The Voice Season 29: The Blinds End and I Never Lie!

KJ Willis sang Roni by Bobby Brown-- This song is my jam. I loved it, it was a little different. I did want it to be a little more soulful but this is a tough song and he did it justice. John turned at the beginning and then Kelly. Kelly liked how comfortable he was on stage. John and Kelly both talked about knowing Babyface.
KJ chose John, I think he should have gone with Kelly like his dad thought.

Houston Kelly sang Walking in Memphis by Marc Cohn-- Okay so I like him, he's not perfect, but he has potential. He's also genuinely country. Kelly literally turned at the last possible moment.
Kelly chose Houston

Triple Turn: Ashley Marina sang Tonight I Wanna Cry by Keith Urban-- I love Ashley's voice. I feel like she is one of those artists who can sing multiple genres. Wow! All coaches turned at about the same time.  John thought she was so impressive and musical.
Ashley chose John surprisingly.

Aziz Guerra sang El Triste-- I cannot believe no one turned except Adam. I loved how the song became more and more dramatic as it went on. It just kept building. Kelly asked him about his musical influences-- he mentioned Luis Miguel, Juan Luis Guerra, and mariachi music. Adam said he heard so many things in Aziz's voice that he liked and that's why he had to turn.
Adam chose Aziz

Mariette Gevorgian sang Anyone by Demi Lovato-- no one turned. She was a little bit pitchy. The coaches urged her to come back.

Jason Farol sang Saturn by Sza-- no one turned. Same thing, some pitch and control issues.

Triple Turn: Mikenley Brown sang Teenage Dream by Katy Perry-- I loved LOVED her interpretation of this song. It was super original and you could tell she bleeds like an authenticity about her. Adam said it was ethereal and said he's a big fan. Kelly said she sounded like a country queen and that she knows how to win a show. John said I think you're cool, and we'd have a lot of fun together.
Mikenley chose Kelly and Kelly's team is full.

Kelly also won the triple turn competition.

Grace Humphries sang Both Sides Now by Joni Mitchell-- John turned for her and rightfully so, she is so poised and has such an angelic voice. She's a flower child. Adam said what held him back was pitch stuff but he thought the good parts were really good and he applauded her taste in music. John said he loved her voice and turned quickly.
John chose Grace

Natasha Blaine sang Kiss of Life by Sade-- Hmmm didn't love this honestly but John turned and liked that she approached the song with style.
John chose Natasha

Drew Russell sang Blue Bayou by Linda Ronstadt-- She has a beautiful voice. This is definitely a tougher song to sing. Adam was the only one who turned. I am so shocked that John did not turn. Adam said I am so happy I found my way to you. Adam said you're a lot better than this audition. Kelly said she picked a hard song, Adam said that song is ambitious.
Adam chose Drew

Syd Millevoi sang Mama Knows Best by Jessie J-- I love her attitude! She has so much sass. Her voice is ridiculous. Adam said, did you just win The Voice? Kelly said she's so mad right now. Adam said he is super stoked, and I cannot do that. There was soul, urgency, and passion; I am a fan, and I am blown away by what you do. John said you were sent from heaven to fill my final spot. You could win The Voice. Syd said she writes her own songs and she's a wedding singer.
Syd chose John

John's Team is full.

Daniel Sovich sang Just the Way You Are by Billy Joel-- Daniel seems like such a throwback singer and voice. It's like he comes from another time. I'm not sure why Adam did not push. Kelly said it felt very Broadway to me more than anyone else. No one turned!

Jared Shoemaker sang I Never Lie by Zach Top-- Blake totally would have turned for him if he were here. Adam turned! This was such a good, current, and relevant song choice too. He has an awesome voice!!! Adam loved the subtle simplicity in his voice.
Adam chose Jared and his team is full!

My picks: KJ Willis, Ashley Marina, Aziz Guerra, Mikenley Brown, Syd Millevoi, Jared Shoemaker

My previous picks for my team: My picks-- Alexia Jayy, Abigayle Oakley, Jonah Mayor, Bay Simpson, and Jeremy Keith, JW Griffin, Mike Steele, Bijou Belle, and Hunter Jordan
