The Voice Season 26: One Last Time or Win the Knockout

Team Gwen:

Felsmere sang Son of a Preacher Man by Dusty Springfield-- I loved Felsmere's performance, that song was soulful and perfect for her.

Gabrielle Zabosky sang Used to be Young by Miley Cyrus-- This performance was so heartfelt. I felt that Gabrielle personally connected to the song. She talked about her story and how she and her family went through some tough times.

Kaye Sibal sang One Last Time by Ariana Grande-- I actually loved this performance on her. What a great song choice and so convincing.

Michael said Kaye what an amazing song. He loved Gabrielle's vocal and would choose her.  Snoop liked how Felsmere interpretted the song, and said Gabrielle gave him chills. He said Kay was heartwarming.

Team Reba:

Katie O sang Turn on the Radio by Reba-- and moved on! Frankie Torres and Kendall Eugene became cannon fodder which was sad because both of them were great singers.

Team Buble:

Edward Preble sang Send in the Clowns by Frank Sinatra-- What a talent! Oh my goodness, he's the real deal.

J Paul sang Kiss from a Rose by Seal-- J Paul did his own interpretation of the song and I felt like it was beautiful.

Shye sang The One That Got Away by Katy Perry-- She has a beautiful voice, like Tracy Chapman.

Snoop said Shye so much believability in your performance. J Paul, you made that song your own. Edward I felt like I closed my eyes and Frank Sinatra was on stage. Reba said Edward you've fascinated me since the beginning, you're a mature voice. Gwen felt J Paul won the knockout. Shye rich, tender, special voice, no one will sound like you. J Paul you have no boundaries, that song was your truth. Edward we stand on the shoulders of our heroes. You're a good soul. It's a pleasure to have beautiful talent here. Michael chose Shye! And Reba stole Edward!

The Voice Season 26: The Battles Give Us the Perfect Combinations

Picking up from the previous show, Austyns chose Team Snoop after all the coaches tried to steal him.

Team Snoop: Dreion vs. Georgia Starnes singing Perfect Combination by Stacy Lattisaw and Johnny Gill-- They are both amazing! I love the way Dreion puts his own signature and interpretation on everything. He has so much soul. Georgia just kept making me listen to her and pay attention to her. Her runs were stellar. Reba said they were so well matched; I agree, these were two four chair turns. Gwen said Dreion you have literally one of the best voices I have ever heard in my life. If I am going based on The Voice, I would pick Dreion. If I am going on the entire package I would pick Georgia, I don't know where you're going, but you're going somewhere. Michael called Georgia a soulful, beautiful, singer. He said soul has nothing to do with the color of your skin. He said Dreion, I just want to be like you, you have an incredible voice, smooth as silk. Snoop said there is no loser and either one of them could win The Voice.

“I just want to make sure that everybody understands that this opportunity, this exposure, this millions of people that’s watching you, whatever happens after this is not based on today, but what you do based off of today.”

Snoop chose Georgia! I am so shocked that no one stole Dreion!! He is so talented.

Monataged:
Team Gwen: Kay Sibal vs. Beya singing Please Please Please by Sabrina Carpenter-- Gwen chose Kay, Beya is eliminated.

Team Reba: Juakeem Fortson vs. Tsola singing Higher Love by Steve Winwood-- Reba chose Juakeen, Tsola is eliminated.

Team Buble: Sofronio Vasquez vs. Aliyah Khaylyn singing The Power of Love by Celine Dion-- This was amazing, such a difficult song to sing and these two did it pretty seamlessly. Snoop was moved by the performance. He said that they look like they belong together and he is glad he doesn't have to pick. Reba called it the performance of the night and said it gave her chills. Gwen mentioned how hard this song is to sing. Michael said these are the two strongest singers on his team. Michael chose Sofronio and Snoop stole Aliyah at the last minute.

Kicking off Night 5 was....

Cameron Wright-- Cameron sang The Way We Were by Barbara Streisand-- It was just the most amazing performance from start to finish. Everyone turned within seconds of the performance starting. There were absolutely no missteps here. Cameron came out to his mom who was a gospel singer at the age of 17. Of course all four coaches turned. Reba guessed that Cameron has been doing this a long time. Gwen was inspired by his performance and called it perfect. Michael predicted that Cameron will be in the finals. Snoop thinks he can help Cameron refine things. Cameron picked Team Michael.

Eliza Pryor sang Linger by The Cranberries-- Snoop was the only one who turned. Her breath control was not good, she kept breathing everywhere. It was a bit much.

Kay Sibal sang From the Start by Laufy-- I loved this performance! She has such a jazzy tone to her voice. Michael, Gwen, and Snoop turned. I feel like Michael's style most aligns with hers. Snoop steps out of the way and advocates for Gwen. I think it would have made sense to go with Michael.  Kay chose Team Gwen.

Mary McAvoy sang Say You Love Me-- Did not love this performance, only Snoop and Michael turned, and she picked Team Snoop.

Lauren Michael Sellers sang Oceans by Hillsong United-- Lauren is so talented, and she earned that four chair turn. The song was so perfect for her. Michael called her a beautiful, unique breath of fresh air. Gwen talked about hearing the song for the first time going on a run, and everyone commented on how Gwen lit up when Lauren was singing. Reba said an artist is successful when you're moved by their performance. Snoop said he could not be left out of that. Lauren said before she came on stage, she said the prayer Reba says and she picked Team Reba.

Mark Shiiba sang Don't Think Twice It's Alright by Bob Dylan-- Mark's voice is unlike anything I've heard. No one turned for him, but Michael used his coach's replay on him!

Some quick ones.... I don't think they will go far in the competition

Beya sang Our Day Will Come by Ruby and the Romantics-- Only Gwen turned

Tsola sang On My Mama by Victoria Monet-- Only Reba turned

Deon Jones sang Little Ghetto Boy by Donny Hathaway-- Only Reba turned

Brad Sample sang The Letter by The Box Tops-- Okay firstly, I love the song choice. Gwen thought his phrasing was like Fiona Apple and I agree. He sounded amazing. Why didn't they all turn? Reba and Snoop turned and Brad chose Snoop. This could be a great pairing.

Camryn Brooks sang Light On-- Camryn was on before and Ariana Grande was a coach at the time and told her to come back. Snoop said you're the perfect example of why we tell people to come back. Michael said his favorite part of the performance was when she kind of lost it in that moment that they all turned. Camryn picked Team Gwen.
