We all know what happened this year on American Idol. I know that they talked about a girl winning since one hadn't one since Season 6 when Jordin Sparks took that honor. I must admit that I had no doubts along the way and I wondered whether or not a girl would really win. Having an all female top five though? I never would have thought. Janelle Arthur, Amber Holcomb, Angie Miller, Kree Harrison, and Candice Miller not only proved that they could sing but they made history at the same time. Newly crowned winner Candice will release an album before the summer is over. Kree will visit the Grand Ole Opry in a couple of weeks and take the stage with Idol judge Keith Urban and good friend Kellie Pickler (who just won Dancing with the Stars and is also an Idol alum). Kree says she is hoping to put out an album that she writes and hopes to recruit friend and country newcomer Kacey Musgraves for that effort. Angie has a record deal in the works and says she'll fight to make the album her way. If her song "You Set Me Free" is any judgement of how her album will turn out, I will be waiting to buy it.
Outcome: A woman won! Candice Glover took the crown but one could argue that each woman in the top five was a winner.
On The Voice I was shocked when two more guys were sent home leaving the top eight with seven women and one male act, The Swon Brothers. I hate to say it, but the probability of The Swon Brothers winning and securing a victory for the guys is slim to none. Josiah Hawley of Team Usher and Kris Thomas of Team Shakira were sent home after rather weak performances. The top seven leaves Adam and Blake's Teams intact and Shakira and Usher with only one remaining artist each respectively.
Team Adam is Sara Simmons, Judith Hill, and Amber Carrington
Team Blake is Danielle Bradbery, Holly Tucker, and The Swon Brothers
Team Shakira is Sasha Allen
and Team Usher is Michelle Chamuel
I love the two left on Team Shakira and Team Usher. Sasha Allen is so emotional and she brings everything to every performance, especially that amazing vocal; she does no wrong for me. Michelle Chamuel digs deep on every performance, I have no idea how she does it, but she grows every week, and she's someone I am excited to see on the stage. I think The Swon Brothers are actually my favorite on Team Blake because their performances are so authentic and I feel like there's no one like them in country right now. They make me feel like I'm at a country hoedown. And I love Amber Carrington on Team Adam. she continues to surprise me with her gutsy and confident performances.
Dancing with the Stars had no surprising outcome to me; the first time I saw Kellie Pickler dance, I knew I was looking at the Champion. She took every criticism and she tapped into the emotional part of dancing which is what makes it so great. She wasn't just great at the start of the season, but she grew throughout. I couldn't be happier because she deserved it as did Derek. He did a great job partnering Kellie and being there for her.
16 year old Zendaya! What can I say? She shocked me; I did not expect someone her age to bring the poise and maturity that she brought to the ballroom. Val should be so proud of her because she executed his amazing choreography exactly how it needed to be executed. I loved what Val said on the finale about the fact that Zendaya inspired him and taught him to believe in himself and his dreams again. I think that's a tribute to Zendaya, and in my book, she too is a champion. I was a fan of Kellie before and I always have been every since American Idol, but I didn't know who Zendaya was. I can now say, I will forever be a Zendaya fan.
Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnof took third place and rightfully so. Jacoby's exciting and energetic dancing style became a favorite in the ballroom. How he could go down into a split and right back up again, I will never know. I think what helped Jacoby was Karina's personality, she's such an open and warm dancer. He's going to have a such an awesome touchdown dance this season. I cannot wait to see it.
It's happening by the way, I am going over all the dances this season and picking my favorite ones for the top three and maybe some other honorable mentions. This season was amazing and anyone in the top three could have been a champion.
And just because it has been proven to be the year of the Woman on reality TV--
I bring you two hot songs that shout Women Power!
Zendaya danced to this song for her hip hop number and was amazing.
Katy Perry, where are you? We need you back. I know you wanted a break, but we need more songs like this, and Amber Carrington, will you please sing this on The Voice?

Dancing with the Stars Season 16: The Semifinals-- Super Hot
Kellie and Derek danced Argentine Tango-- Len said there was pride in the technique and joy in the performance, it was fantastic. He said he loved it. Bruno called it pure perfection, superb my darling. Carrie Ann said it's absurd that you can attain that kind of perfection in that short amount of time. Kellie amazes me every time, she is tireless.
Scores: 10, 10, 10= 30 out of 30
and Flamenco-- For me, with that performance, she is almost unbeatable, I have never seen someone dance the Flamenco on this show and that was incredible. Len said she just booked her spot in the final. Bruno said there were a couple of moments where she tightened up. Carrie Ann said she did tighten up and asked her why. Kellie said she felt that maybe it's because her dress was really heavy.
Scores: 9, 10, 9= 28 out of 30
Ingo and Kym danced a Samba-- Bruno said he loves Ingo's determination and sees that he put the work in. Carrie Ann said that Ingo is into it but then he slips up, he has the biggest fight to get into a final. Len said he did a good job with a dance that is difficult. I also see how much Ingo tries, and I think people appreciate that when they vote for him.
Scores: 8, 8, 8= 24 out of 30
and Charleston-- I absolutely loved it, he brought such a positive upbeat energy to the dance. Carrie Ann said he captured the roaring 20's. Len said the semifinals are the best time to do your best dance. Bruno said it was fun.
Scores: 9, 9, 9= 27 out of 20
Aly and Mark danced a Rumba-- Carrie Ann felt that Aly drew them in with every moment. Len said it had romance, but it wasn't raunchy, and it was understated. Len said she has grown throughout the competition. Bruno said there was a great balance between romance and sensuality. I didn't love this as much as the judges did.
Scores: 10, 10, 10=30 out of 30

He said if she doesn't make it to the final, he is going to judge in speedos.
Scores: 10, 9, 10= 29 out of 30
Jacoby and Karina danced an Argentine Tango-- I loved their dance and I thought it had a great intensity and energy to it. Len said it had mood and intensity. Bruno felt that the sexual tension was unbearable, and it was Jacoby's best performance ever. Carrie Ann gets a kiss from Jacoby, twirls her hair around and that's it.
Scores: 10, 10, 10=30 out of 30
and Lindy Hop-- This dance was so fun and free, and Jacoby seemed to have the perfect personality for the lindy hop. Len said it was full on and fabulous. Carrie Ann called Jacoby the number one entertainer of Season 16. Bruno said he nailed it.
Scores: 10, 9, 10= 29 out of 30
Zendaya and Val danced a Quickstep-- I was not digging this performance, there was something about it that was off, and almost so fast that it was like they were running instead of doing steps. Bruno thought it was too quick and didn't get what they were trying to do. Carrie Ann felt like they were dragging each other through it at times.
Scores: 9, 8, 8= 25 out of 30
and Hip Hop-- Zendaya looks like she was born to dance hip hop, and Val kept up with her. Bruno said it was so hip it gave him chills, and called it Zendaya forever. Carrie Ann said she is Zendaya's biggest fan, and she said Val didn't do too bad either. Len loved their attitude, and like the playfulness of the dance.
Scores: 10, 10, 10= 30 out of 30

Dancing with the Stars Season 16: Week 8
This week the first dance is a new dance and the second is a trio dance.....
Scores: 9, 10, 9= 28 out of 30
Sean and Peta danced the Tango-- Sean was trying, but he definitely seemed to run out of gas by the end of the routine. Bruno said you started well and then lost your footwork. Carrie Ann said this dance wasn't sustained. Len said it had punch and attack, but you lost the fluidity and quality of movement.
Scores: 7, 7, 7= 21 out of 30
Jacoby and Karina danced the Viennese Waltz-- I thought that dance was so passionate and expressive. Jacoby's strength was so beautifully controlled. Carrie Ann found it stunning and smooth, his posture was great and he had elegance and grace. Len said he loved it, great footwork. Bruno said it's a tough dance and he made it look effortless.
Scores: 9, 9, 9=27 out of 30
Ingo and Kym danced the Foxtrot-- This wasn't the best, but it was a personal best for Ingo. It had a really nice flow to it. Len said it had a great ease of movement, a little softer in the arms, and a little sharper in the footwork. Bruno said it was a great job. Carrie Ann likes his casual quality when he dances.
Scores: 8, 8, 8= 24 out of 30
Kellie and Derek danced the Viennese Waltz-- Wow, she is floating and gliding across the dance floor, this is really beautiful. I definitely felt her heart in that dance. Bruno called her the queen of the Viennese Waltz and said it was a thing of beauty. Carrie Ann said Kellie has something incredible. Len said it had as ease of movement and it was sophisticated.
Scores: 9, 9, 10= 28 out of 30
Aly and Mark danced the Argentine Tango-- I loved this dance; I feel like she really stepped up and challenged every other competitor. Spicy and sharp. Carrie Ann said your transformation is amazing. Carrie Ann felt it was weird when she came out of some of the lifts, not sure what she was talking about. Len said smooth, seductive, terrific. Bruno said you have sultry temptress down to a t.

Dancing with the Stars Season 16: Latin Night
Jacoby and Karina danced a Salsa-- I saw a couple of mistakes in there, but in general it was naturally rhythmic, and I enjoyed watching it. Len thought it was a good effort, and he shook the place up. He felt there could have been less lifts. Bruno said the fiesta has begun, your hips were on fire. Bruno added that Karina spent more time flying around then Iron Man. Carrie Ann liked the flavor of the dance and made a gross comparison which I won't mention on here.
Scores: 9, 9, 9= 27
Ingo and Kym danced the Rumba-- My eyes were pretty glued to Kym; I could feel Ingo trying to break through, but the hips weren't there for him. His passion and eagerness were. Bruno felt the hip action was too staccato and not fluid enough. Carrie Ann liked the form and technique but he missed the fluidity. Len said you gave it the best shot but didn't quite deliver in the end, but he felt that there was a lot of content and his lines were good.
Scores: 7, 8, 7= 22
Kellie and Derek danced the Samba-- I couldn't take my eyes off either one of them. The dance was energetic, packed with steps and tricks, and flat out sexy. Carrie Ann said she sees perfection in everything she does, but she said she doesn't feel Kellie when she dances. Carrie Ann feels it lacks emotional content. Len said booty, bounce, and bongos; he felt she completely understood the how of the technique and the wow of the performance, he found it brilliant. Bruno said out of this world content and the perfect balance of technique and performance.
Scores: 9, 10, 10= 29
Andy and Sharna danced a Rumba-- I love the humor that Andy brings to every dance; I only wish that he could pick up on more technique and musicality. Len liked the fun and entertainment value as well as the enthusiasm. He felt there wasn't enough hip action or musicality, more movement through the body. Bruno made a harsh comment about wishing he could forget the dance. Carrie Ann said you touch us but sometimes you forget about your arms, and if you could keep those in check, it would help.
Scores: 5, 6, 6= 17
Aly and Mark danced a Salsa-- Mark was injured, but ended up being able to dance with Aly. I liked this dance a lot. I feel like Aly totally went for it, that being said, it wasn't sexy. I found it more dirty than sexy, and it needed more salsa passes in it. Bruno said it was the spice of his life, and tutti, frutti, delicious tropical flavors-- whatever all that means. Carrie Ann loved it, and said she nailed it. Len said it was like a tequila sunrise, but it needed a few more salsa passes, but she had the exuberance.
Scores: 10, 9, 10= 29
Sean and Peta danced a Rumba-- I do think Sean took notes and improved in certain areas, but I did not see the chemistry between him and Peta. Carrie Ann was impressed that Sean listened to the comments, and like the chemistry between him and Peta. Len thought Peta was hot and Sean was wooden, and his hands kept flapping away. Bruno thought his musicality and extensions were better.
Scores: 8, 8, 8= 24
Zendaya and Val danced the Paso Doble-- This dance was intense, lots of intricate footwork, and I loved the energy of the dance. Len thought it was powerful and had attack. He liked the aggression, but warned her to lift her chin. Bruno liked the flamenco beginning. Carrie Ann thought it needed depth and strength to back up the intense, but thought her lines were gorgeous.
Scores: 9, 9, 9= 27
Then there was a dance off where 3 additional points could be earned. Kellie and Derek earned immunity for having the highest cumulative score:
Aly & Mark — 29 + 3 = 32
Zendaya & Val — 27 + 3 = 30
Kellie & Derek — 29 — Immune from Dance Off
Jacoby & Karina — 27
Ingo & Kym — 22 + 3 = 25
Sean & Peta — 24
Andy & Sharna — 17
dance off was Andy and Sharna vs. Aly and Mark
Jacoby and Karina vs. Zendaya and Val
and Ingo and Kym vs. Sean and Peta
My predictions for the bottom 2: Andy and Sharna and Sean and Peta --- I think Sean is going home.
Dancing with the Stars Season 16: Week 6
Last week I didn't write about Dancing with the Stars because I didn't get to watch it live as a result of everything going on in Boston. I love D.L.'s spirit, but the right decision was made sending him home last week I feel.
Who impressed me? Zendaya shocks me every week. Kellie is beautiful. Jacoby was out of this world; I loved his tricks.
Zendaya and Val danced a Cha Cha Cha to Do I Do by Stevie Wonder-- Len loved the musicality and swivel in her hips and thought it was the perfect way to start the show. Bruno said she could cha cha him any time she wants. Carrie Ann said she blew her away and feels bad for those who must follow her because it was perfection in motion. I still fail to believe that Zendaya is 16; she was so much focus, precision, and she really emotes and feels the dance.
Scores: 10, 9, 10= 29 out of 30
Andy and Sharna danced a Samba to Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder-- To me, I totally get that Andy is taking it seriously. Bruno found it entertaining but couldn't work out the Samba steps. Carrie Ann said you're in my heart and it touches me. She urged him to get more horizontal. Len thought he was entertaining and gave him a big well done. I feel very much like Carrie Ann, there's something about Andy when he dances and your heart is totally with him.
Scores: 6, 6, 6= 18 out of 30 (his scores should have been higher than that, at least a 20)
Sean and Peta danced a Samba to I Wish by Stevie Wonder-- Carrie Ann liked Sean but didn't think he had musicality. Len thinks he should set his sights higher. He thought it was riddled with mistakes. Len said all you guys think that just because you're dancing the Samba that you have to take your shirt off. Bruno said he tried hard, he told him he could get a job as a stripper cause if you got it, flaunt it. He also said that Sean was like a lumberjack. I do think Sean is trying, but this looked awkward at best. He's got to do better quick because if not, he's going home.
Scores: 7, 7, 7= 21 out of 30
Aly and Mark danced the Foxtrot to Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder-- This was so beautiful, filled with tons of precision and joy. It was nice that she dedicated it to Boston. Len thought it was a foxy foxtrot and the performance level was high. Bruno likes her consistency, but her frame lets her down a little bit. Carrie Ann felt she connected and thinks she's an understated performer.
Scores: 9, 9, 9= 27 out of 30
Ingo and Kym danced the Tango to Uptight by Stevie Wonder-- Ingo's frame looked stronger than it has in past weeks. He is someone who hopefully took what the judges said, and applied it going forward. If he survives this week, we will see if he continues to improve. Bruno thinks he can turn it on when he wants to, and has animal intent. He thought his lines were beautiful. Carrie Ann said finally, welcome to the game. Len said, bingo, Ingo, this dance really suited you, well done.
Scores: 8, 8, 8= 24 out of 30
Kellie and Derek danced the Quickstep to Part Time Lover by Stevie Wonder-- Kellie and Derek were amazing; the whole performance was so perfectly in sync. Carrie Ann: perfect posture, nuance, and synchronicity. Len said he thought it was the best dance of Season 16. Len says it is impossible for a couple to dance at that speed and not occasionally lose contact. Bruno thought it was quality dancing.
Scores: 9, 10, 10= 29 out of 30
Victor and Lindsay danced the Rumba to I Just Called to Say I Love You by Stevie Wonder-- Len said you always come out with a fighting spirit, and he said well done. Bruno said he needed more hip action and lost his steps. Carrie Ann liked the chemistry between Lindsay and Victor even though there were a lot of technical part of the dance missing. I agree with Len, Victor is a total fighter; there's a huge part of me that continues to route for him.
Scores: 6, 6, 6= 18 out of 30
Jacoby and Karina danced the Quickstep to For Once in my Life by Stevie Wonder-- Bruno said your energy is amazing, and you put in a lot of work and it shows. Carrie Ann said you surprise me, you bring a new element which I love. Len said you need to work on some stuff, but he likes Jacoby and admires him. This dance didn't suit your style, it's not your best, but not your worst. Entertainment factor with Jacoby is right up there, he's really fun, but technically, he has some work to do.
Scores: 8, 7, 8= 23 out of 30
Group Dances:
Team Paso Doble – Zendaya & Val, Ingo & Kym, Jacoby & Karina, and Victor & Lindsay

Dancing with the Stars: Season 16 Week 4
This weeks dances are all about the best years of the contestants lives.
Sean and Peta danced the Viennese Waltz and his best year is 2012, the year he met his fiance. I think Sean is trying but I don't see tons of improvement. Len thought he made a good effort with a difficult dance, his footwork was haphazard at times, but good. Bruno said he needs to working on sustaining himself through the dance, and avoiding the stumbles. Carrie Ann said there were two lifts, I didn't see that, but whatever. He's going to need to work hard to make it to next week. Scores: 6, 7, 7= 20 out of 30
Victor and Lindsay danced the Paso Doble and his best year was 2011 when he won the WBC boxing championship. Victor had good determination, but his footwork was not good. It felt more like stomping to me. Bruno said you're supposed to dance, not destroy it. He said it's not always attack, attack, attack, but I hope you come back because you can dance. Carrie Ann said you need a lot of work, but I see it comes from your head and your heart. Len loves his spirit and determination, and thought the dance needed more refining but was proud of what he did. Scores: 6, 6, 6= 18 out of 30
Jacoby and Karina danced the Foxtrot and his best year is 2012 because of his son being born and winning the Super Bowl. I loved Jacoby's dance. It was absolutely so strong and so sweet. I liked how some of his moves really had his style and flash. Carrie Ann thought his dance was phenomenal and it had so much joy. She liked how he went outside the box, and she thinks he has a real shot at winning this. Len said he was a fan of this Foxtrot tonight, and he felt Jacoby danced and looked the part. Bruno said he had flash and flare like no one else. Ne urged him to extend his hands so that they don't resemble spatulas. Scores: 8, 8, 8= 24 out of 30
Aly and Mark danced Contemporary and her best year was 2012 because of the Olympics. This was the best I've seen Aly. She was in touch emotionally, and this style of dance really played to her strengths. It incorporated her gymnastics abilities. Len liked the balance of emotion and athleticism. Bruno said it was going for gold and found it emotionally intense. Carrie Ann thought that she had perfection of emotion and that she lived in the moment and therefore Carrie Ann found it profound. Scores: 9, 9, 9= 27 out of 30
Andy and Sharna danced the Viennese Waltz and his best year is 2013, the best year of his life so far. Andy really put a lot of effort into this; he has worked hard to be sober and have a good life with his kids. Andy is one of those contestants that improves every week, and although his movements are simple, they're effective. Andy goes over to hug his daughter at the end and she says "good job dad". Bruno says it's the best he's danced since show one. Carrie Ann was crying and gave him a hug and told him it was so beautiful. She said it was the simplest poem, what you said with those few movements was so much. Len said you came onto this show a man, you'll go out as a hero. Scores: 7, 7, 7= 21 out of 30
Zendaya and Val danced a Samba and her best year was 2009 because it is when she was discovered. I love all the choreography and how well it was executed. I also loved the sweet playfulness between Zendaya and Val. Carrie Ann called Zendaya baby Beyonce and said Val's choreography was great. She tells Zendaya that Beyonce better watch out. Len felt her legs were too flexed at times, but she is a fantastic dancer. Bruno started singing, "you're my Venus". Bruno said you're star power and fearless. Scores: 9, 8, 9= 26 out of 30
Ingo and Kym danced a Viennese Waltz and his best year is 2009 because it's when he got married. I actually saw quite a bit of improvement in Ingo this week. His core actually did get better. Len liked his footwork and solo, but thought there were some incidents with his arms. Bruno said you worked on your control and said the dance was elegant, dashing, and romantic. Carrie Ann said his posture was so much better because he worked on his core. Scores: 8, 7, 8= 23 out of 30
D.L. and Cheryl danced a Foxtrot and his best year was when he was in 8th or 9th grade because everything was sweeter and simpler. Wow, he really came up and improved. There was some actual footwork in this, and I do hope people will continue voting for him. Bruno said tough love worked because his performance went up a level. Carrie Ann is proud and called it a breakthrough for D.L. Len said this had more content and it was better, and continues to admire his spirit. D.L. felt it was his best dance. Scores: 7, 7, 7= 21 out of 30
Kellie and Derek danced a Samba and her best year was 2011 when she got married. Kellie's dance and the emotion behind it were so beautiful. Derek did a wonderful job with the choreography. Carrie Ann said some of her movements were clipped, but she made beautiful pictures with her body. Len thought the movement should have had a little but more fluidity but she was in the dance. Bruno said soundtrack of love, beautiful. Scores: 9, 8, 9= 26 out of 30
Lisa and Gleb danced the Cha Cha Cha and her best year was the year her daughter got married. Poor Lisa, she's trying her best, but the dance is under rehearsed. In her solo, she seems unsure of what her movements should be. I feel like Gleb took his shirt off as a distraction. Len said she gave it her best and it was under rehearsed. Bruno echoed what Len said and thought that what she did, she did well. Carrie Ann said you look good Lisa and then she cautioned Gleb about lifts and said she'd deduct a point.

Dancing with the Stars: Season 16 Week 3
Last week was a huge surprise; the show said goodbye to Dorothy Hamill as she bowed out following an injury that could have become permanent had she continued dancing. The bottom two stars last week, boxer Victor Ortiz and reality star Lisa Vanderpump got a last minute reprieve. They survived to dance another week.
This week was prom week on the show and overall, many of the celebs saw improvement, and really stepped up.
Up first was Aly and Mark dancing a Viennese Waltz-- Their dance was beautiful and so light. Bruno said he was swept away and loved Aly's expression. He wants her to work on her frame. Carrie Ann said she is fluid, but she needs to work on staying in character. Len faked them out saying he wasn't impressed at all, and then he said, April Fools! Scores: 7, 8, 8= 23
Andy and Sharna danced a Cha cha cha-- I love how Andy really wants this and is making an effort, but at the same time, he is not taking himself too seriously. I love that! He is so whimsical and fun. Bruno said his timing and placement is off, but he knows how to entertain. Carrie Ann said Andy, you try with your full heart and soul every week, you need to cha cha more, but you are totally entertaining. Len said you're not a great dancer, but you make me feel good. Scores: 6, 6, 6= 18
Ingo and Kym danced a Paso Doble-- Ingo has great spirit and determination, but his posture isn't great and he is a bit too aggressive. Paso requires aggression but it also requires passion. Carrie Ann thought he captured the power of Paso, but his core is weak and he needs to strengthen his core in order to dance better. Len said it had great attack, but he needed stronger posture, more cheers than jeers. Bruno told him it was too aggressive, but he can tell that he works hard. He told him to refine his shapes. Scores: 7, 7, 7= 21
Lisa and Gleb danced a Viennese Waltz-- This was a big improvement over last week, but weak in comparison to some of the other dancers. Len thought, bright and breezy, free and easy. He liked the feel of it, but didn't think the hold was good. Bruno thought it was regal. Carrie Ann thought she did well, but like Aly, warned her to stay in character throughout. Scores: 7, 7, 7= 21
Kellie and Derek danced a Jive-- I want to know what Kellie Pickler can't do! This woman is amazing; she brings it every week, and I am so impressed. Bruno thought it was crisp and precise. Carrie Ann called is ridiculously amazing, that's the fastest routine I have ever seen. Len declared Kellie queen of the prom! Scores: 8, 9, 8= 25
Victor and Lindsay danced Contemporary-- I think this was the biggest improvement this week. Victor and Lindsay had a great connection. Carrie Ann said wow, you're a dancer, that was breathtaking, and you two had great chemistry. Len said he was pleasantly surprised, the lifts were very good, work on dance a little more, but your best so far. Bruno said you were gentle, caring, and sentimental. Scores: 8, 7, 8= 23
D.L. and Cheryl danced Salsa-- I did see an effort from D.L; I agree with Carrie Ann and I feel like the guys are being a little too hard on him. Len said I admire your spirit but it wasn't a salsa, there wasn't enough hip action, rhythm, and passing. Bruno said you've got to get the hips going. Carrie Ann said I see improvement every week; I want you to work on your musicality. Scores: 6, 5, 5= 16
Jacoby and Karina danced a Rumba-- Oh wow! Their connection was off the charts, and Jacoby was intense, passionate, and amazing. I couldn't take my eyes off the screen as I watched them. Bruno said it was smoldering, he was really into it, and had great arm extensions. Carrie Ann said I'm impressed, you have incredible artistry and you were connected to the music. That was hot. Len was shocked; he said it was refined and he had quality of movement. Scores: 8, 8, 8= 24
Wynonna and Tony danced a Samba-- I think Wynonna is such a sweet person, but this was not good. It was far too slow and she was practically walking through the dance. Carrie Ann felt the dance wasn't coming out. Len said you look magnificent, but you don't move, and there is no rhythm. Bruno found it sedated for a performance and urged her to hit it hard. Scores: 5, 5, 5= 15
Sean and Peta danced a Cha cha cha-- This is another couple that has improved. I could see that Sean had a great attitude going into this dance. Len said great energy, full of attack, work on your feet, but best from you so far. Bruno said he will give Sean his number, and tells him to clean up his footwork and finish his moves. Carrie Ann compliments the way Sean hits each move with such precision. Bruno then gets up to try and dance with Sean. Scores: 7, 7, 7= 21
Zendaya and Val danced a Viennese Waltz-- This was so airy and free; I love the way both of them glided across the stage and their ease of movement was beautiful. Bruno said as enchanting and charming as Venice in the moonlight, overall beautiful. Carrie Ann you have great lyrical quality to your movement. Your emotional connection is beyond your years. Len said your dancing is so natural, but warns all the couples going forward to be in hold more in the Viennese Waltz. Scores: 8, 8, 8= 24

Dancing with the Stars: Season 16 Week 2
Week 2 was all about the Quickstep, Jazz, and the Jive and the results were pretty surprising.
Up first was Ingo and Kyn dancing the Quickstep-- I thought Ingo did an awesome job of keeping up with Kym cause there was lots of movement and steps in that dance. Len liked that he danced and said his frame was good, steps were hit and miss, but he improved overall. Bruno felt the choreography was challenging but that he has the spirit and attitude. Carrie Ann felt his frame was weak. Scores: 6, 7, 7= 20
Dorothy and Tristan danced the Jive-- Dorothy didn't have the speed she needed in this dance; there was too much hesitation. Bruno said it was brave, but the mistakes were obvious. He also urged her to relax. Carrie Ann sensed her fear. Len said it had promise but didn't quite deliver, and he pointed out the big mistake when she fell on the slide her Tristan's legs. Dorothy feels bad that she can't live up to Tristan's high standards. Scores: 5, 5, 5= 15
Jacoby and Karina danced Jazz-- The routine was extremely energetic and entertaining. Karina's choreography was wonderful and it looked pretty difficult; Jacoby did well for week two. Carrie Ann thought Jacoby was fantastic and liked his lines. Len said it was fun and enjoyed watching it; he said the dance complimented his strengths. He hopes that going forward it will be as good when he does classical dances. Bruno said Jacoby is a performer. Scores: 8, 7, 8= 23
Victor and Lindsay danced a Jive-- Wow, Victor had a lot of charm, but he could not keep up with Lindsay. Len said it had energy, but it didn't knock his socks off. He was looking for it to be sharper and cleaner. Bruno thought it looked like a Zumba dance at one point and he felt his legs were all wrong in the dance. Carrie Ann said he is on the right track but he needs to work on getting his feet right. Scores: 6, 6, 6=18
Wynonna and Tony danced a Quickstep-- The steps are good, but being that this is a supposed to be a Quickstep this is pretty slow. Bruno liked the idea but thought it became a casual stroll at the end. He felt she had to keep up the energy. Carrie Ann liked her frame and posture, but felt that she was playing it too safe. Len said she has to improve in several areas but he found it entertaining. Scores: 6, 6, 6= 18
Zendaya and Val danced a Jive-- They were both awesome; I loved the style of the choreography and thr steps, so cool. Carrie Ann said you are the whole she-bang, you killed that number. Len said you were fantastic, well done. Bruno said a star is born big time; you hit some breathtaking lines. Scores: 9, 8, 9= 30
Andy and Sharna danced Jazz-- I thought Andy did a great job of entertaining and his dancing was good too, better than I expected. Len said Andy isn't the best dancer but it was fun. Bruno loved it. Carrie Ann said that Andy dancing Jazz allowed him to be wacky. Scores: 7, 6, 7= 20
Sean and Peta danced a Jive-- I thought Sean did improve and he did a pretty good job of keeping up with Peta. Bruno asked Sean to save him. He found it more Lindey-hop and Jitterbug. Carrie Ann told him to feel the music because once he gets it, then watch out. Len thought that it was too much spectacle and not enough Jive dancing. Scores: 7, 6, 7= 20
Aly and Mark danced a Quickstep-- Loved this, it was so fast, intricate, and fun. Carrie Ann thought it was the best Quickstep of the night; she loved the finesse and attention to detail. Len liked the precision, body contact, and speed. Bruno loved her personality, but urged her to watch her top line. Scores: 8, 8, 8= 24
Lisa and Gleb danced a Jive-- It appears as though this wasn't rehearsed enough. Lisa's kicks are not good, it's neat, but not free enough. Len felt the dance never took off, it was too wooden, but neat and precise. He also thought it wasn't pretty. Carrie Ann gets mad the Gleb for the lift and tells Lisa to let go or she isn't going to go far in the competition. Scores: 6, 6, 6= 18
D.L. and Cheryl danced a Quickstep-- This was the biggest improvement from week one to week two. I think his scores should have reflected that. Bruno saw his effort, and said he did a good job. Carrie Ann said people don't realize watching the show how hard it is, and that he is on the right track. Len said the idea of the show is to get better week by week. Scores: 5, 5, 6= 16
Kellie and Derek danced Jazz-- This was the best performance of the night. I loved Zendaya and Aly but I feel like this should have been scored higher. Carrie Ann loved it and called Kellie a dancer. She thought it was amazing and loved her artistry. Len said last week was a spark, this week was a fire. Bruno called it modern Jazz at it's most effective. Scores: 9, 8, 9= 26
Week one and two scores combined:
Zendaya And Val – 50 out of 60
Kellie And Derek- 47 out of 60
Aly And Mark- 45 out of 60
Jacoby And Karina- 43 out of 60
Ingo And Kym- 40 out of 60
Sean And Peta- 39 out of 60
Andy And Sharna- 37 out of 60
Lisa And Gleb- 36 out of 60
Victor And Lindsay- 36 out of 60
Dorothy And Tristan- 36 out of 60
Wynonna And Tony- 36 out of 60D.L. And Cheryl- 28 out of 60
My bottom three prediction: D.L., Dorothy, and Lisa

Victor And Lindsay- 36 out of 60
Dorothy And Tristan- 36 out of 60
Wynonna And Tony- 36 out of 60D.L. And Cheryl- 28 out of 60
My bottom three prediction: D.L., Dorothy, and Lisa

Dancing with the Stars: Season 16 Week 1
There is no elimination this week, the first elimination will be on March 26th (Tuesday). There are several new dancers: Lindsay Arnold (from So You Think You Can Dance), Sharna Burgess, and Gleb Savchenko . Not on the show this season-- Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Chelsie Hightower, Louis van Amstel, and Anna Trebunskaya.
Tonight's couples must perform either a Cha-cha-cha, Foxtrot, or Contemporary routine.
Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough danced a Cha cha cha to Domino by Jessie J.-- I thought Kellie just had an awesome energy. I hope that people will vote for her even though she isn't that well known. Len thought it was fun. Bruno liked the shapes she made and can't wait to see her again. Carrie Ann told her that she has great torso movement but she needs to remember to keep up a little bit better. Scores: 7, 7, 7= 21
Victor Ortiz and Lindsay Arnold danced a Foxtrot to Daylight by Maroon 5-- Victor seems very competitive and determined. I think his back story proves that he has been through so many things in his life that there is little that he can't do. Carrie Ann says he has a caring, tender, debonair side to him. Len felt that he liked the dance but there could have been a few more "wows".
Scores: 6, 6, 6= 18
Ingo Rademacher and Kym Johnson danced a Contemporary to Yellow by Coldplay-- I thought the routine was good, not great, but it had a lot of solid well done lifts and the emotion was there. Carrie Ann said she saw lifts and raw passion and athleticism, so he did a great job. Len said he wasn't convinced and thought there were too many lifts. Bruno felt it was good and likened Ingo to Bradley Cooper. Scores: 7, 6, 7= 20
Lisa Vanderpump and Gleb Savchenko danced a Foxtrot-- I like Lisa, but I have to say that I was quite disinterested as I watched this dance. Len thought it was acceptable but not exceptional. Carrie Ann felt that the dance suited Lisa but she wasn't always in sync. Scores: 6, 6, 6= 18
D.L. Hughley and Cheryl Burke danced a Cha cha cha to Low by Flo Rida-- I think D.L. is a competitive person, but you could tell that it wasn't rehearsed well enough or long enough, something isn't working for him. By comparison, the chacha is supposed to be an easier dance than some of the others. Bruno felt he was off timing and under rehearsed. Carrie Ann thought it was Yikes and felt that he needs to practice harder cause it was disjointed. Len said this was rough. Scores: 4, 4, 4= 12
Zendaya Coleman and Valentin Chmerkoskiy danced a Contemporary to I Feel Again by OneRepubic-- This girl was impressive, she had grace, fluidity, and she nailed every single move. Carrie Ann felt that she had maturity beyond her years and praised the choreography. Len thought it was great and believed he'd never say that week one. Bruno said it was superb. Scores: 8, 8, 8= 24
Sean Lowe and Peta Murgatroyd danced a Foxtrot to Power of Love by Huey Lewis and the News-- I didn't think this was polished at all; however, I can definitely see that Sean is giving this his all. Len liked it but not a lot, he thought it lacked finesse and refinement, but liked his footwork and posture. Bruno liked his pelvic thrusts but echoed Len's comments on refinement. Carrie Ann flirted with Sean and felt his attack was there so he has the potential to go far. Scores: 7, 6, 6= 19
Aly Raisman and Mark Ballas danced a Cha cha cha to Live While We're Young by One Direction-- I was okay with this performance, but for some reason I was expecting more. I do think that Aly has potential for sure. Bruno and Carrie Ann both thought she had sass and attitude. Bruno told her to stretch the back of her legs more. Carrie Ann felt she could push a little bit more. Len thought there was vitality and rhythm but told her that her legs needed to be crisper. Scores: 7, 7, 7= 21
Dorothy Hamill and Tristan McManus danced a Contemporary to Tiny Dancer by Elton John-- If Dorothy can legitimately improve every week, she could be around for weeks to come. Carrie Ann called her performance golden, beautiful, and heartfelt. Len thought it was a gentle performance. Bruno felt his heart melt and a deep connection between her and Tristan. Scores: 7, 7, 7= 21
Wynonna Judd and Tony Dovolani danced a Cha cha cha to I've Got the Music in Me-- Wynonna looks really happy to have Tony as a partner and to be on the show. She showed personality, but it was really slow and really stiff. Len felt she gave a good performance. Bruno thought it was a bit too casual. Carrie Ann liked her style, but told her to give it more agreeing with her fellow judges. Scores: 6, 6, 6= 18
Andy Dick and Sharna Burgess danced a Foxtrot to Witchcraft-- I actually really loved the choreography and I was pleasantly surprised with Andy Dick. Bruno thought it was like Woody Allen doing the Foxtrot. He liked the interpretation. Carrie Ann felt touched by the dance and told him to work on his hands and feet. Len liked the choreography, but didn't think the dance had enough fluidity. Scores: 6, 5, 6= 17
Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff danced a Cha cha cha to I Get a Feeling by Flo Rida-- Wow, well, clearly the performance value was way up in this performance. It was extremely entertaining. Carrie Ann said he has the moves. She told him he needs to work on his posture and technique as the dancing started to resemble touch down dances. Len said it was all icing and no cake, performance was high, but he has a lot of things to work on. Bruno said you've got the goods but you need to control your posture. Scores: 7, 6, 7= 20
Who do you think will be the first celebrity headed home? I'm just not sure yet myself. I should also mention that no one will be kicked off this week. The stars will perform one more time before someone is voted off on Tuesday the 26th.
