As far as tomorrow, I am hearing there will be a bottom three and the save will still happen. So two contestants will immediately advance and one will be saved.
First up was Kristen Merlin singing Gunpowder and Lead by Miranda Lambert-- I think Kristen has a great voice but this was not the right song for her. It wasn't believable because as Blake mentioned she was smiling throughout the song and that's not the idea. She needed to be angry and have some attitude and this just lacked that.
Josh Kaufman sang All of Me by John Legend-- This was a perfect choice because it fit Josh's style so well. The really low notes were right on and the falsetto was beautiful. He must be in the top three. Adam says he is getting his weekly serving of humble pie yet again.
Kat Perkins sang Chandelier by Sia-- I love Sia as an artist but I found this performance was all over the place in terms of pitch. It sounded like she was trying to hit the right notes but didn't. Notice that none of the coaches came out and said that they liked it.
Jake Worthington sang Good Ole Boys by Waylon Jennings-- I loved this performance, I think it was actually Jake's best yet. It was fun and Blake is on his feet; this is a proud moment.
Christina Grimmie sang Hide and Seek by Imogen Heap-- Not my fave Christina Grimmie performance. I felt the same way Usher did, disconnected. I hope this performance isn't her downfall.
After round 1, I think Josh, Jake, and Christina should advance.
Now for round 2--
Josh Kaufman sang Love Runs Out by OneRepublic-- Was it the perfect song for him to sing? Probably not. Can he sell just about anything with a voice like that? Absolutely.
Kat Perkins sang Let it Go from the movie Frozen-- I thought this was preposterous when I heard she was singing Let it Go but it was a pretty solid performance. I'm not the biggest Kat fan but she was on point throughout this performance.
Kristen Merlin sang Foolish Games by Jewel-- I wish Kristen had done two songs like this because the first did not fit her well enough. This performance was a revelation to me because for the first time I saw Kristen the storyteller. It's that same person that Shakira has been talking about.
Christina Grimmie sang Some Night by f.u.n.-- Huge Christina Grimmie fan but this was a bit of a mess. The song wasn't to her style, and she struggled to connect with the song. You could tell that she was really making an effort but it was a bit too labored.
Jake Worthington sang Heaven by Byran Adams-- Quite honestly, the best performance of the night and a personal best for Jake. I loved this and I could tell he was connected to the song. Blake says he is so proud of Jake and would share the stage with him for the rest of his life. He also brings up the fact that Jake was having some throat problems and pushed through it and didn't mention it or use it as an excuse.
I was right about the top three. Tune in to the finale when Jake, Josh, and Christina square off!

The Voice Season Six: The Top 8 Give Amazing Performances
Sisaundra Lewis sang River Deep Mountain High by Tina Turner-- Adam called her a potent performer and amazing. The performance was strong but after the first couple of choruses, it became repetitive. It should hold up though.
Josh Kaufman sang I Can't Make You Love Me by Bonnie Raitt-- Coaches, get up on your feet cause that deserved more than just a standing ovation from Usher. Shakira said you have good taste, your tone, your vocal arrangement was so intuitive. Adam said I am purely happy to see how far you have come. Blake said it was as perfect a performance I've seen in these seven seasons; it was really good. Usher felt like it was amazing, and he had the confidence of a real artist. Usher said he is happy and proud to be his coach and felt like it was one of his best performances. I agree. Josh blows me away every time with that falsetto.
Kat Perkins sang Get Lucky by Daft Punk feat. Pharrell-- I believe Kat has a great rock voice but I did not like the arrangement of the this song. Wow, well Adam seemed pretty pumped about it, despite the fact that I wasn't. Shakira said you're true to yourself and it was great. Adam said bottom three my ass, you did a heavy metal version of a funk song.
Kristen Merlin sang I Drive Your Truck by Lee Brice-- Blake said you've made a believer out of me, you've improved every week, and Adam loves you so much he copied your hairstyle. Shakira thought the performance was beautiful and transcendent and was aware how much the song meant to her. I enjoyed this performance, and I agree that I continue to believe Kristen improves each week.
Delvin Choice sang I Believe I Can Fly by R. Kelly-- This performance was breathtakingly beautiful. Delvin's vocals transcended what I felt the song was and took it to a whole other level. It literally brought tears to my eyes. Blake thought it was powerful and a perfect song choice for him and wondered what Adam is doing. Usher said every week you show up and give a powerful performance. Adam said there was no other song you could have done tonight.
Audra McLaughlin sang Forgive by Rebecca Lynn Howard-- Woah! She upped the ante big time this week. She might hang around for another week. Her upper register was so powerful. Blake gave her a standing ovation and said that the way she approached the song made people really believe what she was singing about. Blake said that he got caught up in the song as well.

Adam said you're so cool and casual, you're so much cooler than Blake. You are so authentic, you exude country music. Blake said I think tonight you introduced America to Jake the artist.

Reality Recap-- The Voice loses the wrong person yet again, and American Idol's new twist
Kat Perkins sang Landslide by Fleetwood Mac-- I completely admit, this song has been a little bit overdone on reality shows, but the style and tempo change was exactly what Kat needed. She was starting to sound similar in all her performances, and this was actually different. Kat started to cry at the end of the song, and Blake said it was making him cry.
Tess Boyer sang Ain't It Fun by Paramore-- Tess is my favorite female voice on the show this season. I love her so it hurts me when so many people are critical of her. I cannot understand why she went home at this point. She did not have the worst performance. I think I would have sent Kat or Audra home this week. Tess should have been there through the end. Another fact is that Tess never received anything but compliments from the coaches, and her last night performing was no exception. Blake commented on her perfect pitch, and Shakira felt like she nailed the performance.
Audra McLaughlin sang You Lie by Reba-- Unlike the coaches, I actually felt like this was one of her weaker performances. I didn't really like the choice of song, it made her seem dated. It would be nice to see her do some Carrie Underwood or Band Perry or Thompson Square. She should have been in the bottom three rather than Tess.
Josh Kaufman sang This Is It by Kenny Loggins-- OMG! Horrible song choice! Usher, what on Earth were you thinking? You could have got Josh sent home with a song choice like that. Luckily, America saw how talented he is. This was dragging at points. I think I disliked the song so much that it bored me a little bit. Adam once again regrets losing Josh and Blake thinks he is dumb for losing Josh.
Christina Grimmie sang Hold On We're Going Home by Drake-- This was the performance of the night. What a daring, yet smart song choice. This was such a risk but it showed so much creativity and it worked. She handled the song and the stage so well, the high note was amazing. I honestly think Christina deserves to win the whole thing this year. Shakira said it was her best performance thus far. Adam approved of her artistic decisions.
Jake Worthington sang Run by George Strait-- I enjoyed this performance. Jake remains one of the most likable contestants this season. It was nice to see him change things up a little and see him without a guitar and singing a song somewhat outside of his comfort zone. Usher loved his spirit and Blake thought he gave a solid performance.
Bria Kelly sang I'm With You by Avril Levine-- Overall, she was my pick to go home for the week, that didn't happen. I just don't see Bria's desire and hunger to be here. Vocally, she isn't where the other contestants are. There were lots of pitch issues in this performance and Adam was the only coach who had the courage to bring them up.
Delvin Choice sang Bright Lights from Gary Clark Jr.-- This wasn't my favorite Delvin performance, and maybe it's because I wasn't familiar with the song. However, I do need to mention how much I love Delvin's voice, and the fact that I feel like he puts 100% of himself into every single performance.
Kristen Merlin sang Let Her Go by Passenger-- I wasn't sure at first if I liked Kristen, but I grow to like her more every single week. She is quite the talent. Actually, she reminds me a lot of Melissa Etheridge. She has a strong, genuine texture to her voice.
Sisaundra Lewis sang Oh Sherrie by Journey-- Sisaundra took a huge risk by opening the song acapella, and man oh man, not only did she sound amazing, but it paid off big time! She worked the stage, and her vocals were dreamy. I loved this, and I cannot wait to see her rock out again. Adam commented that she blew the roof off the place, and Blake said she made him look smart.
The following night, it was revealed that Bria, Tess, and Kat were the bottom three, and at the end of the night, although Tess had the better voice, it was Kat's confidence that won out in the end. Even I must admit that her performance of Paris was convincing.

American Idol brought with it a surprising twist this week. The day after the final five sang songs chosen by the public, they were asked if they all wanted another week together as the final five and two people would be sent home the following week, or they could vote to send someone home like they always do. The decision had to be unanimous, and it wasn't and 18 year old cutie Sam Woolf was sent home. The big story following results night was which two contestants voted to break the final five apart rather than keeping them together another week. It was later revealed to be Jena and Alex. I personally would have liked to see everyone stay together another week. What's the harm? I think it would have brought stronger performances in the upcoming week for the contestants.

Round 1:
Alex Preston sang Sweater Weather by The Neighbourhoods-- Enjoyed this song choice for Alex. Very much in line with this style, and Jason Mraz's comments appeared to help Alex as he is definitely more engaged.
Caleb Johnson sang I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing by Aerosmith-- Not loving it, and I can tell Caleb didn't love it either. Perhaps a little bit of a lackluster choice for him from America. It seemed like the right idea in theory but I think all that was on Caleb's mind is that the song has been overdone.
Jessica Meuse sang Human by Christina Perri-- I am on the same page as Harry. It wasn't my favorite performance but the song choice was right on. Her vocals were good, the dynamics were nice. Definitely, a better than usual performance for Jessica.
Sam Woolf sang Sing by Ed Sheeran-- This is the song of the minute right now, so Sam would have really had to knock it out of the park for it to be a hit for him. He did better than usual, but what it was missing is the falsetto that Ed laces throughout the song. This is a song that is really based on those high notes, and Sam lacked that. Performance wise though, Jenn was right, it was the most comfortable he's been on a stage.
Jena Irene sang My Body by Young the Giant-- Jena takes Jason's advice to heart and her stage presence improves. I am not too familiar with the song, but she does a great job with it nonetheless.
Round 2:
Alex Preston sang Say Something by A Great Big World-- Harry called this the performance of the night, and it actually was. I think Alex won the night. I believed every word, and I agree when Keith called it the perfect marriage of song and artist. I was overwhelmed by emotions as Alex sang this but he managed to hold it together.
Jena Irene sang Valerie by Amy Winehouse-- I didn't initially get this choice for Jena, but the moment she opened her mouth and started singing, I understood. This was everything it needed to be, a jazzy vocal, it was a different choice for Jena but still in her wheelhouse. Oddly enough, although I thought she pulled this off, the judges didn't.
Sam Woolf sang How to Save a Life by The Fray-- I liked this song for Sam better than the first. It had some bumps along the way, but it finished up strong. I think in general, the reason Sam got sent home before his time is because she song choices were not the best for him. Too bad, he is a really talented kid.
Jessica Meuse sang Summertime Sadness by Lana Del Rey-- I love this song and loved it on Jessica. Consequently, I think the great song choices she got are the reason that she is still in the competition instead of at home.
Caleb Johnson sang Still of the Night by Whitesnake-- No idea how this was chosen for Caleb but it was a great choice. Clearly there are some fans of Idol who are really into 80's rock. This was a great performance. Caleb holds strong as a contestant, but this might be an Alex verse Jena final.

The Voice Season Six: The Live Shows, 12 Work Towards the Finale
Team Usher: Bria Kelly kicked things off singing Rolling in the Deep by Adele-- Not her best. I did not like the arrangement. She struggled tonight, her pitch was off quite a bit. Despite all that, the coaches did not really have any critical feedback for her. Shakira said if anyone can take on Adele, she can, but she didn't, Shakira. Usher thought she killed it; really?
Score: I just give it a 2 out of 5
Team Adam: Delvin Choice sang Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers-- I do not care for the arrangement here either, particularly how the song started out. As the song went along, Delvin did hit his stride when he made it to the chorus and hit that beautiful note. However, I do want to say this was not a home run performance. I think it's a performance that puts him at the middle of the pack rather than at the front where I am used ot him being. Blake says he sang the crap out of it. Usher said he is an amazing talent. Shakira said she was not disappointed, and coach Adam felt he delivered a moment.
Score: 3 out of 5 for me
Team Shakira: Dani Moz sang Just Give Me a Reason by Pink-- Wobbly in a few areas but overall, a great effort. She also hit the money note in the song. Dani is someone to me who is an underdog in this competition. She has potential to make it to the final four. Adam says he wanted more dynamics, Shakira said there were dynamics (oh boy!). For the record, Shakira is right, there were dynamics. Blake said she picked her moment.

Team Blake: Audra McLaughlin sang Angel of the Morning by Merrilee Rush/ Juice Newton-- Not digging the song choice at all. I actually find it boring and a total waste of Audra's voice. Hope she sticks around to move past this train wreck of a song and arrangement. Usher thought it was incredible and loved the character of her voice. Adam loves her and wants Audra on his team. Blake is happy to be working with her.

Team Usher: TJ Wilkins sang Waiting on the World to Change by John Mayer-- This was a smoother and clearer performance than Delvin's. I really need to hand it to TJ because he has been flying under the radar and people are going to start to notice him now. I like how he made a pop/ rock song a soul song. TJ is like a modern day Marvin Gaye. Usher says he is proud that he trusted his instincts. So am I. Shakira said TJ was pure, sincere, and extraordinary. Blake said TJ was infectious in a good way. This was the best of the night so far.

Team Adam: Christina Grimmie sang Dark Horse by Katy Perry-- Wow, she sounds better than Katy Perry singing this song. She's emerging as the strongest person on Team Adam. This is someone who is clearly a contender. I liked how she rocked this song up a little bit, it was less pop, more rock. She kind of took this song to Hayley Williams territory when she hit that big note. Blake says she is like dynamite and the person to beat on Adam's team. Shakira is impressed with her range. Usher agrees with Blake.

Sisaundra is proving to be one of those people who can sing anything well. The challenge for her is sounding different every week, working outside her comfort zone, and thinking outside the box. Usher said she always blows everyone's socks off which is true. Adam loved her restraint and control, also true, she has great control. Blake admires her ability to reel in a song.

Team Shakira: Kristen Merlin sang Stay by Sugarland-- This started off strong, and then her mic went dead, which was weird and totally not her fault. Mid way through the song, it started to get a little bit questionable because she didn't seem totally confident in her ability to perform the song. Adam praised the way she handled the situation with the mic. Blake thinks she improves every week. Shakira called it heartfelt and moving.

Team Adam: Kat Perkins sang Magic Man by Heart-- I wasn't familiar with this song so it was tough for me to relate. I liked Kat's ability to work the crowd and play off the band. I have decided I don't care for the song. She has a good voice, but this was a completely wasted performance. Blake enjoys her aggressiveness and Usher called her voice dope and amazing.

Team Shakira: Tess Boyer sang I'll Be There For You by Bon Jovi-- I thought this song was magic for Tess. I loved the way the song fit her vocal range and really showcased the strengths in her voice. She has so many strong points. She is the the woman to beat on Team Shakira. I don't think the song sounded dated, to me it just sounded like a big power ballad. Blake thinks she is the one to beat on Team Shakira. Usher said the coaches celebrate her since she has been on almost every coach's team.

Team Usher: Josh Kaufman sang Stay with Me by Sam Smith-- Perfect song, perfect voice, perfect performance. If we thought it wasn't possible for Josh to outdo himself, we were wrong. Josh was pretty awesome tonight. I loved the dynamics and how the song built to that special place about two thirds of the way through. There's a lot of emotion in this song and that's so perfect for Josh. Shakira declares that she is a fan. Adam thought it was perfect and remains upset that Josh isn't on his team. Blake says Josh is the one to beat on Team Usher.

Team Adam: Delvin Choice sang Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers-- I do not care for the arrangement here either, particularly how the song started out. As the song went along, Delvin did hit his stride when he made it to the chorus and hit that beautiful note. However, I do want to say this was not a home run performance. I think it's a performance that puts him at the middle of the pack rather than at the front where I am used ot him being. Blake says he sang the crap out of it. Usher said he is an amazing talent. Shakira said she was not disappointed, and coach Adam felt he delivered a moment.

Team Shakira: Dani Moz sang Just Give Me a Reason by Pink-- Wobbly in a few areas but overall, a great effort. She also hit the money note in the song. Dani is someone to me who is an underdog in this competition. She has potential to make it to the final four. Adam says he wanted more dynamics, Shakira said there were dynamics (oh boy!). For the record, Shakira is right, there were dynamics. Blake said she picked her moment.

Team Blake: Audra McLaughlin sang Angel of the Morning by Merrilee Rush/ Juice Newton-- Not digging the song choice at all. I actually find it boring and a total waste of Audra's voice. Hope she sticks around to move past this train wreck of a song and arrangement. Usher thought it was incredible and loved the character of her voice. Adam loves her and wants Audra on his team. Blake is happy to be working with her.

Team Usher: TJ Wilkins sang Waiting on the World to Change by John Mayer-- This was a smoother and clearer performance than Delvin's. I really need to hand it to TJ because he has been flying under the radar and people are going to start to notice him now. I like how he made a pop/ rock song a soul song. TJ is like a modern day Marvin Gaye. Usher says he is proud that he trusted his instincts. So am I. Shakira said TJ was pure, sincere, and extraordinary. Blake said TJ was infectious in a good way. This was the best of the night so far.

Team Adam: Christina Grimmie sang Dark Horse by Katy Perry-- Wow, she sounds better than Katy Perry singing this song. She's emerging as the strongest person on Team Adam. This is someone who is clearly a contender. I liked how she rocked this song up a little bit, it was less pop, more rock. She kind of took this song to Hayley Williams territory when she hit that big note. Blake says she is like dynamite and the person to beat on Adam's team. Shakira is impressed with her range. Usher agrees with Blake.

Team Blake: Sisaundra Lewis sang Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me by George Michael and Elton John-- This was a big song and she did it up big as well. Sisaundra is proving to be one of those people who can sing anything well. The challenge for her is sounding different every week, working outside her comfort zone, and thinking outside the box. Usher said she always blows everyone's socks off which is true. Adam loved her restraint and control, also true, she has great control. Blake admires her ability to reel in a song.

Mid way through the song, it started to get a little bit questionable because she didn't seem totally confident in her ability to perform the song. Adam praised the way she handled the situation with the mic. Blake thinks she improves every week. Shakira called it heartfelt and moving.

The Voice Season Six: Shakira and Adam pick their teams
Team Shakira:
Kristen Merlin sang Two Black Cadillacs by Carrie Underwood-- Unreal vocal, and a standing ovation from Adam and Shakira. Adam felt like she broke through and became a serious contender, you're at the top of your game, your best, and one of the best of the season. Blake said it was as flawless as a live performance can be. Usher said she is consistent and one of the best voices in the competition. I loved this, it was as good as Miss Carrie herself singing it. Adam and Usher told Shakira she has to keep Kristen.
Deja Hall sang Battlefield by Jordin Sparks-- I wanted the vocal to be a little more aggressive. She needed to dirty it up a little bit, she was trying to make it sound perfect and it lost some of its grit. Blake said she came out of her shell a bit. Usher said she has grown so much. Shakira felt like she was finally believing in herself.
Tess Boyer sang Human by Christina Perri-- Tess is nothing short of amazing; I hope she keeps going in this competition. She kind of reminds of someone like Will Champlin, just the way she keeps battling back, it's just so cool, and she has that type of work ethic where she refuses to give up, she keeps raising the bar. Adam said if you win this, I will look like a ding dong for being the only person on the coaching panel to not coach you. Adam called Blake and Usher total morons for letting her go. Usher called her superhuman for the way she holds notes, and talked about the realness to her voice. Blake said she took something hard and made it seem easy. Shakira called her a little miracle and even in her low voice, her voice filled the room completely.
Patrick Thomson sang Trouble by Ray LaMontagne-- This was my favorite performance by Patrick, and I do think he connected with the song. Usher said he didn't understand who Patrick was until now. Blake said Adam looks dumb now for letting him go. Shakira said you just had that moment where everyone sees what you're capable of; your voice was right on the money.
Dani Moz sang Edge of Glory by Lady Gaga-- Awesome stripped down performance. I really had the opportunity to hear Dani's vocals and her artistry. She was clearly connected to the song. Adam said emotions are good, it was really great, and Shakira is a loony if she doesn't keep you moving forward. Blake said you were completely connected to the song and you're a game changer. Usher said you're extremely passionate, and it wasn't flawless but your emotion brought me closer to you. Shakira said Dani made her listen to that Gaga song and she thinks if Gaga is watching, she'd be proud.

Blake said you have grown leaps and bounds. Usher said there is nothing you can't do. Shakira said it was delicious. Adam said you have solidified that we're the team to beat this year.
Jake Barker sang She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5-- I enjoyed Jake's performance, his falsetto is pretty awesome, and while Usher thinks he sounds a little like Justin Timberlake, I also think he sounds a little like Adam Levine. It's hard to believe he doesn't have a lot of singing experience. Blake said you have such a strong falsetto; I feel for Adam, he has some tough decisions coming up. Usher said your growth is impressive and I hope you make it through. Shakira said you have a vulnerable, sweet voice, and it worked. Adam said Jake is a natural.
Kat Perkins sang Open Arms by Journey-- I loved Kat's performance, I didn't love the song for her. It seemed a little bit 80's for me, It was like she didn't make the song modern. The coaches seemed to really love this performance though. Shakira said she made it seem effortless. Blake said open arms my ass, open lungs. He said it sounded like Kat's song, I have no criticism. Adam said those are really challenging songs, and there is nothing to criticize.
Morgan Wallen sang Stay by Florida Georgia Line-- Honest performance from Morgan! I liked the song choice. I wonder if he will make it through though only because there are so many strong singers on Adam's team. Unfortunately, I think he is going to be left behind. He does have a good country voice though, there is no doubt. Usher said he should be singing country music, and he is happy he is still in this. Blake said I hear a lot of Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilots in his voice.
Christina Grimmie sang I Won't Give Up by Jason Mraz-- I think Christina Grimmie was the best performance of the night. I think she is the shoe in for Team Adam. What an amazing vocal full of emotion and strength. Blake said Adam that is the best singer on your team. How does such a big voice come out of such a little person? Usher said you're like baby Celine Dion. Adam said Blake said I am little too, and Usher said, no, he said parts of you are little. Adam said I haven't had any complaints. Shakira said it was perfect, I loved that you sang a song that was sung by a male, and made it your own.

The Voice Season Six: The Last of the First Round of Battles (Make Sense?)
Team Adam: Cary Laine vs. Sam Behymer sang Give Me Love by Ed Sheeran-- I wasn't crazy about this battle. I didn't care much for the song and both ladies were having some major pitch issues. I preferred Cary, the tone of her voice is smoother to me. Although, I preferred Sam in the blind auditions this performance had some issues.
Who should win? I'd go with Cary

Team Blake: Kaleigh Glanton vs. Noah Lis sang Everything by Michael Buble-- Usher said he liked Noah's upper range, and Kaleigh's unique tone. Adam said although the chips were stacked against Kaleigh, he chooses her. Blake likes how Kaleigh thinks of the right places to go with her vocals and the night notes to sing. I actually liked both of the, loved the chemistry that they displayed throughout the performance. It didn't seem fake

The Voice Blind Auditions Season Six: Night One
**4 Chair Turn** Christina Grimmie sang Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus-- I absolutely loved Christina's take on this song, it was different than the original. What was great about it was how powerful her vocals were as the song built and how she went from loud to soft with such control. This is someone I would watch throughout. Adam praised her comfort level on the stage. Shakira said Adam is tired. Usher said he would understand who she is as an artist and how to unlock her full potential. Blake said he just wants to see her win this show. Christina says she loves all of them but ...

TJ Wilkins sang Bennie and the Jets by Elton John-- The three guys turned around, and Shakira should have joined in because TJ has an awesome voice and I loved the way that he sang this. He took Bennie and the Jets and turned it into an even more soulful version of the song. His range was pretty impressive too; he should go far! Adam said he has a unique flair because it was an Elton John song but an R&B performance. Usher thought his creativity is what helps to define him as an artist. Blake joked with him and said his full voice when he goes for high notes in unbelievable. Shakira said mix it up, be adventurous, go with Blake.

Kristen Merlin sang Something More by Sugarland -- An excited Adam and fist pumping Shakira turned around for Kristen. There is something about her voice that's quite different, I just don't know that her voice impressed me in the way that other contestants have. Adam liked the way that she dipped in and out of notes. Blake said he didn't hit his button because she has a fast vibratto and Blake feels Shakira could help her control that. Shakira said if Kristen picks her she would call Miranda to have Miranda coach her to be Kristen's coach.

Tanner Linford sang Stay by Rihanna-- No one turned. I actually really liked this kid, at 16, for him to be able to go on stage and sing like that with so much confidence. I wish I had that quality. Adam told him to work on feeling and living the song. Usher said that he hopes Tanner works on his voice and comes back, and he said he would. I am definitely hoping to see him again. Blake said Tanner already has a great voice and something that separates him from others. Adam said don't change when the ladies start falling all over you.
**4 Chair Turn** Biff Gore sang A Change is Gonna Come by Sam Cooke-- Biff is so passionate about music and you can tell that from his performance. Adam was right with what he said, some things are just classic, and you don't want to mess with it, you just want to be a part of it. Shakira asked if she could be his date at the Grammy's when they win this. Usher said individuality is what makes you stand out from the rest. Blake said you just took me to church.

Dawn & Hawkes sang I've Just Seen a Face by The Beatles-- I loved this duo so much. They remind me of Alex and Sierra who just won X Factor. There's something about them that is so pure, genuine, and organic. This comes so naturally to them, and I feel like they are going to be in this competition for a while. Adam and Shakira turned. Adam said based on his taste and his roots that was his favorite performance he's ever seen on The Voice. He said that in some way he needs to be a part of their journey. Shakira agreed with Adam and felt embraced by them and captivated by their performance. Usher and Blake threw their support to Shakira but nevertheless....
Dawn & Hawkes chose Adam (Dawn was blown away by Adam's heartfelt speech)
Leo Gallo sang Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke-- Wow, I thought he was entertaining and I actually liked his voice, I am disappointed that the judges didn't turn around, it sure seemed like they were toying with the idea. His range was dope. Blake asked Leo and Adam if they wanted to exchange numbers. Leo said he wanted to dance with one of the judges and said he heard that Blake has moves. Leo then broke out into a dance and the judges were impressed. Adam asked him to come back and hold back on the dancing and focus on his voice.
Jeremy Briggs sang Bad Company by Bad Company-- I liked Jeremy and I think he has a powerful rock voice, but it's a little bit dated, very 80's. Blake and Shakira turned. Blake loved the way he sang through that first verse, it was smooth and had power. Shakira said she is hungry for success, Blake said, "we'll fix you a sandwich". She emphasized how much she wants to win.

Jake Worthington sang Don't Close Your Eyes by Keith Whitley-- He has improved so much. I can't even believe the difference from one year to the next. I loved the fullness and the feeling in his voice; it was touching. Adam turned, then Blake and finally Shakira (who Blake told to turn back around). Adam said I know you were waiting for Blake to turn around, but I did not wait for Blake to turn around. Adam called his performance perfect and Shakira agreed, and Jake said, you're perfect Shakira. Blake said he sang a true country song and asked him if he wanted to start his journey into country music with Adam. Jake said, Adam I appreciate you fighting for me, and my aunt thinks you're the sexiest thing on Earth, but I have to go with Blake.

Karina Mia sang Beneath Your Beautiful by Emeli Sande and Labrinth-- No one turned for her. I agree with Usher, I was waiting for a little more from her, but I agree with Blake's thoughts as well. Blake thought her middle range was spectacular and loved her vibrato.
**4 Chair Turn** Bria Kelly sang Steamroller Blues by James Taylor-- Bria was electrifying, it was almost impossible to believe that that voice came out of her. At 17, to have that level of maturity is incredible. Adam and Blake turned quickly, followed by Shakira, and Usher was the last to turn. Bria had said that her preference for a coach was Adam, but who knows if that will hold true. Adam said I can't believe that was you, and Bria expressed that she feels like she was born in the wrong generation. Usher said she was born in the right generation and it's brought them together.... awwww..... Bria said she used to play country and Blake called her a stud. Shakira said Bria reminds her or herself, and she has an energy that takes over the room. Blake said I am your fan no matter what. Usher tried to bribe her with a Grammy, and Adam joked that if you're Usher you can turn your Grammy's into shoes. I like Usher, but I feel like it was lame that he brought out his Grammy. Like Blake said, what does his Grammy have to do with her?

He took Bennie and the Jets and turned it into an even more soulful version of the song. His range was pretty impressive too; he should go far! Adam said he has a unique flair because it was an Elton John song but an R&B performance. Usher thought his creativity is what helps to define him as an artist. Blake joked with him and said his full voice when he goes for high notes in unbelievable. Shakira said mix it up, be adventurous, go with Blake.

Kristen Merlin sang Something More by Sugarland -- An excited Adam and fist pumping Shakira turned around for Kristen. There is something about her voice that's quite different, I just don't know that her voice impressed me in the way that other contestants have. Adam liked the way that she dipped in and out of notes. Blake said he didn't hit his button because she has a fast vibratto and Blake feels Shakira could help her control that. Shakira said if Kristen picks her she would call Miranda to have Miranda coach her to be Kristen's coach.

Tanner Linford sang Stay by Rihanna-- No one turned. I actually really liked this kid, at 16, for him to be able to go on stage and sing like that with so much confidence. I wish I had that quality. Adam told him to work on feeling and living the song. Usher said that he hopes Tanner works on his voice and comes back, and he said he would. I am definitely hoping to see him again. Blake said Tanner already has a great voice and something that separates him from others. Adam said don't change when the ladies start falling all over you.
**4 Chair Turn** Biff Gore sang A Change is Gonna Come by Sam Cooke-- Biff is so passionate about music and you can tell that from his performance. Adam was right with what he said, some things are just classic, and you don't want to mess with it, you just want to be a part of it. Shakira asked if she could be his date at the Grammy's when they win this. Usher said individuality is what makes you stand out from the rest. Blake said you just took me to church.

Dawn & Hawkes sang I've Just Seen a Face by The Beatles-- I loved this duo so much. They remind me of Alex and Sierra who just won X Factor. There's something about them that is so pure, genuine, and organic. This comes so naturally to them, and I feel like they are going to be in this competition for a while. Adam and Shakira turned. Adam said based on his taste and his roots that was his favorite performance he's ever seen on The Voice. He said that in some way he needs to be a part of their journey. Shakira agreed with Adam and felt embraced by them and captivated by their performance. Usher and Blake threw their support to Shakira but nevertheless....
Dawn & Hawkes chose Adam (Dawn was blown away by Adam's heartfelt speech)
Leo Gallo sang Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke-- Wow, I thought he was entertaining and I actually liked his voice, I am disappointed that the judges didn't turn around, it sure seemed like they were toying with the idea. His range was dope. Blake asked Leo and Adam if they wanted to exchange numbers. Leo said he wanted to dance with one of the judges and said he heard that Blake has moves. Leo then broke out into a dance and the judges were impressed. Adam asked him to come back and hold back on the dancing and focus on his voice.
Jeremy Briggs sang Bad Company by Bad Company-- I liked Jeremy and I think he has a powerful rock voice, but it's a little bit dated, very 80's. Blake and Shakira turned. Blake loved the way he sang through that first verse, it was smooth and had power. Shakira said she is hungry for success, Blake said, "we'll fix you a sandwich". She emphasized how much she wants to win.

Jake Worthington sang Don't Close Your Eyes by Keith Whitley-- He has improved so much. I can't even believe the difference from one year to the next. I loved the fullness and the feeling in his voice; it was touching. Adam turned, then Blake and finally Shakira (who Blake told to turn back around). Adam said I know you were waiting for Blake to turn around, but I did not wait for Blake to turn around. Adam called his performance perfect and Shakira agreed, and Jake said, you're perfect Shakira. Blake said he sang a true country song and asked him if he wanted to start his journey into country music with Adam. Jake said, Adam I appreciate you fighting for me, and my aunt thinks you're the sexiest thing on Earth, but I have to go with Blake.

Karina Mia sang Beneath Your Beautiful by Emeli Sande and Labrinth-- No one turned for her. I agree with Usher, I was waiting for a little more from her, but I agree with Blake's thoughts as well. Blake thought her middle range was spectacular and loved her vibrato.
**4 Chair Turn** Bria Kelly sang Steamroller Blues by James Taylor-- Bria was electrifying, it was almost impossible to believe that that voice came out of her. At 17, to have that level of maturity is incredible. Adam and Blake turned quickly, followed by Shakira, and Usher was the last to turn. Bria had said that her preference for a coach was Adam, but who knows if that will hold true. Adam said I can't believe that was you, and Bria expressed that she feels like she was born in the wrong generation. Usher said she was born in the right generation and it's brought them together.... awwww..... Bria said she used to play country and Blake called her a stud. Shakira said Bria reminds her or herself, and she has an energy that takes over the room. Blake said I am your fan no matter what. Usher tried to bribe her with a Grammy, and Adam joked that if you're Usher you can turn your Grammy's into shoes. I like Usher, but I feel like it was lame that he brought out his Grammy. Like Blake said, what does his Grammy have to do with her?
Bria chose Usher (watch another coach snatch her up after he dumps her, bets?)
