The Top 11: Season 11 of The Voice

Team Miley: Ali Caldwell singing 9 to 5 by Dolly Parton-- Adam said he was glad to hear Ali do a country song. Blake said he was so impressed and that was so much fun. Blake felt the Tina Turner touches brought it to a new place. Miley said Ali is such a star. I personally loved the performance, I thought she was great. The song fit her well.

Team Blake: Sundance Head singing No One by Alicia Keys-- Alicia loved it! Wow, it was so good, obviously completely different, but completely amazing. Alicia said you made me listen to my song in a whole new way. Music is so powerful. Blake said, Sundance you should feel really proud of yourself right now. That was so powerful, and I think it was a breakout moment on our stage.

Team Miley: Aaron Gibson singing Hurt by Nine Inch Nails-- Adam said your voice is crazy and bravo to your coach cause that was the perfect song choice for you. Miley said I pretend I never listen to Adam but I do, he said he wanted to see you care, and you do. I liked it and thought it was strong, I don't think I was as enthusiastic as Adam and Miley, but I felt like it was a strong performance that showcased his unique vocal.

Team Blake: Courtney Harrell singing What I Did For Love from A Chorus Line-- I loved her performance, it was very obvious that she is connected to this song. I did feel that in certain points, it sounded like she was screaming. Blake said there is no one who wants this more than Courtney. Blake thinks she will definitely be around for another week.

Team Adam: Josh Gallagher singing Drunk on Your Love by Brett Eldredge -- Miley said I love the way you interact with the audience on stage, I felt like we were at your concert. Adam said you're so refreshing to me, you connect better than anyone. Josh is one of my personal favorites in this competition and I agree with both Miley and Adam's assessments.

Team Adam: Billy Gilman singing All I Ask by Adele-- Billy just continues to show so many different sides of himself. He displayed so much vulnerability tonight, it was amazing. Blake said you never hit a bad note, it's so good, and I'm happy for you. Adam said that is impressive and you made me feel something, it felt pure, real, and honest. You're everything that "the voice" stands for.

Team Alicia: Christian Cuevas singing Roseanna by Toto-- Miley said it was great that he brought a different style and energy to the song. Alicia said your voice is so big, like crystal, pure tone, there's no denying it. I liked Christian a lot, this was a cool rendition of an old song, He definitely took it and made it contemporary.

Team Blake: Austin Allsup singing Turn the Page by Bob Seger-- Wow, that was one of my favorite performances of the night. Adam said it was by far his best performance on the show. That was such a cool song and such a great arrangement of that song. Blake said I was on the edge of my seat. You have to stay in this competition, you're such a badass.

Team Miley: Darby Walker singing You Don't Own Me by Lesley Gore-- I did not love this performance at all. I felt like her vocal control was not very good at all. Definitely felt shouty and off pitch at points. Alicia liked her falsetto at the end and Miley spoke a lot about the meaning of the song.

Team Adam: Brendan Fletcher singing The River by Bruce Springsteen-- I agree with Blake, Brendan has a great storytelling voice. He really makes us feel the meaning of this song. Blake actually says he is jealous that Brendan is on Adam's team and wants to hear him sing a country song. Adam tells everyone that Brendan has really got it and America has to vote for him.

Team Alicia: We McDonald singing Must Be Love on the Brain by Rihanna-- We is singing one of my fave songs on the radio right now and one of my fave ever Rihanna songs. The song lends itself perfectly to We's style as a singer. Alicia sings her praises and says that We always comes with "it". She has so much potential and she deserves to soar.

Who is in the bottom three?

Darby Walker, Christian Cuevas, and Courtney Harrell or Aaron Gibson

Team Miley: Darby Walker singing Ruby Tuesday by The Rolling Stones-- I didn't love the song choice for her, but her voice had nice tone and inflection in it. I loved the breathy quality in her voice. Blake loved the raspy quality in her voice. Miley loved the freedom in her voice.

Team Alicia: Christian Cuevas singing The Scientist by Coldplay-- Loved Christian, didn't think this was his jam. The song was a little strange on him, but he did a good job nonetheless. Adam loved it and said he believes every song he sings.

Team Alicia: Sa'Rayah singing Living on a Prayer by Bon Jovi-- This was such a great interpretation of classic rock song. Blake said Sa'Rayah was hitting such big notes that the look on her face was like she couldn't believe it.

Team Adam: Billy Gilman singing Show Must Go On by Queen-- What an amazing performance, from start to finish, Billy's vocals were so impressive. This was a tour de force performance in which he did not make one misstep. Blake said as great as you were as a kid, you're a million times better as an adult, you've held on to your talent. Adam said you're truly special, that's why all four coaches were on their feet, this is just the beginning for you.

Team Blake: Austin Allsup singing Do Right Woman, Do Right Man by Aretha Franklin-- This was one of my favorite performances of the night. I felt like it bled authenticity; it just felt so real. Miley says she can't believe the notes he is hitting. Blake says there is a new movement of country artists coming up and he'll be damned if Austin can't sing better than them.

Team Alicia: We McDonald singing Take Me to Church by Hozier-- This was another performance that was amazing. We rocked out on this song, it seemed to be made for her. Alicia said that We is the real deal and she is right.

Team Miley: Aaron Gibson singing Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings by Father John Misty-- I didn't love the song choice but I do love the fact that Aaron has such a unique and original voice, and I can appreciate him staying true to who he is as an artist. Adam said he has the responsibiltiy to be s singer, and Miley says he chose the right song for himself.

Team Blake: Courtney Harrell singing I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing by Aerosmith-- I was left wanting a little more from this performance than I got. I was waiting for her to hit that HUGE note, and it just didn't happen. Blake felt she had a moment as a singer that she earned and feels she deserved this opportunity.

Team Adam: Josh Gallagher singing Why by Jason Aldean-- I loved that, it was very touching and I could tell that Josh really felt that performance and worked so hard for it. Blake said you deserve to be in this competition, really good job. Adam said you're a pleasure, no one works harder than you. I can learn so much from you and Garth, and I am very proud to have you on my team.

Team Miley: Ali Caldwell singing Did I Ever Love You by Leonard Cohen-- I didn't love the song, but I loved her and I loved her voice. The song was too theatrical but Ali is a star and there is a reason that every coach was on their feet. Alicia felt she made the song timeless. Miley said I trust you and thank you for trusting me.

Team Adam: Brendan Fletcher singing Whipping Post by The Allman Brothers Band-- Blake said it's exciting to see Aaron and Brendan's voices on this show. Adam said this guy deserves to be voted through so please vote for him.

Darby, Christian, and Courtney are my bottom three and one of them could be eliminated.

The Voice Season 11: The Last of The Knockouts Stun

Team Blake: Austin Allsup singing Breakdown by Tom Petty vs. Gabe Broussard singing It Will Rain by Bruno Mars-- All the coaches loved Gabe's control, but couldn't stop complimenting Austin on his grit and just how seasoned and professional he is, like he's been doing this his whole life. I feel like maybe, just maybe Gabe is doing this too soon, he should definitely come back if he's able.
Blake chose Austin

Team Miley: Darby Walker singing Shake It Off by Florence and the Machine vs. Maye Thomas singing Closer by Tegan and Sara-- I love Maye, wow, she impressed me. She is kind of like a Lady Gaga. Her voice is strong. I think I would give this knockout to her. Adam said Maye's performances were so well put together, and Darby you're so cute, sweet, and wonderful. Blake said this is as Miley as it gets. Blake said Maye had the more consistent vocal. Alicia said Darby's organic energy at 17 is awesome, and Maye I was riveted by you the whole time. Miley said Maye watching you is an experience, that was a home run, Darby, you did everything I asked, you nailed it.
Miley stunningly chose Darby

Team Adam: Brendan Fletcher singing Soulshine by The Allman Brothers vs. Nolan Neal singing Love is Your Name by Steven Tyler-- Miley couldn't decide but said she would go to a Nolan concert, and Brendan you're the type of voice I listen to back home. Adam said that both of them were world class performances and neither one of them deserves to go home. I liked both of them as well, and I definitely see how this is a tough decision for Adam.
Adam chose Brendan

Team Alicia: Sa'Rayah singing Ain't Nobody by Chaka Khan vs. Michael Sanchez Just the Two of Us by Bill Withers-- I can tell that Michael's home is the piano and his performance was so good and so natural, I loved it. Sa'Rayah just lit the place up. Adam said with Sa'Rayah the catwalk is the stage, and with Michael you are so much more dope than what you should be. Blake said Michael, I've been a fan of yours for such a long time, and Sa'Rayah, the notes you held out were incredible. Blake and Alicia went with Sa'Rayah and Miley and Adam went with Michael.
Alicia chose Sa'Rayah

Team Blake: Dana Harper singing You Give Me Something by James Morrison vs. Karlee Metzger singing Invincible by Kelly Clarkson-- I loved Dana, and I think she is really different. I loved Karlee too, but I wanted her to hit that huge note, and she messed up a little, it was a little shaky. Adam said you have to see this as a win; Dana, I love you, and I can't wait to see what songs you choose going forward.
Blake chose Dana

Team Miley-- Sophia Urista won over Josette Diaz

Team Miley: Aaron Gibson singing Die a Happy Man by Thomas Rhett vs. Josh Halverson singing Whiskey and You by Chris Stapleton-- Adam said Aaron I dig your voice, and Josh you bring me to another time. Blake said Aaron you have an edgy sounding voice, and Josh you are literally the chillest person I have ever met in my life, but yet you blaze your own path and are one of my favorite artists. Alicia said Aaron thank you for being you, and Josh beat to your own drum. Miley said Aaron you have grown so much, and Josh you believed every word. I loved both of these guys, not one of them deserves to go home. They are unbelievable. I love Aaron's sound, and I love Josh's story, his vibe. Both of them come across as such genuine and authentic artists to me.
Miley chose Aaron and Alicia stole Josh

The Voice: Season 11 The Battles Continue!

Team Adam: Johnny Rez vs. Nolan Neal singing Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel-- I liked both guys, I thought the song limited them a little bit. I almost feel like it was a disservice to how talented they really are. Blake would go with Johnny, and Alicia would go with Nolan. Johnny was more of a surprise to me but both of them are great. Adam said he had to go with who he was more connected with.
Adam chose Nolan

Team Miley: Darby Walker vs. Karlee Metzger singing Brand New Key by Melanie-- I literally feel like that song did NOTHING for either one of them. I didn't like the song choice at all. Adam said it was very Miley. Blake said Darby is so entertaining; Karlee had the edge vocally. Alicia was impressed the whole time. Miley said she couldn't decide.
Miley chose Darby ......... wow, Blake did the right thing! Karlee had the better vocal, and he stole Karlee

Team Blake: Blaine Long vs. Josh Gallagher singing Stranger in my House by Ronnie Milsap-- Josh, in my opinion is definitely the better performer. Alicia said she would go with Blaine because there was something special in his voice. Miley said she would go with Josh. Adam said that Josh reads like a contemporary country singer. Adam would go with Josh because he felt there is more to discover with him despite thinking that Blaine is talented.
Blake chose Josh

Adam said this is one of the hardest songs to sing and he loves Josh's vibe, but said he would pick Kylie. Blake joked that Josh should be in a western.
Alicia chose Kylie and Miley stole Josh

Team Blake: Christian Fermin vs. Gabe Broussard singing The Reason by Hoobastank-- It's definitely crazy that Gabe is only 15. Alicia said there was a great richness in Gabe's voice, she liked the rifts in Christian's voice. Miley said it still blows her mind that Gabe is only 15. Blake likes both of them but recognizes he has to make a choice.
Blake chose Gabe

Team Miley: Aaron Gibson vs. Sa'Rayah singing I'll Take Care of You by Bobby Bland-- I feel like this was the best battle of the night. I figured it out! Aaron Gibson sounds like Dave Matthews! They were both beyond amazing and it was out of both of their comfort zones but they conquered this. I loved the chemistry between them. Blake said Sa'Rayah you were born to sing that song, and Aaron every coach loves your voice. Alicia said she is proud both of them are here singing. Miley said Sa'Rayah I feel like I have given you enough to help you move forward, and Aaron you need me to help you spread your wings a little bit more.
Miley chose Aaron and Blake and Alicia want to steal Sa'Rayah-- Sa'Rayah said I love you too Blake after he said it to her. Alicia said two words and Sa'Rayah was in tears. Needless to say, Sa'Rayah chose Alicia

The Voice Season 11: The Amazing Blinds Continue

Aaron Gibson sang Losing My Religion by REM-- Miley, Alicia, and Blake turned. Adam held off. Aaron had a really interesting voice. I thought it was a strong song choice for him. Miley sells herself by saying that she and Aaron have a similar tone.
Aaron chose Miley

Simone Gundy sang I Who Have Nothing-- Adam and Miley turned right away. I loved the strength in Simone's voice. She is a little rough around the edges but I feel like she is someone who could definitely improve with some find training. Adam walked over and pressed Alicia and Blake's buttons to make sure that they worked. Miley said she felt like she was at Simone's show.
Simone chose Adam

Samantha Landrum sang Man I Feel Like a Woman by Shania Twain-- I knew no one was going to turn, the vocal was not strong enough.

Josh Gallagher sang Stay a Little Longer by Brothers Osborne-- I liked Josh's voice very much! The song choice was fun and he kept up with it. Blake and Alicia turned. Miley regretted not turning and Adam said he is still recovering from others who sing country going to Blake's team. Alicia said she doesn't feel that music has a genre. Blake said the most fun for him is helping new country artists coming along. Blake said I was born a country artist and I wanna die that way. Alicia said think outside the box and try something different.
Josh chose Blake

Gabriel Violett sang Treat You Better by Shawn Mendes-- Alicia turned and Blake turned at the very end. I didn't love it. His voice didn't seem right for the song.
Gabriel chose Alicia

Michael Sanchez sang Use Me by Bill Withers-- He seemed really into his performance. I liked his energy a lot. The coaches were all shocked that that voice came out of him. Incredible! That was just totally unexpected. He is going to do well.
Alicia chose Michael

Darby Walker sang Stand by Me by Florence and the Machine-- I loved her vocal range. I loved the breath and the rasp in her voice, her high notes are amazing. Miley turned first, and then Alicia, followed by Blake. Darby told Alicia that No One was her song. Alicia said she has a gorgeous tone and her voice is powerful. Blake says he heard the indi-pop and the country aspect of her voice. She says she likes old music and Adam says, Blake is old!
Darby chose Miley

Blake remembered him from 11 years ago and where he was. Alicia said your voice is really powerful. Alicia and Adam did a version of that song together and Austin said he had been listening to it.

Christian Fermin and Preston James both went to Team Blake

Khaliya Kimberlie sang Dibs by Kelsea Ballerini -- Blake and Miley both turned at the same time. Khaliya has so many unique things about her personally and it's crazy that she is only 16 and has that kind of voice. Miley talked a mile a minute. Blake tried to relate to the country artist in Khaliya but it wasn't enough for the Miley machine.
Khaliya chose Miley

Cooper Bascom sang I'm Gonna Be 500 Miles by the Proclaimers-- No one turned for Cooper. I felt like this wasn't the right arrangement for this song. Hopefully he will come back.

Halle Tomlinson sang New York State of Mind-- Adam turned almost immediately, followed by Alicia. I love her voice, incredible sound, her tone is sulty, very jazz like. This deserves four chairs. Where were Miley and Blake. Alicia said your voice has a signature to it and she loved how effortless it was. Adam thought she had a gorgeous voice with a lot of potential.
Halle chose Alicia

Nolan Neal sang Tiny Dancer by Elton John-- Blake and Adam both turned and Blake recognized him. Miley turned and last Alicia. He went from no chairs to a 4 chair turn! Wow, I remember Nolan, he's had quite the life so far. This was ten times better than his performance from last year. I loved this! Adam said welcome home and he thinks he is gonna win this season. Miley compared Nolan's voice to her dad's. Alicia said you're a classic all time voice. Blake said you're already an accomplished vocalist and you need to be on a team with people who are accomplished at winning. We can win this.
Nolan chose Adam
