best because they both want to win. Felicia was special tonight, that was a next level performance. I don't know who I would choose, this is too close to call. Alicia thought Casi had a great control, Felicia I had chills on my arm when you were singing. Gwen said Casi has so much confidence, and Felicia I was just shocked, you were unbelievable. Adam said Casi I am a fan of yours, Felicia you had courage. Blake said Felicia, your performances are next level, Casi there is no stopping you. Blake said why did I pair these two together? And Adam said I wish I could be surprised with your stupidity.
Blake chose Casi

Team Adam: Johnny Hayes singing Statesboro Blues by The Allman Brothers Band vs. Josh West singing Carry on my Wayward Son by Kansas-- I loved Johnny's performance, it really oozed authenticity. His performance definitely had a cool vibe to it. Josh did a true rock performance. I honestly think this could go either way. Blake loved Johnny's stage presence, and he loved that Josh took his vocals to a new level. Alicia thought Johnny was incredible, and she felt taken with Josh. Gwen said Josh sang a difficult song, and Johnny was so engaging. Adam said Johnny continues to improve and Josh sang a tough song and is a maniac.
Adam chose Josh

Team Alicia: Ashley Levin singing Fancy by Reba McEntire vs. Lilli Passero singing Tears Dry on their Own by Amy Winehouse--  Liked Ashley, but found her performance a little bit sloppy. Surprisingly, Lilli, who I haven't liked before this round, came out stronger to me here. I loved not only her vocal but her new look. Gwen liked the familiarity and confidence in Ashley's voice. Adam said Ashley's progression is great, but Lilli screams potential winner of the voice. Blake would also go with Lilli. Alicia said she chose Ashley cause she wanted to develop that country soul in her. Adam and Blake are both in to try and steal Lilli.
Alicia chose Ashley, and Lilli chose Adam

Just keep your eye on everyone who advanced tonight....

The Voice Season 12: These Battles Are Hard to Handle

Team Blake: Josh Hoyer versus T Soul singing In The Midnight Hour by Wilson Pickett-- It was okay, but I did not love the song choice. This season in general, the battle round song choices have been awful. Blake said he has to make a tough decision based on his gut feeling.
Blake chose T Soul

Team Alicia: Autumn Turner versus Vanessa Ferguson singing Killing Me Softly by Roberta Flack--  loved Autumn in this. Vanessa had the experience but Autumn has the heart. Gwen loved Autumn's powerful voice. Adam said Vanessa has experience but Autumn was a surprise in this and he said he would steal her. Both Adam and Gwen made a play to steal Autumn.
Alicia chose Vanessa, Autumn chose Adam

Team Adam: Johnny Hayes versus Julien Martinez singing Hard to Handle by Otis Redding-- Both were strong, but Johnny was more comfortable and in his element than Julien was. You can tell that the rock and roll style that comes from Johnny is authentic. Blake liked Johnny's rock voice, and felt like Julien shyed away. Gwen found Julien exciting and Johnny exuded experience.
Adam chose Johnny

Team Gwen: Caroline Sky versus Stephanie Rice singing The First Cut is the Deepest by Rod Stewart-- Caroline was my preference here in terms of growth and sheer vocal ability. I found Stephanie to be so passionate that her vocal was not as controlled. Adam said there's more to learn about Caroline and that's why he'd go with her. Blake said Stephanie has a clearer vision and he'd go with her. Alicia said artistically she's interested in Stephanie but vocally Caroline took this battle.
Gwen chose Stephanie and Blake stole Caroline

Team Adam: Kawan DuBove versus Malik Davage singing Love You Now by John Legend-- For the first time ever on the Voice a duo really got read the riot act in terms of their inability to collaborate. For what it's worth, I felt like Malik worked really hard. There was an effort and urgency there. Blake liked Kawan's falsetto and would give it to him. Gwen said Malik was fiery and had a sense of urgency. Adam said he loves Malik's attitude.
Adam chose Malik

Team Blake: Enid Ortiz versus Valerie Ponzio singing Love Triangle by Rae Lynn, Blake chose Enid
Team Adam: Hannah Eyre versus Sheena Brook singing Try by Pink, Adam chose Hannah
Team Gwen: Jozy Bernadette verus Troy Ramey singing Angel Eyes by Jeff Healy, Gwen chose Troy

Team Alicia: Hunter Plake versus Jack Cassidy singing Dancing on My Own by Robyn-- I loved both of these guys, this battle and this song choice was a dream. Gwen loved the tenderness of Jack's voice and told Hunter that he has to make a record. Adam started out being a big Jack fan but thought Hunter took the battle. Blake said he kept going back and forth and hoped whoever didn't get chosen was stolen.
Alicia chose Jack, Adam and Gwen both made a play for Hunter and he ended up choosing Gwen

Keep an eye on Hunter and Jack, Malik, Hannah, and Autumn

The Voice Season 12: Adorn the Battles

Team Gwen: Johnny Gates versus Sammie Zonana sang I Drove All Night by Celine Dion-- I found this to be a weird pairing and the song choice was strange. I thought they took the song too far away from the melody. Just my take, but I didn't love it. Gwen ended up going with Johnny who was the best choice out of the two.
Gwen chose Johnny

Team Alicia: RJ Collins versus Chris Blue sang Adorn by Miguel-- Masterclass vocals! Both of them sounded amazing. Gwen said Chris was absorbed in the song and she was mesmerized by his body, and she thought RJ's vocal was beautiful. Blake said RJ's stage presence is incredible, but believes Chris will be in the finale. Alicia said she was impressed with RJ's voice and emotion. Alicia said no one else could push for Chris but they would have if they could. Gwen said she wanted to see it again. I loved both but Chris was stronger for me. RJ should get a steal!
Alicia chose Chris

Team Adam: Nala Price versus Josh West sang Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Tears for Fears
Adam chose Josh

Team Gwen: Aaliyah Rose versus Savannah Leighton sang Treat You Better by Shawn Mendes
Gwen chose Aaliyah

Team Blake: Andrea Thomas versus Micah Tryba sang What Hurts the Most by Rascal Flatts
Blake chose Andrea

Team Blake: Aliyah Moulden versus Dawson Coyle sang I'm Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves-- Alicia said she didn't know how to help Blake decide, she said she'd choose Dawson. Gwen loved Aliyah's spirit. Adam remembered Aliyah from the blinds but Dawson impressed him this time around. Blake said that they both got great reactions and there is a youthfulness to them.
Blake chose Aliyah and Alicia stole Dawson

The Voice Season 12: The Battles Begin and I Was Made to Love Them

Team Blake: Lauren Duski versus Brennley Brown sang sang Better Man by Little Big Town-- Wow, they were both great, but I think I would have to go with Brennley on this. Alicia liked Lauren's tone, and Brennley was authentic in her delivery. I am surprised Blake picked Lauren. Both Gwen and Adam are trying to steal Brennley. Adam sang Happy Birthday to Brennley while Gwen told her choosing Team Adam would be a birthday mistake.
Blake chose Lauren and Brennley chose Gwen

Team Gwen: Kenny P. versus J. Chosen sang I Was Made to Love Her by Stevie Wonder-- Adam said I want you on my team J. Chosen and Kenny you're great man. Blake said J Chosen you're so smooth and Kenny has an edginess to his voice. Alicia loved Kenny's high falsettos and the camaraderie between the two of them. Gwen said she doesn't know what she's gonna do. I would go with J. Chosen, he has been a favorite of mine since the beginning.
Gwen chose J Chosen

Team Alicia: Anatalia Villaranda versus Missy Robertson sang Tight Rope by Janelle Monae-- Both ladies had strong vocals, that being said, Anatalia stood out to me. Her phrasing was so fierce and confident. Adam is right, Missy anchored the performance. But at 17, Anatalia is so talented. She could be a finalist this season.
Alicia chose Anatalia

Team Adam: Gaby Borromeo versus Mark Isaiah sang Pillowtalk by Zayn-- Both of these contestants are great. I remember being excited about Mark. Gaby had a record deal with John Legend who is actually helping to mentor Adam's Team. Despite both of them being strong vocalists, Mark won this for me. He's another contestant I see being a major threat in this competition. Gwen thought Mark owned it but liked Gaby's high notes.
Adam chose Mark

Team Alicia: Felicia Temple versus Quizz Swanigan sang Titanium by Sia and David Guetta-- I fel like this was an odd pairing. They are way too different from each other. Both deserve to be in the competition but for very different reasons. Adam and Blake both agree that they would choose Felicia. Gwen would choose Quizz because she can't believe what he can do at 13. Alicia does exactly what I thought and chooses Quizz; however at the last minute, Blake comes in and saves Felicia. I can see her going far.
Alicia chose Quizz and Blake stole Felicia

Team Blake: Ashley Levin versus Casi Joy sang How Blue by Reba McIntyre-- I genuinely enjoyed both of their voices, but I didn't love the song. Blake said he regrets putting them up against each other but feels like it needed to happen. He chose Casi because of her presence. Everyone pushed for Ashley to steal her.
Blake chose Casi and Ashley chose Alicia

Keep an eye on J Chosen, Anatalia, Felicia, and Casi

The Voice Season 12: The Blinds Don't Let Us Down

Vanessa Ferguson sang Don't Let Me Down by The Chainsmokers-- Adam was the only one not to turn and he is smart. I didn't love this performance. The song style was wrong because it didn't really showcase her voice. Blake said he probably doesn't have a chance but Vanessa said that's not true.
Vanessa chose Alicia

Dawson Coyle sang Happiness by NEEDTOBREATHE-- I like this performance was surprised that Blake was the only one who turned for him. It felt sincere, he clearly connected with the lyric. Adam said you made it on to Team Ding Dong.
Blake chose Dawson

Jozy Bernadette sang American Woman by Lenny Kravitz-- Jozy has a great voice, but I wanted this to sound more rock to me. Adam and Gwen turned. Blake of course pushed the Gwen card. Adam said how do I battle an angel?
Jozy chose Gwen.

Sheena Brook sang Baby Girl by Sugarland--Blake's team was full so although he was singing along he couldn't turn for the country girl. Adam ends up being the only one to turn as I am sure it enticed him to have a country singer on his team.
Adam chose Sheena

Chris Blue sang The Tracks of My Tears by Smokey Robinson-- Chris is wow! His soul is clear and evident. He's good, his phrasing and vocal tricks are old school. Mom did good with him. He clearly would have been a four chair turn. He said he learned some of those vocal tricks from Adam and Adam said that that makes him sad because his team is full. Chris tells his beautiful story and all the coaches are moved.
Alicia chose Chris

Keep your eye on Chris Blue, this guy is good!

The Voice Season 12: Hello It's The Blinds

Kenny P. sang Hello It's Me by Todd Rundgren-- Gwen and Blake turn. The performance was okay, but it wasn't necessarily the best song choice. I am also not crazy about his look but I suppose that can be changed. Blake likes the power in his voice, and Gwen sees him as somewhat theatrical.
Kenny chose Gwen

Enid Ortiz sang All I Ask by Adele-- Enid has a really pretty voice, her low register is particularly strong, but she has a good balance and strong dynamic. When she hit the big note, she was great. Gwen wanted to turn but hesitated, and at the last moment, Blake pushed and turned. Enid said Alicia is her spirit animal and Alicia gave her a great pep talk
Blake chose Enid

RJ Collins sang Purpose by Justin Bieber-- I actually had never heard this song, and I loved it. Adam turned almost immediately. Clearly he heard that sincerity in RJ's voice. Not one else turned until he hit the chorus and then Alicia turned. Of course he is going to choose Alicia but Adam would have been an interesting choice for him. Adam believes he could win The Voice. Alicia calls him a beautiful black man and tells him his soul comes through his music.
RJ chose Alicia

Austin Tyler Jones sang Allison by Elvis Costello-- No turns

T Soul sang Take Me to the River by Al Green-- I liked this performance because he was very soulful and did his own interpretation of this song. I know it's been done many times, but I have never heard it like this. Adam and Blake made this a duel between two original Voice coaches. Adam said the way he does it is so unique, and he definitely needs him on his team, and asks him to come home. Alicia made a pitch for Adam saying Adam would get behind him fully. Blake said his voice has all the herbs and spices, and he loves his speaking voice, it's manly. I guess this was the winning pitch cause...
T Soul chose Blake

Andrea Thomas sang Baby Now that I Found You by Allison Krauss-- Former backup singer for Carrie Underwood.Blake was the only one who turned.
Blake chose Andrea

Davina Leone sang Cheap Thrills by Sia-You Tube success,
Gwen chose Davina

Hannah Eyre sang Blank Space by Taylor Swift-- I absolutely live for Hannah's interpretation of this song. It's sweet yet mature. She is beyond poised for a 15 year old. Adam turns first and actually motions for her to calm down cause she is smiling so hard after he turned. Adam calls her sweet Hannah and he said the back end of the song is where she was doing her best. He said he is going to claw and fight. Adam said Blake will bring up Danielle Bradbery. Gwen said she is looking for someone just like Hannah. Blake said her approach is unlike anything he has heard. She has talent, charisma, and her smile makes the room light up. Blake said you're the kind of artist that gets me excited about doing my job as a coach.
Hannah chose Adam

Casey Jamerson chose Shadows of the Night by Pat Benatar-- This was a bit of a mess, no turns

Hunter Plake sang Carry On by fun-- A bit of a strange song choice I felt like. Gwen and Alicia turn to battle it out for Hunter. Alicia likes his unique tone and doesn't have anyone else like him on her team. Gwen says she relates to Hunter.
Hunter chose Alicia

Nala Price sang Send My Love (To Your New Lover) by Adele-- Again, another young person, at only 17, Nala's interpretation of this song is beyond her years. Adam turns right near the beginning followed by Gwen. There were some wobbly points in the performance in terms of pitch but I feel like Nala could easily grow.
Nala chose Adam

Sammie Zonana sang Dangerous Woman by Ariana Grande--  This is an instance where someone changing a song and interpreting it in a different way didn't work. The interpretation really took away the song's seductiveness and femininity. The tone of her voice didn't work with the song in the way that it was way too husky, almost masculine sounding. Gwen was the only one to turn. Alicia commented on the huskiness of her voice. Adam said it was going to turn, but something threw him off.
Gwen chose Sammie

Valerie Ponzio sang Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash-- 4 chair turn! Well deserved! She has a unique tone and rasp in her voice. Her style is almost like country rock. Adam said he heard every single coach in her performance. Gwen said she is actually obsessed with her and would love to work with her. Alicia said I would love to bring out all that jazz and blues influence that inspires you. Blake said when you say country Americana, that is where I can help you. All the coaches teamed up and tried to get Valerie not to pick Blake, but ,,,,,
Valerie chose Blake

My picks to watch this season:

T Soul, Hannah Eyre, and Valerie Ponzio

The Voice Season 12: The Blinds Are A "Sure Thing" Tonight

Johnny Gates sang Maggie May by Rod Stewart-- Gwen said your voice is incredible, you have so much presence. Adam said singing that song is such an amazing thing. Gwen, Bake, and Alicia turned. Blake said I want you to stay in that rock lane.
Johnny chose Gwen

Malik Davage sang Sure Thing by Miguel-- Adam turned right away. I love the smoothness in his voice. I loved when he hit the chorus, his tone is HOT. Adam scored here!
Adam chose Malik

Lauryn Judd sang Girls Just Want to Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper-- Her voice was definitely interesting, and their was so much style and maturity. Gwen said I'd love to work on your voice with you. Alicia said she started hearing a different tone and thought maybe she was two people. Blake told Lauryn to ignore Adam cause he didn't even turn for her.
Lauryn chose Alicia

Paul Adrian sang I Got a Woman by Ray Charles-- no one turned, hope he comes back.

Caroline Sky sang Will You Love Me Tomorrow by Carole King-- Gwen and Blake turned, not surprising. She has a sweet voice, and I could definitely see her working hard in this competition. Alicia thinks she is so talented, Gwen can't believe she is 16. Blake tried making a compelling argument but it didn't work.
Caroline chose Gwen

Josh Hoyer sang Oh Girl by The Chi Lites-- Gwen and Blake are battling it out again. Gwen said she has no one like him on her team. Blake said you should be on the winning team which is why I turned around. Josh definitely has maturity, I love his voice, his tone is unreal. He has a soulful style to his voice.
Josh chose Blake

Who to Watch: Johnny Gates, Lauryn Judd, and Malik Davage

The Voice Season 12 : Blind Auditions Nights 3 and 4 are HOT

Night 3:

Ashley Levin sang Let Him Fly by Patti Griffin-- Ashley has that bluesy old school voice. She got Blake and Gwen to turn at the same time, and then Alicia felt impressed and turned her chair as well.
Alicia said she felt the soul in her voice. Gwen used her connection to Blake to try and get Ashley to choose her. It's pretty clear she is going to choose Blake.
Ashley chose Blake

Brandon Royal sang Master Blaster (Jammin') by Stevie Wonder-- Brandon did a solid job, to me, his personality sold it more than his voice. Blake and Gwen turned their chairs and in the end....
Brandon chose Gwen

Adam Pierce sang A Whiter Shade of Pale-- No turns!

Julien Martinez sang Pride and Joy by Stevie Ray Vaughn-- I loved that scream at the end, and I loved that this was a battle between Blake and Adam. Adam jokingly congratulated him on not being a giant biker dude. Blake said he wants a guy with a manly rocker voice on his team.
Julien chose Adam

Quizz Swanigan sang Who's Loving You by Michael Jackson-- I think Quizz is someone who could have tons of potential. He definitely has star quality and natural talent. His song choice was perfect for him, right in his wheelhouse. Alicia and Gwen turned.
Quizz chose Alicia

Casi Joy sang Blue by Leann Rimes-- Casi just impressed me on the first note. To be able to sing like that, and have mastered the yodeling part of the song perfectly is a true gift. Everyone turned and rightfully so. Gwen said she is always gonna remember that performance and that The Voice has been so inspirational to her. Adam said I would leap over the moon and back for you but because you're voice is truly rooted in country music I am not going to get my hopes up. Alicia tells Casi to focus on her and Gwen. Blake said I took some time to turn because I know that song so well, it's an instant classic. Adam said what he said before was rantings of a mad man and he has changed because she said she wants to sing different genres.
Casi chose Blake

Night 4:

Micah Tryba sang I'm Every Woman by Whitney Houston-- The low register of her voice is very strong, but I'd like to see her work on that higher register. That's why she didn't get a four chair turn. Blake turned right near the beginning followed by his girl Gwen. Adam said that there were a couple of pocket issues. Alicia respected the work she put in to do that song. Gwen said obviously Blake Shelton is really good looking but don't be tempted by that.
Micah chose Blake

Troy Ramey sang Wild World by Cat Stevens-- Wow, Blake turned around right away! I am digging Troy's tone, it's so strong, he has one of those authentic rock voices. That performance is how you do a 4 chair turn! Loved it! Adam said welcome to Team Adam, you have a naturally beautiful temperament and you showed us why you're a contender. Gwen said she loved that he put his own feelings into the song. Alicia said you have lifetimes in your voice Troy, you're super cool. Troy said to Blake my mom is always talking about your dimples, and Blake said bring your mom out. Blake said, Troy you sing like a man.
Troy chose Gwen

Ericka Corban sang Wade in the Water-- no one turned, it was a little bit pitchy.

Jack Cassidy sang One of Us by Joan Osborne-- I love all the inflections in his voice. Jack's uncles are Shaun and David Cassidy. I felt like Jack really connected with that song and Adam turned almost immediately and Alicia turned towards the end. Adam said there were imperfect moments, but that's life. He said he was raised on Elton John, The Eagles etc. Blake said congratulations I can't wait to hear what Alicia has to say right now. Alicia said what's your story, and in that song you sang, I felt your message. Adam said I think you and I grew up listening to the same kind of music so don't underestimate that.
Jack chose Alicia

Kawan DuBose sang Let's Get it On by Marvin Gaye-- OMG! Why didn't Alicia turn?! That was crazy. Adam said you rendered me speechless, and Blake said, Thank GOD. Adam said the only other person who has that kind of falsetto is Prince, you are truly one in a billion. Gwen asked about his musical journey and he said music has always kept him employed. Gwen said we could show you the world the gift God gave you. Blake said I want Kawan on my team. Alicia said you will be the only person like you on Adam's team, and Blake said there is no one on Adam's team. Blake said you have so much personality on stage, I will just get out of your way as your coach.
Kawan chose Adam

Taylor Alexander sang Believe by Cher-- I love how he took that Cher song and did it up country style. Adam is right, who does a song like that? And Adam was the first one to turn and the only one. Adam said welcome to my team, you are so weird and wonderful. Alicia said I love flipping songs like that.
Adam chose Taylor

Gaby Borromeo sang Happy by Leona Lewis-- Her voice was so powerful and I agree with Adam, I am shocked that it wasn't a four chair turn. Only Adam and Blake turned, and Gwen and Alicia didn't. Blake said by the end of that, it was an incredible performance. Blake said there's no one like you on my team, I have a bunch of country singers, I don't have anyone with purple hair. Adam is right, you could win this, and it would be a shame if you let someone like Adam screw it up for you. Adam said he has been passed on from production company to production company and knows directly what Gaby feels like.
Gaby chose Adam

Griffin Tucker sang Heartbreak Hotel by Elvis Presley-- Griffin is only 14, wow, he has a mature voice. No one turned but he should definitely come back.

Missy Robertson sang Scars to Your Beautiful-- I honestly thought no one was going to turn, and then at the last minute Blake and Alicia turned. Aaliyah Rose sang Rise Up by Andra Day-- I loved the intent of the performance, it was genuine and sweet. It's crazy that she is only 14, and I feel like she definitely has things to work on cause like Gwen said she lost control in the middle of the performance.
Gwen chose Aaliyah

Josh West sang Ordinary World by Duran Duran-- 4 chair turn! Well deserved! He was so good, his falsetto is incredible, I cannot believe he is 17. Adam talked about how he would be great doing Soundgarden. Alicia said it was an awe inspiring performance. Blake said he loves the 90s, and I am a fan of rock music. Gwen said I love your voice more than any of these coaches.
Josh chose Adam
