Team Gwen: Road to the Playoffs

Machine Gun Kelly (MJK, as he is now known) is the advisor for Team Gwen.

Team Gwen:

Jose Luis sang No More Drama by Mary J Blige-- Jose was jamming with this song. That was soulful and raw. The coaches were all on their feet. Snoop said you made a Mary J. Blige song your song, I would push to get you to the final two. Reba said your vocals were absolutely incredible, I know people who have been in this business a long time who are not as charismatic as you.

Jake Tankersley sang The Painter by Cody Johnson-- Snoop said I'm a proud uncle. I don't see how Gwen could send you home. Reba loved his range on the song. I agree that it was so heartfelt. Gwen said you brought out the emotion and took my notes. I agree with Reba, he is authentic and sounds so country, the whole package.

Gabrielle Zabosky sang Listen to Your Heart by Roxette-- Michael said you've grown exponentially. Snoop enjoyed her dynamics. Gwen said you've grown so much and I am so proud of you. I agree with Reba, there were times where she looked panicked but then she would find herself. She sounded beautiful though.

Jan Dan sang Dust in the Wind by Kansas-- I think so far Jan Dan and Jose are my faves of the night. I love his voice and his song choices have been so spot on. He is someone who knows who he is as an artist. Gorgeous performance. Reba said I love the way you vocalize. Michael said with all these genres, what else do you have up your sleeve. Snoop loved how he put his spin on it. Gwen said you're just so cool.

Sydney Sterlace sang Betty by Taylor Swift-- Sydney has unreal intuition and musicality as an artist. Michael said I'm blown away by your voice. Reba said I love your range. Snoop said you've always been a favorite of mine. I'm going to come watch you at your shows. Gwen said she can bring it under the pressure.

Gwen chose Jan Dan and Sydney Sterlace to move forward. Everyone on Gwen's team was good, I feel like she could not have gone wrong with any of them, but I like who she chose, and I think I agree with her decision. I am a little sad to see Jose Luis go.

The Voice Season 26: One Last Time or Win the Knockout

Team Gwen:

Felsmere sang Son of a Preacher Man by Dusty Springfield-- I loved Felsmere's performance, that song was soulful and perfect for her.

Gabrielle Zabosky sang Used to be Young by Miley Cyrus-- This performance was so heartfelt. I felt that Gabrielle personally connected to the song. She talked about her story and how she and her family went through some tough times.

Kaye Sibal sang One Last Time by Ariana Grande-- I actually loved this performance on her. What a great song choice and so convincing.

Michael said Kaye what an amazing song. He loved Gabrielle's vocal and would choose her.  Snoop liked how Felsmere interpretted the song, and said Gabrielle gave him chills. He said Kay was heartwarming.

Team Reba:

Katie O sang Turn on the Radio by Reba-- and moved on! Frankie Torres and Kendall Eugene became cannon fodder which was sad because both of them were great singers.

Team Buble:

Edward Preble sang Send in the Clowns by Frank Sinatra-- What a talent! Oh my goodness, he's the real deal.

J Paul sang Kiss from a Rose by Seal-- J Paul did his own interpretation of the song and I felt like it was beautiful.

Shye sang The One That Got Away by Katy Perry-- She has a beautiful voice, like Tracy Chapman.

Snoop said Shye so much believability in your performance. J Paul, you made that song your own. Edward I felt like I closed my eyes and Frank Sinatra was on stage. Reba said Edward you've fascinated me since the beginning, you're a mature voice. Gwen felt J Paul won the knockout. Shye rich, tender, special voice, no one will sound like you. J Paul you have no boundaries, that song was your truth. Edward we stand on the shoulders of our heroes. You're a good soul. It's a pleasure to have beautiful talent here. Michael chose Shye! And Reba stole Edward!

The Voice Season 26: I Lose Control with these Battles

Team Reba: Adam Bohanan vs. Kevin James Graham singing I Lose Control by Teddy Swims-- These two guys were one chair turns for Reba. It's pretty amazing how great they are. Adam has a powerful voice, and I loved the way Kevin made this his own song. Gwen likes both of them but thinks Adam won the battle. Michael would choose Kevin but thinks Reba should go with Adam. Snoop won't choose. Reba chose Adam.

Team Snoop: ChrisDeo and MisterMoon sang Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow by Carole King-- I need to be honest, I was not crazy about either, but I'd go with ChrisDeo. Gwen and Reba agreed with choosing ChrisDeo, and so that's who Snoop choose as well.

Team Michael: Edward Preble vs. Mark Shiiba sang What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong-- I think Edward and Mark are both great choices. They are both trying to do something that is different. Edward is a lover of standards and wants to carry forward that genre. Mark is a character singer, I've never heard anyone like him, and sometimes I dig it, and sometimes it's a bit much. Reba said she would go with Mark. Snoop said Mark would be a challenging pick. Gwen said she is mesmerized by Edward. Michael picked Edward. I am surprised no one stole Mark.

Montaged Battles...

Team Buble: Torion Sellers vs. Jeremy Beloate singing Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars. Michael chose Jeremy.

Team Snoop: Suede Lacy vs. Torre Blake singing What I'd Do for Love by Bobby Caldwell. Snoop chose Torre

Team Gwen: Frankie Torres vs. Gabrielle Zabosky singing Never Tear Us Apart by INXS-- This is one of my favorite performances this season thus far. I love this song, and both ladies sounded amazing. There is no competition where both of these ladies don't move forward. Gabrielle is a powerful singer, but Frankie is also impactful and held her own. The arrangement was gorgeous and showed off both of them. Michael called Frankie brave. Gabrielle said you gave Frankie that space between the notes. Snoop liked how they did not try to outdo each other. Reba loved Frankie's tone and Gabrielle's high notes and would go with Gabrielle. Gwen chose Gabrielle and at the last minute Reba stole Frankie.

The Voice Season 26: Night 4 of the Blinds

Recap of who is on my Voice Fantasy Team so far....

1. Jake Tankersley

2. Danny Joseph

3. Kendall Eugene

4. Sydney Sterlace

5. Mor Ilderton

6. Felsmere

7. Tanner Frick

8. Austyns Stancil

9. Edward Preble

10. Jeremy Beloate

11. Frankie Torres

Up first....

J. Paul sang I Keep Forgettin' by Michael McDonald-- J. has a great voice, so unique and so controlled. Reba said he sounded like a woman. Gwen said she would be a good cheerleader for him, but Michael said he would be a collaborator. J. Paul picked Michael. Snoop promised to steal later.

Sloane Simon sang Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield-- I loved the arrangement of this song, and how Sloan made it her own. She is someone I could see as a dark horse in this competition. Michael and Gwen turned, and Sloan picked Team Gwen.

Michael Alexandersson sang Ain't That a Kick in the Head-- I thought he had great character and seeing him-- he did not match his voice. Gwen and Snoop turned, and Michael surprisingly did not, despite this being his genre. Michael chose Snoop!

Jamison Puckett sang Faithfully by Journey--  I am enjoying all the unique voice this season but this was a little too out of my element. I was not following and not believing. Reba and Michael took a while to turn but did, and Jamison picked Michael.

Gabrielle Zabosky sang Mr. Know it All by Kelly Clarkson-- This was another artist I was underwhelmed with, she sounded off somehow throughout the performance. It was almost like she was flat? Somehow she got a 4 chair turn complete with a block-- Reba blocked Snoop. Gabrielle picked Gwen.

Christina Eagle sang Wildflowers and Wild Horses by Lainey Wilson-- You can hear the passion in her voice and some pain due to her own life experience losing both of her parents at a young age. Only Snoop turns, what a score, cause she is good. Snoop loved her spirit.

Jaukeem Fortson sang Easy On Me by Adele-- He is the youngest in this competition. He also sings with a maturity beyond his years. I feel like personally he might be a little young for a competition like this but he certainly has the talent. Everyone turns but Gwen, and Gwen regrets not turning. Jaukeem picks Team Reba, smart young man!

Kevin James Graham sings Stay with Me by Rod Stewart-- Kevin is a character singer for sure, and we have no idea what he looks like until Reba turns and she is the only one who did so he is on Team Reba.

Shye sang Superman (It's Not Easy) by Five for Fighting-- Shye has such talent, her voice is different! It's full and rich, yet she is so young at only 17. She is a deserved four chair turn! Snoop tells her that she is made for this. Reba says her voice is like butter. However, in the end she picks Michael.
