The Knockouts Continue on Season 10 of The Voice

Team Blake: Peyton Parker singing Traveling Soldier by The Dixie Chicks versus Adam Wakefield singing Bring It On Home to Me by Sam Cooke-- I thought Adam won this. Peyton has a great country voice, but her nerves kicked in, and Adam is just so special, and the coaches have made it clear that this could be his last chance. Christina said she has a little crush on Adam and finds his voice sexy. Coach Adam said he thinks Adam is pretty great too.
Blake chose Adam

Team Pharrell: Moushumi singing The New Americana by versus Nick Hagelin singing Lost Without You by Robin Thicke-- I didn't love Moushumi's performance, I definitely see what Pharrell likes about her. Unless Nick messes up big time I would pick him. Adam said Nick really engaged the crowd, overall it was good, and I think there is more to be seen from you. I think all the coaches chose Nick. Christina admitted that Nick should not have gone home. Wow, Pharrell, I don't think Moushumi is going to make it past the lives.
Wow Pharrell picked Moushumi, I would not have done that.

Team Christina: Maya Smith singing No One by Alicia Keys versus Tamar Davis singing Lay Me Down by Sam Smith-- For me, both ladies were pretty awesome. I could take either one. Pharrell said, Christina, your team is fireball after fireball. Both of you are superheros. Adam said, Maya another side of you came out, and Tamar, damn, your performance was bonkers, crazy. Blake said Tamar you're so strong, and Maya your range surprised us all. I'd give the edge to Tamar.... Blake, I agree with you.
Christina chose Tamar

Wow, Nick and Maya were both amazing and were good enough to be stolen and it just didn't happen! Adam and Tamar are going to be great in this thing.

Season 10 The Voice: It's Time for the Knockouts

The Knockouts!

Team Blake: Paxton Ingram singing Hometown Glory by Adele versus Angie Keilhauer singing Take Your Time by Sam Hunt-- I love this Sam Hunt song but I honestly didn't think this was the right song for Angie. I thought Paxton's confidence really came across and I would go with Paxton because he had a better connection to the song. Pharrell said the song didn't measure up to Angie and her vocal. Christina liked how Paxton dipped into the juicy low part of his voice. Adam likes what Angie puts into every performance. He said Paxton's voice is so different and that's worth it's weight in gold. Blake chose Paxton

Team Adam: Owen Danoff  singing Always a Woman by Billy Joel versus Ryan Quinn singing Drops of Jupiter by Train-- Pharrell didn't feel Ryan was as connected to the song as he normally is. He would personally choose Owen. Adam said do I choose Ryan and his efficiency or do I choose the something special in Owen? Adam said he had to go with his heart because Owen gave a piece of his heart and soul to the performance. I like both of them, I think in the short run I would go with Owen and in the long run I would go with Ryan. Owen gave the best performance here but down the road, Ryan could rise to the occasion.
Adam chose Owen and Christina stole Ryan

Team Pharrell: Malik Heard singing Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder versus Hannah Huston House of the Rising Sun by The Animals-- Hannah slayed this, her vocal control was unreal. However, Malik is talented for someone his age, he has some pitch problems, but this is someone who has a lot of potential. Adam called Hannah's performance "bonkers", and thought Malik did an amazing job. Blake said standing ovation for Hannah, and thought Malik was so entertaining. Christina felt Malik's joy and thought Hannah's choices were cleverly placed.
Pharrell chose Hannah

Team Blake: Katie Basden singing Gypsy by Fleetwood Mac versus Lacy Mandigo singing Zombie by The Cranberries-- I preferred the gentle strength of Katie's performance. I liked Lacy's fierceness but honestly, it wasn't as controlled as it should have been. Christina thought Katie was strong and clear. Pharrell said he would give this knockout to Katie. Adam said Katie is phenomenal but Lacy has enormous potential.
Blake chose Katie because of how she transformed the song, and Pharrell and Adam tried to steal Lacy, and Lacy picked Pharrell

Team Christina: Alisan Porter singing River by Joni Mitchell versus Daniel Passino Ain't Too Proud to Beg by The Temptations--  Alisan's performance was flawless for me, but Daniel didn't give anything up, he fought all the way. Pharrell thought Daniel slayed it and his ambition was great, and Pharrell finds Alisan a seasoned artist. Adam said Daniel has what it takes, and Alisan you're something special and we're gonna see more of you. Blake said both of you sing incredibly well, Alisan won because pain connects so well. Christina hates that someone has to go. I think it's too bad that Daniel could not get stolen as he was so good as well.
Christina chose Alisan

Team Pharrell: Emily Kenner singing Big Yellow Taxi by Joni Mitchell versus Shalyah Fearing singing A Broken Wing by Martina McBride-- I find Emily rather pitchy, and I don't love the song choice. I would definitely pick Shalyah, she had so much commitment to the performance. Adam said Shalyah was a revelation to him, and damn, I dare Pharrell to make you available to me. Blake said he loves the song Shalyah chose, and he agrees with Adam, she took this one. Christina thought this was the finale show and that Shalyah just won The Voice. Pharrell said Shalyah you were swinging for the parking lot. You are both so much more musically mature than most adults, you both killed it.
Pharrell chose Emily. I am shocked! Adam, you better steal Shalyah! Adam stole Shalyah. I am still shocked.

Keep your eye on Shalyah, Alisan, Hannah, and Paxton

The Voice Season 10: The Battles Come to a Close

Team Adam: Laith Al-Saadi versus Matt Tedder singing Honky Tonk Woman by The Rolling Stones-- I like both of these guys, wish both of them could move forward. I think Laith is the better voice but Matt is the better musician. Blake identified with Matt's voice, and said that Laith sang his face off. Christina said she would go with Laith. Adam said Matt is a tremendous guitar player, and Laith blows everyone away with his voice. He said I like the challenge of someone like Laith, but I love teaching someone like Matt.
Adam chose Laith

Team Pharrell: Caity Peters versus Joe Vivona singing Honesty by Billy Joel-- I didn't love this song choice for either one of them, it just didn't feel like they connected. However, I preferred Joe because of his tone and the growth he experienced in this round. Christina said Caity seemed less strained. Blake liked all the special things in Joe's voice.
Pharrell chose Caity

Lightning Rounds---

Team Blake: Gina Castanzo versus Peyton Parker singing Borderline by Madonna, Blake chose Peyton

Team Christina: Ayanna Jahnee versus Joe Maye singing I Knew You Were Waiting For Me by George Michael, Christina chose Joe

Team Adam: John Gilman versus Owen Danoff singing Runaway by Del Shannon, Adam chose Owen

Team Blake: Brittany Kennell versus Trey O'Dell singing The Chain by Fleetwood Mac-- I thought that they were pretty evenly matched but I would go with Brittany. Pharrell said that they both shine. Adam said that where Trey was tight in his vocal, Brittney was fluid, and he would go with her in this battle.
Blake chose Brittany, and Christina used the final steal on Troy

The Voice: Season 10 The Battles Are Fierce

Team Blake: Adam Wakefield versus Jared Harder singing Can't You See by The Marshall Tucker Band -- I lean more towards Adam because he is a natural born performer. Pharrell talked about Jared's soul and how Adam continues to come from out of nowhere. Adam said that Adam is so authentic, he said Jared is just as capable but he thinks a little bit more. Blake thought both of them sounded like a band together, and was pleased with both of them.
Blake chose Adam

Team Pharrell: Emily Kenner versus Jonathan Bach singing Explosions by Ellie Goulding-- Adam thought Jonathan did a great job and hung in there with Emily. Blake felt like he was watching a theatrical performance, and sided with Emily. Christina felt Jonathan gave himself to the performance and her vote would be for him. Pharrell said the song was not in Emily's wheelhouse but she continued to push and Jonathan made the song his own. Tough one, but for me, I would definitely go with Jonathan-- I think he grew more.
Pharrell chose Emily

Team Christina: Daniel Passino versus Kristen Marie singing Turning Tables by Adele-- I thought Daniel was the better choice, he sang so eloquently. Adam said Daniel had a better idea of where he wanted to go, Daniel you sang beautifully. Blake said I pushed my button for both of you, I would go for Daniel because I understood his vocal so clearly. Christina thought that they were so well connected to the song. I'm going to go with who I think is more sure of themselves.
Christina chose Daniel

Team Pharrell: Jonathan Hutcherson versus Moushumi singing Photograph by Ed Sheeran-- Pharrell chose Moushumi

Team Adam: Katherine Ho versus Lily Green singing Lovefool by The Cardigans-- Adam chose Katherine

Team Blake: Angie Keilhauer versus Teresa Guidry singing Backseat of a Greyhound Bus by Sara Evans-- Blake chose Angie

Team Pharrell: Abby Celso versus Brian Nhira singing Sugar by Maroon 5-- Fave battle of the night, I loved both of them. Adam said excellent song choice. Adam was impressed by Brian's full voice. Blake said he loved Abby's rock growl. Christina loved listening to Brian sing, and Abby, you had different textures in your voice. I thought Brian's voice was flawless, it was just such a pleasure listening to him.
Pharrell chose Abby .... Adam and Christina went for the steal with Brian...... Brian chose Adam

Team Adam: Caroline Burns and Mike Schiavo singing Like I'm Gonna Lose You by Meghan Trainor and John Legend-- I actually would go with Mike on this, I just thought he seemed more comfortable in this battle. Blake said he would go with Caroline because he felt like Mike gave the battle to her. Christina said she would go with Mike because he seemed to be the more consistent of the two. Pharrell thought Caroline took advantage of the opportunity, but Mike "killed it". Adam said both of them worked very hard to get there.
Adam chose Caroline

Team Christina: Alisan Porter and Lacy Mandigo singing California Dreamin' by The Mamas and The Papas-- I was a little bit unimpressed with this because to me, it sounded like a bunch of runs strung together. Pharrell and Adam found Alisan to be the stronger singer of the two. Blake said he agreed with Adam's point, but in another way didn't agree with him. Christina said she was moved by both of them.
Christina chose Alisan and Blake stole Lacy

Tuesday, March 15, 2016

The Voice Season 10: The Battles Are in Full Swing

Team Christina: Shalyah Fearing versus Tamar Davis sang Lady Marmalade by Patti LaBelle-- In this battle, I'd give it to Tamar because she's the more experienced singer. Shalyah is young and skilled but my issue is she sounded like she was screaming at times.
Christina chose Tamar and surprisingly Shalyah was stolen by Pharrell

Team Blake: Justin Whisnant versus Mary Sarah sang Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man by Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn-- They were both great, but if I were picking for my team, Mary is a star. Christina said she enjoyed both of them and this would be a tough choice. Pharrell liked the way Justin controlled his verbratto and Mary's showmanship. Blake was proud of both of them, but decided to go with who he thought was a little stronger.
Blake chose Mary

Pharrell's adviser is Sean Combs
Team Pharrell: Jessica Crosbie versus Nick Hagelin sang Electric Feel by MGMT-- Diddy told them to feel the funk, feel the pocket. Jessica came out strong, but so did Nick, I really liked their stage presence and how they worked the stage together. They really took Diddy's notes well. Adam said Jessica broke his heart when she didn't choose him. Blake thought Nick spent a lot of time in his falsetto, and he liked it, and would go with Nick. Christina said if I had to pick I'd go with Nick for the high note. Pharrell said they both brought it. He liked that Nick went for the note he gave him about the full note, and he liked how Jessica took Puff's note.
Pharrell chose Nick and at the last minute, Adam stole Jessica! Yes! Both of them deserved to move on.

Team Christina: Chelsea Gann versus Kata Hay sang The Only One by Melissa Etheridge-- Unimpressed, this was a little bit throw away for me. I guess I would pick Kata based on the fact that I liked her blind audition better.
Christina chose Kata

Team Adam: Natalie Yacovazzi versus Nate Butler sang Hollow by Tori Kelly-- Blake says Natalie has originality, and Nate sounds a lot like Adam and he is pitch perfect. Christina said this is neck in neck. I liked both of them, but I would give the edge to Nate, personal preference.
Adam chose Natalie

Team Pharrell: Hannah Huston versus Maya Smith sang Elastic Heart by Sia-- Diddy talked to both of them. He told Maya to be more confident and he told Hannah to show more attitude. I liked Hannah's tone more, but I thought Maya grew a lot. Adam liked Hannah's presence and confidence. Blake said Hannah is intense and Maya seemed a little more free. Christina felt like their vibrattos were both strong.
Pharrell chose Hannah

The Voice Season 10: The Blinds End and The Battles Begin

Jared Harder sang Merry Go 'Round by Kacey Musgraves-- Blake is the only who turned for this country singer and with that.... Blake filled his team.
Blake picked James

Moushumi sang Wicked Game by Chris Isaak-- I love the intrigue in her vocal, she is someone that would have been a four chair turn had Blake's team not been full. The coaches all battled it out and, in the end....
Moushumi chose Pharrell

Katie Basden sang Midnight Rider by The Allman Brothers-- Another three chair turn, wow, they saved some really good people til the end. I liked her performance too, and the vocal was strong. Blake tried to get Katie not to pick Adam, but she ended up choosing him.
Katie chose Adam

Jonathan Hutcherson sang You & I by ?-- I found the song choice to be a little bit off, but I think this young man has potential, and where there's potential, Pharrell will turn.
Pharrell picked Jonathan

Ayanna Jahnee sang Skyfall by Adele-- This young woman's voice is spectacular. Christina didn't keep her waiting, and turned indicating that  her team is full.
Christina picked Ayanna

The Battles Begin!

Adam's advisor is Tori Kelly
Team Adam: Katie Basden versus Ryan Quinn sang Maybe I'm Amazed by Paul McCartney-- Katie impressed me, I thought Ryan was gonna kill it, but I think they were both great. This should be a difficult choice. Pharrell said he felt Ryan's intention, and Katie's voice seems limitless. Adam said he wishes he could climb in a hole, he felt Ryan had soul and he was impressed by Katie. Christina and Blake are both trying to steal Katie! Christina said don't go with Blake the copycat. Blake praised her great voice, and said the only reason he didn't pick her is because his team was full.
Adam chose Ryan and Blake stole Katie

Blake's advisor is Gwen Stefani
Team Blake: Brittney Lawrence versus Paxton Ingram sang I Know What You Did Last Summer by Shawn Mendes and Camila Caballo-- Pharrell said Brittney's performance needed dynamics and found Paxton impressive, and he would choose him. Adam said this is a matter of preference for Blake. I thought hands down Paxton won this, he is a full out performer, and his vocals were unique. Blake said Paxton is a vocal ninja and has great range.
Blake chose Paxton

Christina's advisor is Patti LaBelle
Team Christina: Bryan Bautista versus Malik Heard sang It's a Man's Man's World by James Brown-- Pharrell said the crowd was standing up, we stood up, it was amazing. Someone is getting stolen. Adam said I think I am gonna be one of y'all's coach. Blake said incredible performances by both of you. I liked both of them, Bryan's voice is strong and masculine.... Malik's voice is so soulful, I just loved his runs. Christina said Bryan, your falsetto notes, and Malik you're just such a skilled singer, and she said she is humbled to work with both of them. I can't choose personally, I don't know how Christina will. All three guys were in the running to steal Malik. Adam said he can get better than Bryan with his coaching. Blake said you have the potential to win this thing. Blake said just because Adma is dressed like he is leaving the gym doesn't make him a good coach.
Christina chose Bryan and Malik chose Pharrell on the steal

The Top Eight Turn to Six on American Idol Season 15

Duets:

LaPorsha Renae and Trent Harmon sang See You Again by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth

Avalon Young and Sonika Vaid sang Rise Up by Andra Day

Dalton Rapattoni and MacKenzie Bourg sang I Want it That Way by The Backstreet Boys

Lee Jean and Tristan McIntosh sang I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing by Aerosmith

Best duet goes to LaPorsha and Trent; they were meant to sing together. <3 nbsp="" p="">
Solos:

LaPorsha Renae sang Come Together by The Beatles-- Jenn said you give us full diva every time you get up there. Harry said I never understood what those lyrics meant, but for some reason, I knew what you were singing about. Keith said any song is a great song for you. LaPorsha projects a level of coolness when she sings, but the best thing by far besides her tremendous is the way in which she controls it. She could win this entire thing.

MacKenzie Bourg sang You Are So Beautiful by Joe Cocker-- Harry said you couldn't have picked a better song, I felt you were really connected to it. Keith said it speaks volumes to me that you picked that song, it means you know who you are. You made that song sound brand new. Jenn loves MacKenzie's mix of old and new. I agree with all the judges' comments-- the song was really catered to his sound and style. I loved it.

Trent Harmon sang Stand by Me by Ben E. King-- Jenn thinks Trent is bad-ass, and thought it was awesome. Harry said he had fun with the melody. This guy continues to majorly impress me. I don't think has has made one false move in this competition. If anyone could be a lock for the finale, it would be him, he just has such a natural ability.

Tristan McIntosh sang A Broken Wing by Martina McBride-- Jenn said you have a perfectly suited country voice, and you did a really good job with that song. Harry agreed with Jenn. Keith said your voice is tailor made for that song. I loved the risk she took with the notes, and it worked because she chose a song that worked so well for her voice that I didn't care that she missed a high note.

Dalton Rapattoni sang Eleanor Rigby by The Beatles-- Keith liked the dark under-current he brought out in that song. Jenn loved the theatrics of his performance, and she loved that he ended the song on a big note. I think the performances of Dalton's that I like the most are the ones where he flips a song and makes it totally creative and his own.

Avalon Young sang P.Y.T. by Michael Jackson-- Keith said your voice and coolness boxes are checked. Jenn doesn't understand why she is in the bottom three again. She wants her to try going out of her comfort zone next week if she is around. Harry thinks her voice is incredible. He thinks maybe she needs to have a little more urgency-- there's a difference between laid back and captivating. Her performance quality is so amazing, it's like she's been on a stage forever. I love how every time she starts singing she is her comfort zone.

Lee Jean sang Let It Be by The Beatles-- Jenn liked this performance for him, but thinks that it may not be enough, she thinks it was a tiny bit shaky. Harry said very emotional, very smart, you committed to the lyrics, and you were sharp. Pitch was a bit of an issue this time. Keith said trying to reign the nerves in is tough, but your tone is gorgeous. It's nice to see this different side of Lee. It's like there's this intuitive side to him that I have never seen before, very thoughtful as he sings.

Sonika Vaid sang I Have Nothing by Whitney Houston-- Harry thinks of this song as a high risk, high reward song, and he loved it. Keith said if you're here next week, continue to release. Jenn said that's my favorite Whitney song, but I think you did a good job. I thought her voice was great, I think Sonika can sometimes lack emotional connection.

Wow, I would have given the save to Avalon....

Moving on..... bottom two next week is Dalton and Sonika. The four remaining contestants are untouchable.... LaPorsha, MacKenzie, Trent, and Tristan

Tuesday, March 8, 2016

Tamar Davis sang Chain of Fools by Aretha Franklin-- Wow this girl was in the first version of Destiny's Child, and she has sung for Prince and knows Tyler Perry! What?! She has a fierce and strong voice. Christina turned right away, and although this is practically a lock Blake turned at the end just to make it interesting. Christina will help her to step out of the background and...
Tamar chose Christina

Jessica Crosby sang Viva La Vida by Coldplay-- I liked this performance, and the creativity in the arrangement, but there were some breath and pitch issues. Everyone turned except Blake, and in the end although Jessica talked about listening to Maroon 5, she went with someone else.
Jessica chose Pharrell

Justin Whisnant sang  Ain't Worth the Whiskey by Cole Swindell-- Adam turned immediately.... besides being extremely good looking Justin has a great voice. Blake finally turned and Adam is so irritated, I can tell. This guy is authentic country. Blake said he has style, and Adam said unlike you. Adam said I thought you were ridiculously good, and I wanted to turn around and let you know that. I care about great talent and that's what you are. Adam was like..... this is Blake, I don't know where you're from in Oklahoma..... Justin.... that's okay, I still choose you Blake!
Justin chose Blake

Jackie Lipson X's and O's by Elle King-- No one turned but Christina told her to come back and try a different song.

Daniel Passino sang Marvin Gaye by Charlie Puth-- Daniel has a smooth and jazzy voice, his voice lends itself well to this song. Christina turned right away and liked what she was hearing. Blake made it in under the radar. Blake said I am a fan, I love your falsetto, and I am a fan of New Boston where you're from.
Daniel chose Christina

Owen Danoff sang Don't Think Twice It's All Right by Bob Dylan-- Adam, Christina, and Pharrell all turned at the beginning. He has an old school voice. He's so unique, I could see him going far in this competition. Blake joins them at the end to complete the 4 chair turn. Christina said it seems like you feel music with your heart. Adam said what I love is what you love. Blake said to give them being partners a chance. And Pharrell told him to feel his decision.
Owen chose Adam

Maya Smith sang Do Right Woman, Do Right Man by Aretha Franklin-- Her voice was thick, and beautiful. Christina and Pharrell turned, she gave it a good fight saying that she can only imagine all the song she can give her to sing.
Maya chose Pharrell

Nolan Neal sang Drive by Incubus-- Nolan has a heck of a story, and all the coaches admitted that they were crazy for not turning around. This guy must come back and sing Aerosmith.

Brittney Lawrence sang Warrior by Demi Lovato-- Christina turned right away, and Blake waited til the last minute to push.. I actually liked how understated and controlled the whole performance was. Adam said Blake has been doing this sneaky thing and waiting to push his button, and I just thought you should know because it's important you have a coach who is forthcoming. Christina loved the contrast of loud and soft and the control in her voice. Surprisingly...
Brittney chose Blake

Lightning Rounds!
Teresa Guidry sang Girl Crush by Little Big Town and chose Blake
Chelsea Gann sang Wild Angels by Martina McBride and chose Team Christina
Lily Green sang Songbird by Fleetwood Mac and chose Team Adam

Matt Tedder sang I'm Your Hoochie Coochie Man by Muddy Waters-- Adam was the only turn which I am amazed about because Matt to me is an old soul with crazy good musical talent. Adam said he is a tremendous slide guitar player with a soulful voice. Adam added that he is overjoyed to have him on his team. Pharrell said he felt like Matt comes from a completely different era.
Adam chose Matt

Joe Maye sang I Put a Spell on You by Screamin Jay Hawkins-- Christina turned and then Blake once again came in at the end. Blake said you sang that song like you were pissed. Joe sang Word Up! last season and no one turned. This was redemption for him, and it was a much better song choice. He has lots of soul in his voice, he will need to work on controlling it. Christina made her argument and then Blake said pick someone who can win, pick me. Christina then decided to get up on stage and sing Joe's blind audition song as a duet.
Joe chose Christina

Who to Watch?
Tamar, Justin, Owen, and Matt

The Voice Season 10: Blinds Continue with Amazing 4 Chair Turn

Hannah Huston sang Unaware by Allen Stone-- I was getting scared that no one was going to turn. Then all of a sudden, everyone except Adam turned in the end. I thought this girl was great, I am glad she didn't sing something so mainstream, but instead, she sang something that was her vibe. I loved it. I think she could go far, that voice is soulful.
Hannah chose Pharrell

Brian Nhira sang Happy by Pharrell-- This guy can clearly sing, I think I loved him even more when he sang Jesus Loves Me, he clearly would be a gospel singer. Blake and Pharrell turned for him, and I felt like Blake didn't have a chance!
Brian chose Pharrell

Asya sang Say Something by A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera-- No one turned. Christina said she wanted a little less power and a little more emotion.

Brittany Kennell sang Strong Enough by Sheryl Crow-- she had some great tone in her voice. Blake said that Christina mentioned that she sounds like Gwen, another girl he likes. Blake said, I really like you. Pharrell also talked about the unique tone in her voice.
Brittany chose Blake

Natalie Yacovazzi sang Mr. Know it All by Kelly Clarkson-- Woah! Why did no one turn except Adam?! Well whatever, Adam said he had to keep his poker face on so that the other judges wouldn't turn. She said Adam inspired her to come back. I loved her voice and her performance, this was a great Blind Audition song.
Adam chose Natalie

Malik Heard sang Chains by Nick Jonas-- Pharrell and Christina turned. Pharrell said he would love to have Malik on his team, and he's been making records since he was 18. Christina said she loves nurturing artist. I liked the smooth quality in Malik's voice, and I think he is something who has potential to grow which is important in a competition like this, so he will do well.
Malik chose Christina

Peyton Parker sang Dreams by Fleetwood Mac-- Absolutely love the tone in this girl's voice. Christina and Pharrell turned right away, followed by Blake. The audience is really into her performance and are clapping along. Beautiful story-teller quality to her voice, I love it. Adam, you're an idiot for not turning! Pharrell asked her what type of artist she is, and she said she's a songwriter. Christina said there is no one on my team like you. Blake said your voice is so soft and cuts through.
Peyton chose Blake

Gina Castanzo sang Cecilia and the Satellite and chose Blake
Trey O'Dell sang Geronimo and chose Blake

Kristen Marie sang Mad World by Tears for Fears-- Blake and Christina turned for Kristen who is someone that I could see being very versatile. Blake wanted her to pick him because she is from Oklahoma. Christina said I want to help you as an artist rise above in this competition.
Kristen chose Christina

Nate Butler sang The Walk by Mayer Hawthorne-- All three guys turned at the last minute. I found Nate's falsetto and vocal impressive. Adam is right, he did have some trouble with the transitions but he was good enough to get by and Adam is good enough to help him.
Nate chose Adam

Ryan Quinn sang Can't Find My Way Home by Blind Faith-- Omg! I loved Ryan's voice, he reminded me so much of Sting. This was a four chair turn and for good reason. Adam said he is jealous of his tone and his claws are out to get Ryan on his team. Christina said that everyone would love Ryan on their team. Blake urged Ryan to let him help him to the best he can be. Pharrell said good will is always rewarded in the end.
Ryan chose Adam

Who to watch....

Hannah, Peyton, and Ryan

American Idol Season 15: The Final 8 Perform and Demi Lovato Sings!

Dalton Rapattoni sang Radioactive by Imagine Dragons-- I like Dalton, and there isn't much he could do to make me not like him. However, I do not feel this was the best song for him. Hopefully people remember him and he shines through in terms of comparison to other performances.
Score: 8 out of 10

Lee Jean sang Use Somebody by Kings of Leon-- Jenn liked the song for him, but felt like he needed more power behind it. Keith didn't like the song for him because he wanted him to do something different with it. This was also a little weak for me, again, love Lee, but this didn't move me.
Score: 7 out of 10

Sonika Vaid sang Since You Been Gone by Kelly Clarkson-- Keith said he wanted more attitude. Jenn said it didn't feel the same as last week in terms of attitude. I liked the idea of Sonika doing this song, but I didn't love the performance, not like last week.
Score: 7 out of 10

MacKenzie Bourg sang I Wanna Dance with Somebody by Whitney Houston-- Best performance of the night so far. It was creative and fully realized. MacKenzie's vocal was so easy, and I really liked it. Harry said he would have thought of a more inventive way to do the arrangement.
Score: 9 out of 10

Laporsha Renae sang Halo by Beyonce-- Harry said that Laporsha forces him to think of every song from a new and different perspective every time. Best female performance of the night so far. I feel like this song is a little bit  overdone but Laporsha did manage to make is sound new.
Score: 9 out of 10

Trent Harmon sang When a Man Loves a Woman by Percy Sledge-- Harry said he has greatly improved. Keith said he is a really great singer. Jenn said everything is you, and you're amazing. You have a special voice, and don't change anything. She said she had a vision of Laporsha and Trent at the end. The song was little old school for me, but Trent's voice just transcends anything.
Score: 9 out of 10

Tristan Mcintosh sang Go Rest High on that Moutain by Vince Gill-- Stunning vocal, she is very lucky, because based on last week, she should have been going home. Keith thought it was a great song for her. Harry likes her as a country singer and thought that song was very moving.
Score: 9 out of 10

Avalon Young sang Earned It by The Weeknd-- Vocally, she is magic to me. That performance had tons of attitude and swag, and she sounded like shades of Alicia Keys to me. Jenn said when you're in your comfort zone, there is no one like you. Harry said you needed a fantastic performance, and that was. And you look beautiful natural, do what's right for you. Keith liked that she made the performance her own.
Score: 10 out of 10

Olivia Rox sang Trouble by Pink-- I thought that was an off song choice for her, but she did the best she could with it. Harry thought it was energetic, but he didn't see any vulnerability. He did say her talent is undeniable. Keith said this is not an easy decision. Jenn said everything said it was a good performance, but song choice makes the difference on a night like this.
Score: 8 out of 10

Gianna Isabella sang If I Ain't Got You by Alicia Keys-- Jenn thinks she has a truly blessed voice, and she gave it her all. Harry thinks she is transformed and she does have a vocal gift. Gianna's performance was strong too! Everyone did a great job. It's too bad that it was these three girls in the bottom.
Score: 9 out of 10

Bottom 2 is Lee and Sonika

The Blind Auditions Continue on Season 10 of The Voice

Joe Vivona sang Dreaming with a Broken Heart by John Mayer-- All the guys turned. Pharrell liked his interesting tone. I found Joe's voice captivating, hen he started singing, everyone in the room was silent. He said he would pick his 95 year old grandfather's favorite so he picked Pharrell.
Joe chose Pharrell

Shalyah Fearing sang What is Love from Empire-- Christina was the only one who turned. I liked Shalyah, I do think she needs work though, being young she needs to gain better control of her voice, and I think Christina can help her with that. She may be a diamond in the rough.
Christina picked Shalyah

Adam Wakefield sang Tennessee Whiskey by George Jones-- Adam is one of my favorites because he is a southern rocker, and I love the tone and sound of his voice. Adam turned right away whereas Blake turned later. Adam said he didn't just hear country but he heard southern rock and blues. Blake said, you get my excited about country music. Adam pleaded with Adam to pick him because he wants his more than Blake.
Adam chose Blake

Caroline Burns sang So Far Away by Carole King-- Great song choice for Caroline, she needs to work on her breath control, but I like her, and I think she has as good a chance as anyone else at winning this. Adam turned first and talked about how much she improved. Blake turned at the last minute and tried to sway Caroline to pick him.
Caroline chose Adam

Natalie Clark sang All Right Now by -- I loved the rocker/ rasp in her voice. I thought it was great. I don't get why no one turned for her.

Emily Keener sang Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John-- 4 chair turn! That was gorgeous, I love what she did with the song, and her voice is so strong, and has so much control. I cannot believe she is only 16 years old. Blake said she is unbelievable. Adam said I zeroed in on what you were doing, and I loved it. Pharrell said it was breathtaking, you used all of your voice. Christina called her special and said her performance was beautifully controlled and honest. Blake spoke again and said he is a super fan and said that their partnership makes sense.
Emily chose Pharrell

Laith Al-Saadi sang The Letter by Joe Cocker-- Sweet, this guy opened for the King... B.B. King! I loved the experience and maturity in his voice and his performance quality. Adam and Blake turned at the same time. Blake said you're just such a great singer. Adam loved the control of his voice, and he loved how he shreds. Adam said you're a guitar player who sings, you should be on my team, we make the most sense.
Laith chose Adam

Angie Keilhauer sang I Hold On by Dierks Bentley-- All three guys turned. I actually really liked her performance, her tone is so round and full sounding. Pharrell said she had so much control. Adam said you kept getting better and better, it was a raw sound. Blake said you're undisciplined when you perform. Adam said he would fight for her, it's different than when I hear other country singers.
Angie chose Blake

Lightning Round--
Lacy Mandigo sang Son of a Preacher Man by Dusty Springfield, and she chose Christina
Jonathan Bach sang Born this Way by Lady Gaga, and he chose Pharrell
Katherine Ho sang Wildest Dreams by Taylor Swift, and she chose Adam

Theron Early sang Amazed by Lonestar-- I loved his voice! Why didn't anyone turn?! I hope that he comes back, he was better than some of the people who are in the competition.

Kata Hay sang Redneck Woman by Gretchen Wilson-- I loved this performance! She was fierce. I am actually surprised that Blake did not turn, she is a bonafied country artist. Kata told Blake that she thought he would be the only one to turn. She called Christina her first girl crush. She jumped into Adam's arms.

Look out for Adam, Emily, and Kata
