HOT Fall Network TV: What Should You Watch Thursday and Friday Edition

Thursday

Superstore, season 2 premiered on September 22nd @ 8pm on NBC-- They made it through the strike and now they're going back to work. There will be shows centered around Halloween, Election Day, and Black Friday. Amy and Jonah's dynamic will continue to be a big part of the show. There will be a change in Amy's marriage. Their relationship will definitely grow this season.

Notorious, series premiered on September 22nd @ 9pm on ABC-- What makes me so excited about this show more than the premise is the two stars, Piper Perabo (Coyote Ugly, Covert Affairs) and Daniel Sunjata (Graceland). Perabo is TV producer Julia George and Sunjata is Hollywood lawyer Jake Gregorian. This premise is the alliance formed between these two and the effect of it on Hollywood.

Pitch, series premiered on September 22nd @ 9pm on FOX-- Probably the most critically acclaimed new series this season; Pitch shows us the world with the first female Major League Baseball Pitcher. Kylie Bunby is Ginny Baker who makes HISTORY when she is called up from the minor leagues to play for the San Diego Padres. Of course, the media coverage is crazy and Ginny does not like the attention at all. For it's part, MLB has been extremely supportive of the series.

Chicago Med, season two premiered on September 22nd @ 9pm on NBC-- This season is all about change. Members of the team are moving to different departments, getting promotions etc. Nurse April is dealing with a recent tuberculosis diagnosis. Natalie has finally taken off her wedding band. Is there hope for her and Halstead?

The Blacklist, season four premiered on September 22nd @ 10pm on NBC-- Liz is alive and faked her death to escape Red in an effort to protect her daughter. The bigger reveal came when Kirk revealed that he is Liz's father.

Friday

Macgyver, series premiered on September 23rd @ 8pm on CBS-- The original starred Richard Dean Anderson and this remake stars Lucas Till, he is best known for playing Havok in the X-Men movie series. He creates a team that goes around the world protecting US interests. The show is really meant for you to escape for an hour, it's fun and action packed.

Hell's Kitchen, season sixteen premiered on September 23rd @ 8pm on FOX-- Gordon Ramsey is back and ready to yell at a brand new group of hopefuls in an effort to make them better chefs.

The Vampire Diaries, the eighth and final season, premieres on October 21st @ 8pm on The CW-- To recap last season: the gang helped to curry Bonnie as she was under a curse that made her a vampire hunter. Two of her targets were star crossed couple, Stefan and Caroline who long last reunited with a kiss. Damon and Enzo, enemies turned friends, were possessed by an evil spirit that sent them on a killing spree. Expect Tyler and Jeremy to return for the final season, and Elena (Nina Dobrev) is in talks to make a final appearance. Hopefully she'll return and give everyone the ending that's hoped for.

Blue Bloods, season seven, premiered on September 21st @ 10pm on CBS-- Jamie will consider leaving the police force. Frank may have another chance at love when Lori Loughlin joins the show as a guest star. Danny will continue being Danny and getting himself into trouble. Erin will face some of her toughest cases yet.
